Lets see...we're in Kansas & I'm still trying to settle. I'm 24 & about to be a mom of two. I've been married for a little over 3 years & it just keeps getting better. Claire is my wild child & will do anything for a laugh. She's a daredevil & has zero fear. I'm anxious to meet Carter & see if he looks just like his Daddy, too. I can't wait to see if he'll be as crazy & fun as Claire is!I miss Taco Bueno, I'm becoming addicted to chocolate cokes, & I'm already thinking about my first drink post-baby. I'm a mixed bag. When you get in my car, you never know if you'll hear Fox News or rap music. I know almost every song by the BackYardigans & can probably sing the Wonder Pets song in my sleep. I wish I was a funny girl who could tell a good joke, but it hasn't happened yet.

Only one more week til Carter gets here!!

05/20/08: How can it be that in 12 days, my precious little baby will be 1? Is it legal for time to fly this fast? I write her letters every month & honestly, this month was the hardest. It took me longer this month to put the words on paper, to wipe the tears from my eyes. I can't believe I've been a momma for a year now! Claire is the most beautiful, precious, perfect person I've ever had in my life. More than I could have ever imagined or wanted from a baby. Carter will have the same spell over me & I can't wait for it.

06/07/08: Well, Claire's birthday has come & gone & I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I have a baby who is already one! If you asked me 6 years ago where I saw myself, my answer would not have been 24, married, a precious daughter, & a son on the way. I still can't believe that in 4 months, I will be 24 with two babies! And, I never would have thought I'd celebrate Claire's first birthday 5 1/2 months pregnant! Claire is a little hurricane. She is all over the place, into everything she can get her chubby little hands on, & making me laugh almost the entire time she's doing it. The other day she got in my dresser & somehow got a bra strap around her neck & was walking around the house with it hanging off of her neck. She says "hi, bye, mama, daddy, duh (duck), dah (dog), cak cak (quack quack), oof oof (woof woof) (AND! She uses those two phrases appropriately-if you ask her what the duck/dog says), bi (bite), eye eye (bye bye), iiiide (outside)", she waves, has the cutest laugh you've ever heard, can point out nose, ears, & occasionally mouth, when she is ready for bed, she will grab my hand & lead me to her room, can go up & down her slide by herself, loves anything to do with the outdoors, & has recently decided she loves the pool! The sweetest thing she does though, is when I ask her where baby brother is, she pats my tummy. I am so glad I have all of you girls to talk to on here & I can't believe how many of us are in the same boat right now...barely toddlers & we are doing it again! I have a feeling I have no clue what I've gotten myself into!

Hey, welp this weekend we're seeing camdyn on sunday. Saturday I am making it out into the sun at some point! thank god ambrielle has been a perfect angel with going to bed at night and naps with me. I can't believe how great its been lately. No questions asked I lay her into her crib with a bottle and she goes right to sleep. See its wonderful b/c we used a swing to put her to sleep until she was 9 almost 10 months old until our 2ND swing pooped out on us. We decided Ok she's almost one its time to give it up lol! So we did and she adjusted like a miracle. I couldn't believe it. I thought we'd have to find a swing for adults for something lol!

aww thats precious! Ive woke up this morning with a REALLY bad back..ive even had to put me support belt on! I refused to wear it before but it really does hurt alot now! Had a crappy night lastnite..shannon ended up in bed with me all night and Steven ended up in shannons bed (lucky him). She was up twistin on all night! She is teething soi cant really blame her as much as i feel i could lol! Hope all is well with u and ur family xx

My day was hell!!! LOL Liliana started a cold today and is very cranky..she did great napping but bedtime has been WORK! She went down at 8:30pm and woke up scared screaming at 10am so I took her to lay with me she tried to hard to get to sleep but just couldn't so she started dancing and bouncing on my bed. So back downstairs we went I folded the laundry and let her play well she didn't want to play without me..so at 11pm she went back down with a little more bottle then let out another cry I just listened but didn't go in and now nothing..I hope she is able to sleep well poor thing is not feeling well. That is so funny about Claire just wanting mommy I bet your sister enjoyed going anyways. If you ask Liliana where is the baby she will look down your shirt or lift it up to see some skin many times she will think your boob is the baby haha to cute. Well I hope everything is good and must have been nice to get to see Carter again and know that he is a boy no doubt about it!! Well I need some sleep..hope you get some too. Any big plans this weekend?

