Hey my name is Courtney I am from week 32 just got there....lol.....I was reading a post you left and I too am stiched up I was wondering how things are going for you? Things are still good on my end i am still pregers, and my family is waiting to do a shower too but my dr said even if anything happens as in labor now i am good and the baby should be too he'll just have to stay in the hospital a little longer than i would like. Well sorry for rambling i hope all is well with you.

Do you have asthma or sleep apnea? That's what those symptoms sound like to me (not to say that you have that). Just wondering. You could also be having anxiety provoking dreams causing you to wake up gasping for air.

Bedrest since week 22!! What's wrong???

Identical twins are a fluke. Can't make them happen, can't stop them from happeneing. It's one baby and then all of a sudden, that splits into two perfectly formed babies. Monoamniotic twins are identical twins that split too late. Don't know why they split late, but they do. So, there wasn't time for them both to have an amniotic sac, so they shared one sac. If you think about it, it will make sense why they passed...Two cords and two active boys...They didn't have a chance. Thing that sucks is, they had a 50% chance of living and being perfectly fine. They just went on the sad side of my odds. And then, when I lost one, I had a 70% chance of the surviving baby living. 9 days later, he was gone too. :( I hate odds now!

ugh I don't miss that!! I was put on bedrest at 7 weeks for a few days then from 14 weeks till 22 with my son, then we were ok'd to travel, went into labor on the other side of the state at 25.5 weeks and then on bedrest till 28 weeks with my son. This time I was only on for 3 weeks due to my placenta coming detached. I understand 100% the frusteration!! I belong to Preemieschat on yahoo groups, awesome group of parents, they do let pregnant moms who have a chance of delivering early on the board and they can answer soooo many questions!! Please feel free to check it out! so since 22 weeks you have been doing good though?

You poor thing. How emotionally and physically draining! At least they are being thorough and you have good care. I am sure everything will work out just great! :O) Isn't it nice to have a site like this? Imagine back in the day? Crazy!

Have a beautiful Friday.

Where is the fluid? As in water leaking? All I know is I went into labor at 25.5 weeks and started my 26th week at 5cm dialated with a bulging bag of waters and was able to hold out till 28 weeks. I know some great sites to help cope with these questions and so forth, awesome preemie moms who have been through all of this. I will pray for you!

That is scary do they think you will have an early delivery or go full term? My doctor is inducing me at 38 weeks since I'm high risk, I'm kinda sad about being induced it takes away from the actual surprise!

kathy24 - Wednesday, 30 April
Well at least you get out of the house for a little bit going to the doctors appts. Why do they have you on bed rest if you don't mind me asking? I think about a pound and half is right on but I'm not for sure I have my next ultra sound on Mon so I will find out how much my little one weighs.

jesstew - Wednesday, 30 April
Well good luck!!! I had a mini fridge right at the end of my bed the whole time so food was easily accessable:) And I still did my showers, just laid in the back seat to the locations and laid on my side on couch while opening gifts. It all worked out so I hope it does for you too.

I am a plus size as well. Size 18 prior to pregnancy!!! Now, I have gained 9Lbs! Yikes!!!

jesstew - Wednesday, 30 April
wow how scary for you. Have they prepared you to give birth early? Like steroid shots to get the babies lungs healthy faster just in case? i was on bed rest with my daughter for a shortened cervix so I feel for you. I was on for 17 wks!!!! Then the little shit came late, lol. At least she came and was healthy, but they did get my mind prepared for a possible premie and with you being already dialted I'd hope they'd prepare you for that.

I'm sorry you are on bed rest that makes it very difficult! With my first son 16 years ago I was put on bed rest for preeclamsia and I was only 21 years old so I thought I knew more than the doctor and didn't really go on bedrest my son was born 4 weeks early because of it! So far this time around I'm doing really good but if I do have to go on bedrest this time I will do it and be serious about it! I have my next ultra sound on Mon and can't wait I'm dying to know how much my baby weighs!! Do you know if you are having a boy or girl??

Hi there and congrats on your pregnancy! I am plus size and I hate it!!! I was losing weight when I found out I was pregnant, the only good thing about it so far is that I have only gained 5 pounds during this pregnancy but I go to the dr next week so we will see how much I have gained this month!!!
