Finally Pregnant!

After a few months of trying we were finally sucessfull! First time pregnancy! We are very excited and can't wait to meet this new person! I am 34 and do have some concerns about being this age and just now having my first pregnancy, however I am looking for any and all encouragement I can get from this site. I look forward to hearing from you all and feel free to post any information you think a first timer can use, it would be greatly appreciated!

Finally had my first u/s on March 14th! Everything looks good and the baby was really active, moving around a lot. It was truly amazing to see that and made me realize how truly blessed we all are to be able to experience this. We are so looking forward to September and can't wait to meet this little person.

hi, baby is right direction but still not engaged. It looks like this baby is happy to be in there doesn't want to come out . I worry i'll have to be induced, I prefer to give more tgime to baby and let it all happen naturally but I am only allowed to be pregnant untill 6th october, this is the date i would have to be induced. My midwife wanted to give me sweep but I rejected as I think it's still early to mess around with it yet. I have another appointment on tuesday to discuss my options, i hope I'll have my baby by then so I don't have to see my midwife. lol

Hi, how are you? Tomorrow is our due date, can you believe it? well, I am hoping he arrives this weekend. I went to the doc's yesterday and she scheduled me in for an u/s this morning. My baby is weighing 8lbs 6oz so far,WOW! if he's in there any longer I don't know how i will deliver. We have an u/s picture and he has daddy's nose and mommy's mouth, so cute. Anyway, I hope you don't have to wait any longer either. I will be induced on oct. 3rd if no baby. keep me posted, i am also looking forward to seeing your baby's pics. take care.

hi, I started feelling lot of pressure in my pelvice walking is very difficult also today I've been getting back ache all day, my appointment today went well baby is moving down right direction but only 2/5 down. I don't know if I dilated as we don't have vaginal check up untill you are in labour. I don't think this baby will be early, I get the feeling it will be on time, as long as it's not later than due date than I am ok with that. I still need to wash all the baby clothes I've been giving by my friends. how do you feel?

hi, nice to hear from you! I am almost ready to have my baby but I think it's not going to be before the due date , I am measuring with the 37 weeks but you never know what will happen. My hospital bag is ready and i stoped working 3 weeks ago almost. I got that nesting feeling where I am cleaning the house and trying to keep it spotless but it's difficult with the dog.
thx for your comments about my pictures. I just got even fatter now but doesn't matter I 'll worry about it later. Babies room looks really good and my mum will be staying with us 1 week before my due date so she can be there with me when I go in to labour. I find my self getting really scared sometimes and she calms me down by telling me she had easy time during her labour and I will be the same. i feel sad some times that I nearly come to the end of my pregnancy and I will miss my bump and all the fuss everyone makes. This pregnancy made me feel really special. I have midwife appointment on tue so hopefully baby will be engaged. lol

Hi, how have you been? My summer was great, I started working last monday and will work until the baby decides to come. I haven't had any false contractions, but I am going weekly to my doc's appts and I am measuring 2 weeks ahead. I have not dialted yet, but I hope soon.

Congrats on the baby girl!!! I have a few 3D pics myself and when BF wakes up this morning, Im going to have him scan the pics so that I can update my page. I will ask my doctor if there are any more U/S on Wednesday. 175 is so expensive especially since we have to buy so many baby things. My doctor included it in my 19 week appointment.
by the way, how are you feeling in week 24 almost??? LOL that means we are 6months pregnant, can you believe how time flies.
how are you feeling? I don't know, but I had contraction like feelings last night. the baby felt low and I had really bad cramps and had to walk until the feeling went away. That's the second time that happened, I felt like I wanted him out and he felt like he wanted out OMG. I really hope nothing is wrong. I will ask the doc.

hi, i am sure every thing will be ok with your baby but it's always best to double check and make sure, it'll make you feel better. i have problem with digesting my food at the moment, last knight it kept me up awake with heart burn. my friend said it gets worse , i miss feeling like my oldself. i try to drink lot of water as well but it's not easy as said. lol

hi, My latest scan pic is the 20 week pic which on my page , if every thing is normal the way it should be than I will not be having having anymore scans, I was told by my doctor the less you have scans the better it is as it has some risk to babys health.From now on it'll only be midwife appointments , my next appointment is on the 28 weeks and than it'll be for every 3 weeks untill the week 35 than it'll be every 2 weeks untill the birth. I will be using my annual holidays which is 5 weeks all together before leaving for maternity so from 15th aug I will be on holiday up to baby due week and than my maternity will start which is about 52 weeks. I also get leg cramps it's very painfull, this is due to pregnancy before the baby I only ever had leg cramp once in my life so just shows you baby is taking all the goodness out of our body, you really have to eat well and drink lots of water, on my last appointment I was advised that best thing for cramps is drinking water. take care lol

Hi, I know, almost 23 wks, can you believe it!? soon we will be into our 3rd trimester YAY. anyway, how's ur baby bump? I haven't taken any pictures, but I am hoping to soon so that I can update my page. My baby is also kicking especially when I eat chocolate. I am going to go on a serious diet after this pregnancy. I want my body back. By the way, how much is a 3 D ultrasound? my doctor did it in the office with my 19wk check up.

Hi, sorry to hear that your baby would not show his/her jewels LOL! I am also starting to show a baby bump, it seems to be a boy year - there is another woman at my job whos due 4 days before us and she's also having a boy.
As for the food, Im having trouble eating certain things too. the baby seems to be taking all my taste buds and not much tastes good to me. how are you feeling lately. WE'RE HALFWAY THERE, WOHOOOOO!!!!

hi, I have been ok, just getting bigger everyday. It doesn't seem like you are going to put too much weight on which is good for you after birth it'll be easy to loose the pregnancy weight. it good that you are thinking of breast feeding because it has soo many benefits for you and baby. Did you know breast fed babies are less likely to be obess and can resist to allergies, have stronger ammune than the babies fed on baby food. Also mothers who feed their baby have less chance of having beast canser and it speeds up metabolism as well. if you do research you'll see it has too much benefits. You can buy a pump and freeze your milk in bottles for others to feed the baby as well. I will be doing this so even if I leave my baby with mum to babysit she can feed baby with my milk. It's very important to breast feed 1st 6 months and than switch between breast milk and bottle. Few of my friends told me that it's not easy but I will try to be determent about this and do what is best for me and my baby. I hope I have good milk flow, since my boobs grown soo much it looks like it's going to be good. lol

50 weeks off? WOW, that is awesome! Yes I think 6 weeks is pretty standard in the US. I get 8 weeks (with 100% pay) only because I'm having a C-section and they give me 2 extra weeks for that. ps. I found out I'm having another boy today! :)

Hi , have ou started putting some weight on yet? My boobs are bigger than my bump hopefully I'll have lots of quality milk to feed the baby, size doesn't always mean much apparently. Baby shower sounds like really good idea, I am thinking of doing as well but maybe in june, don't want to be too big and hot. I am eating very well now started enjoying my food with out counting calories. What you think about breast feeding? lol
