Lets see...we're in Kansas & I'm still trying to settle. I'm 24 & about to be a mom of two. I've been married for a little over 3 years & it just keeps getting better. Claire is my wild child & will do anything for a laugh. She's a daredevil & has zero fear. I'm anxious to meet Carter & see if he looks just like his Daddy, too. I can't wait to see if he'll be as crazy & fun as Claire is!I miss Taco Bueno, I'm becoming addicted to chocolate cokes, & I'm already thinking about my first drink post-baby. I'm a mixed bag. When you get in my car, you never know if you'll hear Fox News or rap music. I know almost every song by the BackYardigans & can probably sing the Wonder Pets song in my sleep. I wish I was a funny girl who could tell a good joke, but it hasn't happened yet.

Only one more week til Carter gets here!!

05/20/08: How can it be that in 12 days, my precious little baby will be 1? Is it legal for time to fly this fast? I write her letters every month & honestly, this month was the hardest. It took me longer this month to put the words on paper, to wipe the tears from my eyes. I can't believe I've been a momma for a year now! Claire is the most beautiful, precious, perfect person I've ever had in my life. More than I could have ever imagined or wanted from a baby. Carter will have the same spell over me & I can't wait for it.

06/07/08: Well, Claire's birthday has come & gone & I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I have a baby who is already one! If you asked me 6 years ago where I saw myself, my answer would not have been 24, married, a precious daughter, & a son on the way. I still can't believe that in 4 months, I will be 24 with two babies! And, I never would have thought I'd celebrate Claire's first birthday 5 1/2 months pregnant! Claire is a little hurricane. She is all over the place, into everything she can get her chubby little hands on, & making me laugh almost the entire time she's doing it. The other day she got in my dresser & somehow got a bra strap around her neck & was walking around the house with it hanging off of her neck. She says "hi, bye, mama, daddy, duh (duck), dah (dog), cak cak (quack quack), oof oof (woof woof) (AND! She uses those two phrases appropriately-if you ask her what the duck/dog says), bi (bite), eye eye (bye bye), iiiide (outside)", she waves, has the cutest laugh you've ever heard, can point out nose, ears, & occasionally mouth, when she is ready for bed, she will grab my hand & lead me to her room, can go up & down her slide by herself, loves anything to do with the outdoors, & has recently decided she loves the pool! The sweetest thing she does though, is when I ask her where baby brother is, she pats my tummy. I am so glad I have all of you girls to talk to on here & I can't believe how many of us are in the same boat right now...barely toddlers & we are doing it again! I have a feeling I have no clue what I've gotten myself into!

hey, it's pretty normal for babies to grab their privet areas and pull and scratch- they are just getting used to whats there, thats all.. I dont have a little girl but my son pulls and his and stuff, But my sister does have a girl who i babysit and i started giving her a baby whip, and teaching her to whipe her self down there, now she doesn't grab or pull or anything she just takes the whipe and whipes her self, and then i say "all clean" and she hands the whipe to me.... hope that helps..

I read you comment about your little girl 'playing with herself'. It is a perfectly normal thing for kids to do. They are curious. Though it can be embarassing. The only real advice i have for you is to ignore it. I was talking the other day with a friend of mine b/c my older son just started doing that again. She said that her girls (9 yrs and 7yrs) will still do it sometimes while sitting and watching tv. The more of a big deal you make of it the more they will do it. Obviously as they get older you can say this isn't ok in front of people but trying to scold them or punish them will just make them feel uncomfortable about thier own bodies. JMO! Good Luck. I know it can be embarassing. My son first did it while i was changing his diaper at a party while several people where sitting there watching me change him!

Yah the heat and I are not that good together haha. I might ask to be taken off Saturday's now cause the heat but I was suppose to go until the end of June. I don't want to risk it though. Next Tuesday is my next appt. my legs and feet have been swelling but I think it is cause the heat..I have been having the BH a ton I did with Liliana too but never really noticed them ha I was so clueless. My back is bad too but they just say to relax don't stand or sit for to long I have to always be on the go with Liliana. Did they give anything for the cough? I would kinda like a storm here it is so humid and hot today like 97 I have to work the register at the carwash 3pm-8pm which shouldn't be to bad in the shade at least.

