lol! i don't know how we've waited either! most people think i'm havin a boy but i don't know.
Next time (if there is gonna be 1) i'll prob find out the sex as its wierd lookin at just 'neutral colours' and not bein able to say 'he' or 'she'.

I've been havin period cramp type pains for a couple days but they don't feel like the lead up to anything. I hope i'm wrong. I'll be a week past my date on monday!

How about you, any signs?
x

I know, I saw you are a day late. I remember w/ my son I was 8 days late. I was sooo miserable. But didn't try anything but sex w/ him. My daughter, I had her 4 days early, and had researched things, but didn't try anything but sex lol. So I figured w/ this one maybe I'd try something just to see it it started anything. Like I said, I know my lil guy won't come until he's ready, I'm just so hoping its soon!! I def don't want to have a leap day baby!!! lol Good Luck to you!!! I hope it works for you very very very soon!!!!

Try the red raspberry leaf tea and the ladies say eggplant does something for you also. There's the exercise ball you can straddle and rock and the clary sage oil. Good Luck - let me know which one works for you you cause that's the one I'll be trying first!

sarahjk - Wednesday, 20 Feb

let me know as well because i don't want to be hanging around after 40wks. my back is killing me already

I was told that any nursing helps regardless of how long. You can also get the state top sometimes cover a breast pump rental or sometimes even cpver one for you to keep. Also wic can a lot of times give you a loaner in order for you to go back to work! Hope this helps!

Laurra83 - Sunday, 17 Feb
Hi i was reading your comment about half and half breast milk and formula... you said you don't want to pump because of the bonding and all but what is the difference if you pump so your husband can feed and bond or if you use formula? i think that breast milk in the first at least 3 weeks of life is the best! you know your baby is getting the nutrients and thats how nature intended it. besides with breast milk i've been told that when they vomit it don't really stink that much compaired to formula. If you are able to get this baby to latch on i would try breast milk and pumping for the first little bit! Good luck .... :)

no baby as yet! how about you? any signs?

Midwife has booked me in a week past my due date for a sweep and to discuss induction. I want baby before that!

nicolette r. - Sunday, 17 Feb
hello!i had my bundle of joy on the January 22nd.At the beginning he sucked on my niples so hard,i was bleeding,so then for like 5 days I wouldn't let him near, then started to use a breast pump.I also mix formula and breastmilk.Since I am back on my smoking habbit(like 4 cig.a day),after that i don't give him that milk.so,for now things r good.he loves sucking the nipple when he goes to bed.even though i have no desire to breastfeed him, when he searches for the nipple and opens his mouth like a little bird,i cannot refuse. So,don't listen to people,do what u want. It is so neat, when he just licks the nipple, because he is not hungry.i am loving it.

CrazyEights - Sunday, 17 Feb
Babies will choose bottle over breast because it's easier. You would need to establish your breastfeeding routine first before you could introduce a bottle.

jeanette - Sunday, 17 Feb
Milk comes out of a bottle with much less sucking effort, so given a choice lots of babies prefer it. My advice is to exclusively breastfeed for three weeks. All of the kinks with not latching and the pains and the frustruations should mostly be worked out by then. Breastfeeding is really hard when you first start doing it, so you will be tempted to use the bottle but if you're sure you want to do both you've got to go through the pain and frustration until you get to the truely satisfying part.

clairegeo - Friday, 1 Feb
hi, thanku 4 yr advice. they weren't comin regular at all. went to my midwife 2day and the heads engaged 3/5th so that was the pain last night. I'm gonna be soooo bad when genuine labour happens!

Hey, yr from plymouth! I'm from newcastle! Good luck x
