Starting my 14th week... second trimester- YEA!!! I went for my genetic screening last week and the woman who did the sonogram asked me if I wanted to know her guess at what the baby is... she said a girl.!?? Has anyone EVER known a sonogram to be right on the gender at 13 weeks? I thought it was supposed to be 18-20 weeks. Otherwise... all else is well. Still tired. Starting to gain a couple of pounds. Still VERY bloated- can't stand that. If anyone can get back to me on the accuracy of 13 weeks sonogram in determining the sex, that would be great. Thanks!!

Just finishing my 11th week. Trying to figure out the best way to utilize this site... which is great. Thus far, in this my 4th pregnancy, I struggle with exhaustion, bloating/gassiness, and moodiness. I haven't gained more than a pound or two, but I see big changes in my body already. I already feel "soft" and less toned- especially in my belly, but I know it is too early to blame that on the baby. Have to say, I don't want to hurry any part of this pregnancy along because it will be my last, so I want to enjoy it as much as possible, but I am looking forward to getting past the first trimester struggles. Next Dr. appointment is January 2nd. I'll be excited to know my progress since the last appointment.
