4/25/08 We found out two days ago that we're having a girl. We are SO EXCITED! I cried like a baby when the technician told me. I didn't realize how much I really wanted a girl until that point.

I think we're going to name her Amelia. That name is really growing on both of us. She is so active, moving around all day long. I feel like I've gotten to know her so well already.

I can't believe we only have 9+ weeks to go. To me, this pregnancy has flown! I know everyone says it seems to take forever, but it's gone very quickly for me. :)

i have gain 35 pounds so far too, it does seem like lot but like you it doesn't even seem like iv gained that much, i think its just all baby!. good luck with your baby

Oh that is too funny! My (what will be) Nursery was also our dumping grounds. We have since cleaned most of it out and replaced it all with the Baby stuff. There is no organization to it at all. I am waiting for my hubby to paint (he won't let me) and I need to buy a dresser thats why I haven't washed all the clothes. I better get going because these little stinkers ahve a mind of their own =)

I am with you on the smell thing. I hate it. Not sure I have an answer for it, but you are NOT alone. The Dr. told me it's just because the hormones are different and I'll go back to normal once I am not sharing my body with someone else. I am having to quit working, I thought the same thing, but the Dr. and my hubby say May 7th is it for me....

Just commenting on your post...if you are having a strange smell down there, you need to call your doctor. Sounds like you might have an infection...which is not uncommon in pregnancy...possibly something called bacterial vaginosis. They can give you oral medication for this, but they can't tell you why you have it!!! Not trying to scare you, but this can cause preterm labor, so just call to be on the safe side and ask to come in! Hope you get better soon! :)

Congrats on your baby girl. I will work up until 5 weeks to go but atm am working full time hours and its killing me just cos i am sooooo unmotivated and tired. lucky for you i would prefer the ehat but were just coming into our winter and its bloody cold here lol one more question this is my first so im not really sure have you packed your hospital bag yet or do you know when to?

Thanks for replying ive have all diffrent midwifes and doctors telling me diffrent things sometimes they just like to scare you i think but they have now worn of so hopefully everthing is ok, hope all is well with your pregnancy all the best for the furture.

Thank you so much for the support! I was having a really grouchy day, and I think the problem has been trying to keep up a ridiculous number of hours at work- like nothing is different. The best part of this site is the ability to vent without people thinking that you are terribly ungrateful to be pregnant. I love the solidarity! Only 3 more months! Yea!

I have been really sick for almost three weeks, I had the flu and then it turned into a really bad cough. I found robitussin seemed to help and the nighttime formula seemed to help me sleep a little better. My Dr. said this might help. I feel sorry for the baby b/c I cough all the time. Hope you are feeling better soon, I am finally starting to feel better.

Yea it is soo not fair... My husband came home for lunch today before i left for work and i almost started crying because i am sick of not feeling well. It just seems to be one thing after another now and its only going to get worse as we get bigger. I wish it were june already lol:) I hope you feel better!!

All is well here,s till crazy pressue, but dr checked and not dialating, was told not lift or intercorse, but with kids athome, how dont ya lift things!!!!!Well it makes the u/s so exciting when u dont know, I go in 2 wks for my next one, I already have been tld a boy, 2 times, so am pretty sure, but u can never be too sure, mothers gut is usually right!
I have a u/s on the 7th of April, so I will be 28 .5 wks, what about u, how far along will u be, stay healthy keep in toach,,,!!!!!

I had an awful cold for 2 and a half weeks. My cough lasted a week and a half and i took Robitussin DM that whole week and a half. I didnt want to but i was coughing so much that it was making me throw up and my doc told me that the medicine wouldnt harm my baby but the coughing could cause it could cause me to crack a rib. I felt bad about it but i wouldnt have been able to make it without the medicine.
