Hi girls!!! Well, I'm new to this and let me figure out where to start. I found out that I was pregnant Aug 19, 07. It was the most happiest day of my life. Of course, my husband was so shocked he made me go to Wal-mart and purchase 4 more pregnancy tests to actually confirm it was the truth.

I was in the military from 2003-2006 and stationed in beautiful Hawaii. I met my husband in Afghanistan 2004-2005 when he did a 1 year tour there. He was also in the military. Than in 2006 I served my 3 years and now I'm serving the rest of the time as Inactive reserve.

My husband and I are so thrilled to welcome our little princess. We both went thru hard times during my pregnancy, but things have turned out to be good as the months went by.

I `m so upset. Yesturday my doctor called me and I failed my 3 hour glucose testing. So this Thursday I have to attend a Diabetes class. I `m really bummed out but hopefully things will be ok with the baby.

Wednesday, 30 Jan

Ok, I just got back from the doctors. I have to attend a Diabetes class tomorrow. The Dr. says the baby looks good and moving alot. So thats good news for me. So here I updated a pic of my ultrasound of my little one. I'm 29 weeks here. I love her already.

Well, what can I say my back is starting to hurt real bad and I only have 10 weeks left before I have Iris. Tomorrow I have to go to the Doctors to do a checkup on me and make sure that I `m dieting and my sugar isn `t out of control. So I will keep you updated!

Wednesday, 20 Feb

Well, today I went to have an ultrasound. I was amazed on how big Iris got. The Ultrasound tech said she weighed 5lbs and that I `m not 32 weeks according to Iris ` measurements. I `m 33 weeks. Is that possible? I don `t know. But I really can `t wait to have her in my arms. What do u guys think?

Friday, 22 Feb

Well, today I have been feeling weird. If I `m sitting down and I get up to walk I swear my belly cramps. Just imagine 500 cruches while your working out. Thats how I feel. Hope things are normal.

Monday, 25 Feb

Well, today I got a call from my Dr. `s nurse and she stated that I had to have a fetal monitoring depending on my gestational numbers. I `m alittle worried and dont know what to expect. I only have 7 weeks but who knows. I will find out what they say this Thursday.

Wednesday, 27 Feb

Tomorrow I have to go see the dietian for GD. I `m nervous about going. I really don `t want to go but have to. But other than that, my husband told me that he is going to do my baby shower. I never heard of your spouse doing it for you, but its really sweet of him to do that.

Friday, 29 Feb

Well, yesturday I had my appointment with the dietian. She looked at my GD numbers and said I `m doing pretty good but there are days that my numbers were high. So they prescribed me some pills to control my sugar. but i have to return next thursday so they can check my numbers again. In a couple of weeks, I `m going to have to do the fetal monitor thing as well. These last weeks are really cramming in with alot of appointments.

yea i didnt really want my b/f to come to my baby shower so we are having a diaper party and thats for him so he dont feel left out lol so all his friends will be there and there will be beer n stuff n we supply good n beer all you have to do it bring diapers

Well good luck to you! I went back to the doctor today and she said I was going to have to go on the insulin shots I start those tomorrow. I'm so disappointed I have truly tried so hard.

Hi! I'm curios to know what the fetal monitoring actually is and why are you having this done....only because I also am 33 wks with GD and I cannot control it yet doing the diet and also taking insulin pills. I go to the doctor every week and she ups my dose of medicine....so that's why I'm curious. Do you have to prick your finger and also have you been able to keep your sugar levels as they are supposed to be. I prick my finger 4 times and day and it's up and down.....so stressful sometimes I feel like giving up cause I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions please please comment me on my page. You mentioned fetal monitoring... like a non-stress test? I go to the hospital for NST's every week. They monitor the baby's heartrate and movement. I like it because I can hear my little girl's heartbeat and see how much she moves. 99% of women and babies pass these Non stress tests. Good luck.

you should have a baby shower. You get so much I hear. I would let my fiance throw one for me if i didnt have anyone else i almost did actualy cause my family is in reno and i am in sacramento and so is his family and friend but I dont have any friends here so he almost threw one down in sacramnto for me too. But then we desided it was to much work and we would combine it. Oh heres an Idea if you dont have a baby shower have a welcome home party that way you and your hubby can plan it and you still get to see everyone and get gift. My frind did a a diaper party after she had her son and she got so much stuff.

I think they can totally tell how far along you are by measuring with the US... all the other dates are just guesses and the US is a little more accurate. How neat if you get to deliver early! (well, I'd be jealous anyway, I'm so ready to be done)... I noticed you are in Simi - where will you be delivering? I'm in Ventura, but will be going to Los Robles.

yep i like this site because you can find people with the same due date and all well i got to dates april 2 to the 23rd the 23rd is my due date i just want april to get here fast so i can hold my son for the first time.
