Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker

January 11 0715 - so I'm getting induced today. They said they would probably call at 0630, but they haven't called yet. Mom is here from BC, she's supposed to leave monday so my dr. was nice enough to get the baby here now. He won't be delivering, though, which I'm bummed about, but he said he'd stop in this afternoon. I'm on very little sleep so I'm dying for that phone call. Get me in there! We're really excited to have the baby today. I'm betting on a great labour - about 6-7 hours. I can't wait to see her. I'm packed and ready to go, my mom's ready, daddy is sleeping but he showered last night, so he'll be ready to go when they call.

Carys Emily Annabel Fletcher

Carys is a Welsh girl name.
The meaning of the name is `Loving'

I know you were hoping we weren't going to say this, but don't expect this baby to come early. Your baby is nice and comfy tucked away in your womb and has no interest in joining the rest of the world. We predict your baby will be born after its due date. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 6.5 pounds and that your labor will be about 12 hours long.

WHEN TO CALL THE PEDIATRICIAN FOR FEVER: http://babycenter.com/0_fever_84.bc

Most doctors — and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) — agree that a normal body temperature for a healthy baby is between 97 and 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit (36 to 38 degrees Celsius). If your baby's rectal temperature is above this range, he has a fever.

• If your baby is less than 3 months old and has a temperature of 100.4 degrees F (38 degrees C) or higher, call the doctor immediately. A baby this young needs to be checked for serious infection or disease.

• For a baby between 3 and 6 months old, call if his temperature reaches 101 degrees F (38.3 degrees C) or higher.

• If your baby is 6 months or older, call if his fever reaches 103 degrees F (39.4 degrees C) or higher.

Frigomom - Saturday, 26 July
Hey! Gavin has been going through some ups and downs the last couple of months. He no longer sleeps through the night (we had 2.5months of full night sleep bliss) but is starting these lsat couple of weeks to be a happier baby during the day. He still is quite the attention hog but he at least is happier while being like that. So I think as long as he is either having good days or good nights I will keep my sanity. Thanks for asking. How is Carys doing these days? Growing up quickly I assume??

I wouldn't mind either way - but Jarrett wants it to be a suprise - which will be kinda cool at the end of everything!!!! I am SOOO EXCITED to have this little monster Went shopping yesterday with T and was in the maternity bathing suits - what an experience. Going to Ontario in August so need a new bathing suit so I can just float in my mom and dads pool. Gotta get these huge legs and big belly tanned so I look a little more normal :)
Cheers Tiff

THANKS SO MUCH!!! My mom is doing better. My parents got their power back after not having it for a little over two days. My mom was down to only having 1 tank of oxygen. There are so many familys that lost so much. I hope to take some pictures and post them so you guys can see. I'm to thankful that my family is ok now. I hope to get on often so I can catch up on everything. CONGRATS to those of you that have had your little ones and I thinks its great that I have such awsome friends on this site. THANKS again. Ours has been working its been an off and on thing. It might be a little while when I can sit down and catch up but I will do my best. Please keep my mom in your prayers her name is Mary and she's on oxygen and is running low and she needs power and soon. Alot of homes had alot of damage from the 90 mph winds we had MANY trees have been up rooted.
