Well i'm definitely showing now, I had someone ask me today when I was due. My response was, "Oh, not until June!" Like i'm to big for being in my fourth month! Oh, well. But I am feeling pretty good, still tired in the early afternoon especially if I don't sleep well. I'm starting to have heartburn at night, and i'm still having headaches, but I get passed it. All I crave since day 1 is SWEETS!! Mostly fruit, I can eat tons of it, now i'm getting fruit smoothies everyday! I go back to the doctor on Dec. 26 and then another 4 weeks until I have my next u/s, so hopefully i'll find out the sex by the end of January. I feel like it could be a girl, but my head just says that it's probably another boy. I don't know and don't really care, i'll just be happy that my family will be complete.

I am feeling the baby move! It actually woke me up last night and I had to lay there and just enjoy the moment! I feel it when i'm lying down the most, either bath or bed. It's really amazing! It is all coming back to me now, I remember the flutters or flip flops, is what I like to call it. I'm so thankful for this baby, but I get nervous sometimes, it's hard to make sure each child gets the same amount of love and attention. So right now i'm trying really hard to pay a lot of attention to my youngest, my oldest is in Kindergarten and youngest will start pre-K this next school year, so it should be fine, i'm just giving him a little extra Mommy time. I still rock him at bedtime, it's our special time together. Anyway i'm finding some really nice non-maternity tops, that I can wear for awhile and still have after baby comes. The styles these days are really nice, i.e. baby doll tops, etc.. and i'm wearing my athletic wear pants, stretchy material, I just push it down below the belly! Mostly Old Navy! Enjoying the p/g now, still a little tired sometimes!

Thursday, December 27, 2007 - 15 weeks 3 days

Well the holidays were great!! My boys are so spoiled, they had everything under the sun!! I am very tired though, I have been working my "big butt" off!! Christmas was very hectic, I stayed up late putting presents under the tree, then got up at 4 AM because my brother brought over the boys new bikes that I had stashed at his house! Then after opening presents we got ready and drove 2 hours to our in-laws house, stayed the night and I had to rush back the next day for my Dr's appt!!! Which was good, I got to hear the HB but it seemed that the baby kept moving on us and we weren't able to get a HR, she guessed in the 140's . I only gained 1 lb, but I feel like I gained 15! She said everything was fine, the fundal height was good, etc.. My US is scheduled for January 24, 2008 and I will find out whether will be having another boy!! LOL! My husband won't be able to be there because he will be working out of town again. I'm a little sad, but I get to stay home with my kids and I don't have to work , so I can't complain. I know he wants to be there! Well it's going to be a very Happy New Year, God willing!!

January 4, 2008 - 16 weeks 5days

Bring on the heartburn!!! Boy do I remember this, everytime I eat something I get heartburn, and it doesn't even matter what it is!! Well I bought my first baby item, and I was really excited about it! I found an Evenflo stroller, and baby carrier, they call it a "travel system" at Target, it was 50% off and I couldn't pass it up! I paid $90.00 and it was regular 169.99, so i'm thrilled. It's very cute, and neutral in color so it's good for boy or girl! All is well with me and i'm happy that we're finally in the year that our baby will be born. Man the holidays made it go by so fast, it will probably slow down now! I still am feeling the baby move, but what's weird is that it was real active and noticable there for a few days and now i'm only feeling movement a couple times a day! I'm excited for it to get stronger and i'll be even happier when I get to the day that I actually see a foot or elbow or something poking out of my belly! Happy. happy new year to all !!!

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 - 19 weeks 2 days

So excited!! In less than 24 hours, I will know what I have been working so hard nurturing, and what is growing inside of me! Will it be a little girl or will we be blessed with another little boy! I do not not know what God has in store for our family, but I do know that God has a plan!! I am praying that whatever it may be that it is strong and healthy!! This baby has already been such a gift, maybe nobody will ever know how much of a gift this child has been!! We are so very blessed!!!

So happy to meet our little prince!! The final edition to our family! He looked adorable and very healthy, which is all we asked for! It was so funny, my husband was able to go with me, which made me very happy! We just laughed when she said, "Do you want to know what your having?", "It's a boy!!" We kind of expected that, but there was a little bit of hoping that it was a girl! We are happy and grateful for this little boy and couldn't ask for anything more! I measured at 20weeks 5 days which is over a weeks difference in my due date, so i'm hoping he will be here a little earlier!! In God's speed!!

