My name is Cora. I have been with my husband now for 15 years. We have two wonderful kids . we have had two ectopic pregnancy. One ectopic was before my daughter Cherish who is 13 and then we had our son Jake he is 10. We have been trying since to have a other baby. Well i was pregnant and didnt even know it, but was in alot of pain on my right side for 3 days. my husband took me into the hospital and we found out it was a other ectopic pregnancy. So i had surgery on earth day. The doctor said worse case she would have to take my left tube. Well i guess it was bad since they took it so i only have one tube. So we were surprised to find out that we are pregnant. My last lmp was Nov 15, 2007. I didn't call the doctor till jan. I thought i needed meds to start again and they since i dont always have a period. So i was on meds so i would get one a little more when i didnt i would call and get more meds to start it. They sent me for bloodwork the day i called them and they called me the next day. When they told me i was pregnant i didnt believe them. The nurse told me she booked me for a ultrasound the next week to make sure everything was okay and how far along i was. So now we can't wait to see our baby. Well i have big babies wondering if this one is going to be a three month old at birth, lol. my daughter was 9lbs 15 oz and my son was two weeks early and he was 8lbs 5oz. i was induced for both. my labour for both of them was short. after doctor broke my water my first was 3 hours 50 minutes and my second was 1 hour 50 minutes. This is our first alberta baby. both my other two we had in niagara falls, ontario where i was born.Good luck everyone and thank you for visiting my page. well my mom past away nov 7, 2007 and i finally got pregnant right after that. my mom knew all the problems i was having trying to have a other baby. i almost didnt think we would. i guess my mom was right that i would have a other.

Monday, 30 June The baby is already quite a good size already though and if they were worried about the babys lungs being ready they would give the steroids to help before they induced you. I can't believe within 10 weeks all of us should have had our babies! shirley and maya -
Monday, 30 June one of my friends dad would bring the barbq right up to the patio door in the winter and he would barbq in -40 weather but his body was kind of inside while he barbq'd outside. It was always so funny but then the house smelled for days! My dad did it once in our garage (with the garage door open) and never again. It wasnt worth it! shirley and maya -
Monday, 30 June ooh gosh Thats too much for us! LOL. We use charcoal so its also a little mroe work to start up the barbq and it takes about 30 minutes until we get a good low fire going. Its just not worth it in the winter but I give you guys credit! shirley and maya -
Monday, 30 June how the heck do you barbq in the winter?? we cant even get to our barbq in the winter with all the snow! My hubby works during the day so he isnt here to cook although even if he was home, I dont thik he would cook. He doesnt know how! shirley and maya -
Monday, 30 June My hubby just sent me a link to a fatfree ice cream by Healthy Choice LOL. I've been eating Mr.Freezies all summer and its been ok since its just water and sugar. Like I was telling you, since the surgery, I only get a small pain in my side but nothing at all compared to the attacks. I'm mostly worried about the diarreah because it seems that almost everytime I eat, I need to go about 30 minutes later. I read that its common but I'm sure that part of it is my body cleansing itself from all the meds and everything. Also, they kept giving me stool softeners at the hospital because morphene constipates and I was taking it like a drug addict. I just hope that part goes away. You're lucky that you guys already eat so healthy. My parents are super healthy and I grew up always eating home cooked food with lots of veggies. Nothing ever came prepackaged or in a box. They don;t even own a microwave! Then I got married, we were renovating and I got pregnant and felt too sick to cook, then I had her and never had time to cook and just when things were getting normal again, I got pregnant and got sick again so I havent really cooked in 2 years which is how long we've been married for! In the summer its easier though cause we barbq alot. I hope that once this baby is born and things settle again, that I can cook the way my mom did. My hubby gained about 15 lbs since being married to me but in the meantime, I'm joking around with him that he may lose weight with me if he's going to eat all this low-fat stuff!! so we'll see. shirley and maya -
Monday, 30 June wel the surgeon said that most people eventually go back to their normal diet but it takes years and there will always be certain foods that my body won't be able to tolerate - he actually mentioned that most people cant tolerate ice cream very well which was ok by me because I'm not a big ice cream person. Have you tried super light fat free salad dressing? but I know how it is, you dont even want to bother trying because the pain isnt worth it! We did some groceries yesterday and I bought everything fat-free which was hard for me to do because I never believed in all that "fat-free" crap and here I am now buying it!! As for Barbq, thats the one thing I am looking to enjoy real soon. The surgeon said baked and barbq'd are the 2 best ways of cooking for people with GB problems. I don't marinate with oil so its not a problem and I dont mind starting off with grilled chicken breat and work my way to the meat!! oh, the doc also gave me a wholeeeeeeeeeeee list of things that I can't eat for 2 months - corn, almost all green veggies, no onions, no leak, no beans and a whole bunch of other stuff. Its very sad! shirley and maya -
Monday, 30 June ya youre definitely luckier with the older kids. My biggest problem was finding a balance for my husband. Part of me wanted him with me but the other part knew that my daughter was better off with him. She was being passed around from person to person for the first 2 days and it was just too much for her so he basically stayed with me during the afternoon and then went home at night with her. If my mom was here, it would have been totally different but she's on vacation so it was harder. Anyways, like I keep telling you, just do what yuo can to hold off and do research about after-care because its not something I ever did until now and its not fun. I truly feel that my life will never be the same (eating-wise). I'll never again be able to order a whole pizza and just pig out with my husband......or go to mcd's and KFC and just order whatever I want. Its sad for me because I am/was definitely a food-lover so I feel kind of depressed about that. kourtney -
Monday, 30 June I am sooo sorry for your pain. I get my pain in the right shoulder and its hell. Well you are almost there. I had 3 attacks in may and have been ok so far. i have constant pain that I am pretty much just used to at this point. But the good news is I dont have stones and my doc said alot of women that get GB while pregnant will go away after the baby Im praying. Good luck Mama2Miaplus1 -
Monday, 30 June Hi Cora, Just read your message about maybe getting started at 35 weeks. Wow, how exciting to think you could meet your baby within the next few weeks. I hope your meds work this time and the pain stops it must be awful. shirley and maya -
Monday, 30 June how are you doing? so I guess that means you could be seeing your little one in less than a month! Thats amazing and crazy all at the same time! I totally thought I would go into labor now with the surgery and all but everything looks good but I definitely told the OB, I want him out at 38 weeks. I'm already getting uncomfortable and losing too much weight. He said he will be happy if I make it to 38 weeks so we will just take it one day at a time. I really hope you dont end up having surgery while youre pregnant. Its not pleasant at all and life really does change after the surgery. I cant eat anything. I lost 10 lbs in 6 days, was on morphene every 4 hours for 5 days. It was just really crazy and now I'm going through the diarreah stage which apperently might happen for the rest of my life. wonderful! Anyways I really pray for you that she comes out first and then you have the surgery. I wouldnt wish this on anyone.