i know i feel like a complete nutter aswell ha! When i ask shannon where the baba is she rubs me tum n if i ask her to 'love the baba' she kisses n cuddles it! I think its amazing how she knows though but apparently kids can sense thing?! Maybe lol. Well i think we both in the 'daft' boat together..BUT i cant wait to meet the next terror..cuz they so worth it aint they! xx

You are 1 shot up on me haha I had my first 7/06 with my miscarriage. Then around 28wks with Liliana and after she was born. I do like being able to find out her blood type when she is so young though. Do you have the same doctor this time around??? Mine doesn't say anything either way they just said they want me to do the glucose, check my iron level and rhogram next appt. I could tell them it makes me feel sick and make another appt they are only like 20 mins away from me. Why 2 1/2 hours away?? Do they have you on any kind of special things with the low placenta?? Like can you do normal activity--have sex?? My natural is the druggy haze too haha no other way to go in my eyes and mind. The midwife said by 30wks the baby is usually in position. Ever since I got pregnant I have thought this one would be breech though hopefully it is nice to me and is not. I can't imagine having a c-section then having a newborn and a 14.5 month old YIKES!! I am ok my back has been killing me this pregnancy everything is happening sooner. I have swollen feet and legs and get sick easy I think cause I tend to forget to eat so busy getting Liliana food. I will be so happy when this pregnancy is over and I can meet this little one. When is your u/s?? It's almost midnight and I am still awake this is going to be torture tomorrow!!!

You are rH- too! I hate getting the rhogram shot with Liliana getting the glucose drink, taking the blood and then the shot I felt so sick afterwards. I have all that lovely stuff on 7/17 and took the day off of everything and my mom will be home to help with Liliana. How are you feeling?? I hope your u/s goes well keep me updated!! Was Claire a c-section?? I can't remember..this baby is breech right now but my midwife said often they don't go head down until 30wks..I hope that this one turns Liliana was always head down. Hope you and Claire are doing well.

I have actually been through Mannford! My brother's girlfriend used to live in Cleveland and that isn't too far away.Actually compared to a lot of other people I have had an easy pregnancy so no complaints here.The hot weather is going to be killer! How is your pregnancy.

hey there, congrats on ur pregnancy! We arekinda in the same boat, i have a beautiful 14 month old daughter called Shannon and im currently 37 weeks pregnant with my first son. (and last lol). I totaly agree with time flying over..i cant believe shannon is so big now! Im going to cherish every moment of both my kids cuz they do grow up so so quick!! xx

She actually did really well...MUCH better than I thought she was...then near bedtime, she was sooooo exhausted, but everyone was leaving by then, so it worked out! We had sooo many people in our house, but she actually shockingly went to a couple people and sat there like a good girl while we opened presents and wanted to play with all her new toys!

Oh good lord sounds like a complete bitch!! I hate when step mom's get into stuff like that. None of their business!! She's your fathers wife she shouldn't be talking about you or your mom if she was mature! Forget her, no one should even pay her mind if she tries to ruin the wedding! kick her butt out no questions asked lol! Sounds like g-ma was not all there that day! wow! Maybe she felt bad for not talking to you and decided to play dumb I dunno lol!

Hi! Thanks for responding on my page. I loved reading about how much you love your daughter. I feel the exact same way. Every little thing she does amazes me and is so special. I am also trying for baby #2 unsuccessfully so far. I believe it is because I am still nursing Faith. I am trying to wean her now. I just want to get my 2 children out of the way and love them to death! LOL. Congrats on your pregnancy and on it being a son. I would love to get pregnant with a son next. When I first gave birth to Faith I was very overwhelmed but I have adjusted. I am stress free and have adjusted to being a wife and mommie. So I know that although in the beginning a 2nd baby will feel overwhelming at first but we will adjust. Thats what everyone with kids close in age tell me.

hey, it's pretty normal for babies to grab their privet areas and pull and scratch- they are just getting used to whats there, thats all.. I dont have a little girl but my son pulls and his and stuff, But my sister does have a girl who i babysit and i started giving her a baby whip, and teaching her to whipe her self down there, now she doesn't grab or pull or anything she just takes the whipe and whipes her self, and then i say "all clean" and she hands the whipe to me.... hope that helps..