20 weeks - Monday 1/28/2008

I had my follow up appt. today and everything was great! I gained like 4 lbs in 4 days!! Now I weigh 170 (but I did have on sneakers, though)!! She was able to pick up the babies HB right away, and it sounded good, loud, and strong! I don't go back until March 10, and then they'll do the GTT, yuck!! They want to do another u/s at around 32 weeks, but the tech had told me last Thursday that the Dr. might want to do another one and not to worry! She said that my baby was moving around so much that she was having trouble getting the pics that she needed. So that's ok with me, in 12 weeks I will get to see my baby again!

Wednesday, February 27, 2008 - 24 w 2d

I have not updated in a while because there hasn't been a whole lot to talk about. Mostly I have been pretty miserable! I am having so many aches and pains with this pregnancy, that in my heart I know that I could not put my body through this again. I'm planning on having my tubes tied while i'm in the hospital and was kind of nervous about it because it is so final, but now I know that I can't do this again! I'm anxious for this baby to come, and we are having a very tough time trying to decide on a name! It's either Carsyn, or Caden at this point, my husband likes Carsyn Joseph! I am very emotional and just nervous about adding another child to our family! Of course I love him and i'm happy, I am just going through some of the normal emotions! I wonder when i'll ever be able to go back to work and financially we would be much better off, but it is just not possible! So I go back to the Dr. on March 10 and I plan on talking about some of my fears, but I already know what they'll say, "It's very normal to be anxious about an up and coming delivery!" The last thing on my mind is that I have been thinking about trying a water birth, my first two deliveries were natural and rather fast, but still painful! And from what i've heard subsequent deliveries can be even quicker, so i'm thinking maybe water birth to help ease the pain. Sorry to be so negative with this post, but it is where I am emotionally. Hopefully after my next visit I will be a little more positive!!!

March 11, 2008 - 26 w 1day

I had my appt yesterday and it went well. I have only gained 3 lbs in the past 6 weeks, which I was surprised because I feel huge! I did get a prescription for a maternity belt and in only one day of wearing it I am feeling much better and the pain is less! I did however fail my GTT, which I am bummed about!! Now I will have to do the 3 hr test and be poked like 5 times, so I cried when I saw that blood sugar level pop up, it was 147. Baby ? (no name decided STILL!) is moving around quite a bit and it feels different now! Much stronger, like arms and legs moving around! He also gets up underneath my right rib cage and it hurts like heck! I'm feeling better, but still a little stressed, and i'm not really sure why! It's more like anxiety about having another baby and I don't think it helps that I have been feeling so terrible lately! I think once he's here and we settle into a new routine, and I start feeling better physically it will all fall into place. Thw MW as I had suspected made me feel kind of stupid after I talked to her about my anxieties, she could have been a little more understanding, and then she started pushing the breastfeeding issue already. I told her that I had tried with both my boys, but was never real sucessful, and that I do plan on trying again! So, she went on to say that I have to come back in 2 weeks for my Rhogam injection, on March 25 and at that time I will also see a Doctor and have a full checkup, after that they will schedule my 32 week u/s! But now I have to go next week to a lab for the GTT, ugh! Any way, baby is doing well and that is most important!

Wednesday, March 26, 2008 - 28w 2d

And we have a name!!! It's official! We have grown very fond of the name Collin, and Joseph is for my Pap-pap! We miss you! Anyway I have been very sick for the past week, coughing and peeing myself! Oh yeah, it's been loads of fun! NOT! I got antiobiotics yesterday and so far i'm not feeling a whole lot better, but i'm sure I will by the end of the week! My appt went great yesterday, and babies measuring fine and HB was 138. I'm still at 173 lbs, which means i've gained 13 lbs. so far. I got my Rhogam shot and still need to follow up on the GTT. In less than 4 weeks i'll have another U/S, which i'm looking forward to. Time seems to be moving right along, only 82 days to go! Very anxious, but willing to wait for a healthy baby!!

Monday April 14, 2008 - 31 weeks

I had my Dr appt today and it went great! I'm measuring right on target and the babies HB was 158. I did my last glucose test and it was perfect, so no more tests, Dr was happy with the results. This is also the 2nd time that i've seen the Dr instead of the MW and I like him alot. He listens and I was able to tell him all about my other births, so I feel comfortable with him. I asked if I could see him from now on, and he said yes. He will also do my tubal ligation. He also told me that once I make it to 39 or 40 weeks, if there are changes in my cervix he will schedule an induction if I want, so that we can be sure he is on duty. Yea!! Of course I want an induction, because I have 2 children at home and I would hate to go into labor at night! My family is not close by. Anyway I go back April 28 for an u/s, and May 1st for my appt. Moving right along!!!