Hey!! How are you guys?? I can't believe how hot it is today just got home from the carwash its about 95 here and I dried off cars all morning I think I am done now started feeling very faint/sick. Have to go pick up Liliana but so enjoying me time!!! I hope you are having a great day and Claire is having a good day today =-)

Oh well that is so exciting!! You two will share your birthday. I have felt like blah all day too actually took a two hour nap with Liliana and still was so tired. You were all belly though which is good easier to lose I would think. Claire was a good size!! Did you carry to full term- I know I most likely have asked this before. I had Liliana at 41.1wks and she was 7lbs 9.4 oz. and 20.5inchs. I was shocked she wasn't bigger they all thought she was and an u/s at 37wks said she was 7lbs7oz then which was wrong. How is the day going? Both girls are about to nap thank god!!! It's a very rainy day here so nothing to do..

wow your belly was huge!!! How big was miss claire?? You look awesome though everywhere else you would have no idea you were having a baby...I got big in the belly but also carried it other places too. So far all belly this time still fitting in regular jeans.

I hate days like that...27 mins? Yikes!! I can only imagine that. Liliana is a pro at throwing temper tantrums. She screams and cries and puts her forehead on the floor...a lot of the time hurts herself and then comes over to me. I can't believe how big she is I found myself rocking her with her bottle at night tonight and wanted to cry my little baby is so big!! Agh freaking hormones they really drive me NUTS..I try and think about how much she can do now. It's funny you will ask her to fix her hair and she tries so hard to but only messes it up more. If anyone says hair piece forget it if she has one in it is coming out!! Also anytime someone says bye she crawls as fast as she can to the couch to look out the window and say bye..well wave mainly. Oh I could go on about her all night. Tonight when I was holding her the baby hit her like 6 times in a row she gave me such a look LOL. Well I hope today went by kinda fast and Claire takes it easy on you tomorrow. Where do you guys live again?

We are good it is heating up here too. Liliana has a little pool on our deck and she gets so excited when she sees it. I am tired..the work is starting to get to me and she is about to start walking she does squats now lol it is to cute! This morning I opened our deck door to put the stroller outside cause she was trying to climb on it turned my back to grab the stroller and where is Liliana laughing at me on the deck. She was so pleased with herself not so happy when I took her in the house though. I bet story time will be fun I have thought about going but they have it during naptime. To bad we didn't live closer we wouldn't be as bored!! Are you showing big time yet? I am having stranger just now realize I am pregnant..I am being so lazy should be doing the dishes.

yea that does make sense. I'm worried I wouldn't love my second child as much for some reason. I would fear playing favorites with ambrielle because it seems like I couldn't love much more than I already do or keep it even ya know? Your so lucky to have a boy and girl! I hope I get that lucky!

Yea i think we'll deff be able to take her. We just wanted to have a day in the sun without lugging her and her stuff around. Plus we thought it was going to rain so we didn't want to drag her down there and then it rain. Its about 40 minutes from our house now and 20 minutes from our new house. Our new house is close the lake we live near and we LOVE the lake! Well it ended up being a nice day and we got a lot of sun. I bet you are ready for him to be done with it!! You know I can imagine how different it would be the second time around....with getting ready and all. Do you still have flood of emotions and love for your unborn baby or is it different??

I know its soo funny looking but its gotten a lot better so we don't have to do the old man comb over lol!! Our weekend was good! We went to the lake saturday to this new place that has free beach access to the lake. We didn't bring Bri was we wanted to check it out first. We bought our couch yesterday!!! Aww well you both are beautiful regardless of the hairline! I never even noticed it honestly! WE should be moving in this weekend. We're supposed to close by the end of the week!! We're just having a family/friends cookout for her b-day. Not sure on the theme yet. How's life for you and the fam?
