Alleigh - Wednesday, 18 June
lol, 5 days is too much, but I was 10 days with my first and I'm 1 day right now!!
It's such a rip off to put in your 40 weeks and then nothing happens eh? You're not alone!!!!!

Hi there! There are instructions for having your birth partner do it or for when you have to do it yourself. I'm going to concentrate on it today. Here's the link if you're interested:

http://www.maternityacupressure.com/

You get a book on helpful positions during labour too. I don't know how worth it it'll be, but as I said, I was desperate.

local pharmacys sell castor oil but they wont sell it to pregnant women so get a friend or your hubby to get it for you. and if you do take it, make sure you mix it with pure orange juice and only use about 50ml xx

clarejustin - Tuesday, 17 June
I bought castor oil at a local pharmacy. Any place should have it i think since it's just a laxative. It's sitting in my washroom waiting to be opened. I'm too scared to take it. Do you know how many tea spoons we have to take? On here it says to take 1-4 oz but whats that in tea spoons. I'm so bad with that kind of stuff.

I didn't have a birth plan with my 1st, and I don't think I'm going to write one this time. As long as my doct approves drugs for pain, I don't care what they do. Well... of coarse, I want them to keep me and baby safe, but I think that's the obvious. My doct has been my OB-GYN for 13 years, so I think our discussions throughout these 9mths has covered it all...

noodle - Tuesday, 27 May
I have always given a copy to OB, pediatrician and hospital and they have always paid attention to it. (:

emily1 - Thursday, 22 May
yea it isn't... i never went to school for it... most of it i learned from plainly speaking it and just being corrected.... so the spelling comes out by simply trying and learning from mistakes... you know... oh well. where are you from?

i wouldn't worry if i were you....i was 100 lbs pre-prego, and now i'm almost 160 lbs. i'm pretty sure i'm at maximum capacity right now!

christy33 - Tuesday, 20 May
Oh yeah! Don't be scared! It's amazing!

christy33 - Tuesday, 20 May
You know I had both mine completely natural, but only because they came very fast and it was to late for pain meds. The only advise I would give is have your hubby rub your lower back during cont. really hard! That helped the most, that, and squezzing the crap out of his hand! So warn him ahead of time! LOL! And if you change your mind about pain control, don't feel bad, go for it!!!

queen-ri - Tuesday, 20 May
lol don't worry you will do great! The main pointers I have for you is try to get a birthing partner or partners you are totally comfortable with - any stress attached they need to not be ther at least not for the first labor stage - it is all about keeping you focused and calm and letting your body work - try to stay out of the hospital as long as you can because your own environment is more familiar and usually causes less anxiety - When my sister had her baby we were all worried lol because she doesn't do pain, stress, anxiety or fear well at all but what helped was the supportive team she had who were experienced and the focus picture I had for her. I think that picture helped alot because it removed her from the situation and helped her focus. Good Luck!!!

I'm going natural too and this is my first as well. I've read Ina May Gaskin's "Guide to Childbirth" and the best chapter in there is called 'Sphincter Law'. I would recommend reading this chapter if nothing else as it is the most logical concept ever. I also read birth stories and avoid TV births completely. They are dramatized for TV so I don't like it. Our plan is to stay calm, stay home, and stay open for whatever comes our way. Good luck! I'm sure you'll be just fine.

i bought a jogging stroller when i had my daughter in 04. its an expedition jogger. but i bought it b/c it looked really cool and i walk alot. i still have it and im going to use it once more with this lil guy. but theres just a couple complaints. for one you cant turn real good b/c of the front wheel. you have to push down on the stroller and lift the front tire up sometimes to make sharper turns. its sometimes a pain. but the huge pain in the rear is when i folds up its hard to fit it in any car or car trunk b/c of the front tire{once again the front tire lol}. i have a 92 mustang and a 96 cadillac s.d. and it wont firt in either without taking the front tire off. and even then its huge.

just something to think about before you buy one. im sure if your one of those moms that have a mini van you should be all good. lol.

take care
xoxo
