Going on friends suggestions I took some castor oil on May 20. Well all that happened was some cramping and a lot of time in the toilette. It aslo made me very sick to my stomache and I ended up sick. Being that I am so stubborn, I thought I would try the castor oil again the next evening and IT WORKED! It made me sick to my stomach again so I went to lay down in bed and at 8:45pm my water broke. At 9:15pm I got my first contraction and a whole lot of pressure. That is when I went to the hospital. My contractions were not consistant but they were definetly getting stronger. The nurse checked me at 10:45pm and I was only 2 cm. She checked me again at 11:45 and I was only 3cm and the contractions were pretty intense. I decided I wanted some medication for the pain but because I live in such a small town they do not do epidurals here, so they gave me demerol. Well that did NOTHING! At around 12:30 I began to feel alot of pressure so she checked me again and I was 6-7cm. Finally some progress! They decided to call the dr to come in to the hospital. At 12:45 I began to feel as though I needed to push and they really didn't want me to because the dr was not there yet. The nurses finaly wheeled me to the delivery room and at the dr got there around 12:55. The nurses told me then that I could start pushing and Olivia Rayne was born at 1:12am! Her shoulders got stuck so she had a hard time coming out but other than that she is GREAT! I love her so much!

March 20, 2008

Since January I have been getting alot of braxton hicks contractions. At the end of Feburary I started to get cramping along with the braxton hicks. The dr sent me to the hospital for a non stress test. The test was fine. I continued to get the contractions and the cramping. On March 17 I started bleeding. I went to the emergency room and the nurse that checked me said that my cervix was very short and I soft and it would admit a finger. I also had an UTI and a yeast infection. They kept me in the hospital that night and I had an ultrasound the next day and then they sent me home to be on bed rest. On March 19 the results from the ultrasound showed the baby was at 31 weeks and 4 lbs. The dr told me today that I was showing signs of preterm labor but he does not want to check me himself because it could cause me to go into labor. He feels that this could have been caused by the infections I have. He is worried that I will deliver early so he is making have steroid shots to help develope babies lungs. If I do go into labor early I will have to be flown to the city (which is a 5 hr drive away) because they do not deal with that here in the small town I live in. I now have to stay on bed rest for the next few weeks and get non stress test 3 times a week. I guess we will see what happens during the next week and go from there. Hopefully all goes well and she stays put for at least a 6 or 7 weeks!

We had our ultrasound today. I guess all these prediction things are right because its a GIRL!!! Or so they think but they are not totally sure. The great thing is I already have a girl so I don't have to go out and buy new things. My daughter started to cry when she found out because she wanted a little brother! AWE! I hope things change once the baby gets here!

You have a 28% chance of having a boy.
And you have a 71% chance of having a girl.

And Here's Why...
You are carrying the extra weight around the hips and bottom, so it's a girl.
The hair on your legs is not growing any faster during your preganacy, so it's a girl.
Girls are carried high. You are going to have a girl.
Your feet are not colder than they were before pregnancy. You are having a girl.
You refuse to eat the heel of a loaf of bread. You are having a girl.
Dad-to-be is gaining weight right along with Mom-to-be, which means that you'll have a boy.
The maternal grandmother doesn't have gray hair (dyed or natural), so a girl will be born.
You had morning sickness early in pregnancy, so you are expecting a girl.
You are not looking particularly good during pregnancy. Therefore, it must be a girl, because girls steal their mother's looks.
Your chest development has not been very dramatic during pregnancy. You should expect a boy.
Since the sum of the mother's age at conception and the number of the month of conception is even, it will be a boy.
Your urine is a dull yellow color, so you will have a girl.
You are craving sweets, which means that it is a girl.
Your nose hasn't changed during pregnancy, which indicates a girl.
You have been craving fruits, so it is a girl.
Your baby's heart rate is below 140 beats per minute, so it's a boy.
You have no desire for orange juice, so it's a boy.
You are having headaches, so it's a boy.
Your belly looks like a watermelon, so it's a girl.
You show them the palm of your hand, so it's a girl.
You use the body of the mug, so it's a girl.

83 % chance of having a girl

Feburary 6, 2008

I go for my next sonogram on February 13, 2008. I am so excited that I will hopefully get to find out what this little one is! We do have some names picked out already but I am sure that by the time baby gets here they will change. Right now they are Jaxson Rayce or Calli Rayne. I can't wait to find out!!

One of the girls had this fun site to go to! It predicts, what you will have and how long your labor will take. I tried it and this is what I got. Hope it is true!!

Madame Zaritska's reading

Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be rainy. Your baby will arrive in the afternoon.

After a labor lasting approximately 2 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. This child will have light blue eyes and be almost bald.

But there is more. I know you imagine your baby often. You wonder if your baby is safe and healthy. Why don't you go listen to a baby's heartbeat and think soothing thoughts about your own child.

December 5/07

Well we had our ultrasound yesterday! I was so excited. It made it much more real! I think it is because I have wanted this for so long that to actually have it is surreal. I can't wait until it comes out and I can hold it and cuddle it!
