Lets see...we're in Kansas & I'm still trying to settle. I'm 24 & about to be a mom of two. I've been married for a little over 3 years & it just keeps getting better. Claire is my wild child & will do anything for a laugh. She's a daredevil & has zero fear. I'm anxious to meet Carter & see if he looks just like his Daddy, too. I can't wait to see if he'll be as crazy & fun as Claire is!I miss Taco Bueno, I'm becoming addicted to chocolate cokes, & I'm already thinking about my first drink post-baby. I'm a mixed bag. When you get in my car, you never know if you'll hear Fox News or rap music. I know almost every song by the BackYardigans & can probably sing the Wonder Pets song in my sleep. I wish I was a funny girl who could tell a good joke, but it hasn't happened yet.

Only one more week til Carter gets here!!

05/20/08: How can it be that in 12 days, my precious little baby will be 1? Is it legal for time to fly this fast? I write her letters every month & honestly, this month was the hardest. It took me longer this month to put the words on paper, to wipe the tears from my eyes. I can't believe I've been a momma for a year now! Claire is the most beautiful, precious, perfect person I've ever had in my life. More than I could have ever imagined or wanted from a baby. Carter will have the same spell over me & I can't wait for it.

06/07/08: Well, Claire's birthday has come & gone & I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I have a baby who is already one! If you asked me 6 years ago where I saw myself, my answer would not have been 24, married, a precious daughter, & a son on the way. I still can't believe that in 4 months, I will be 24 with two babies! And, I never would have thought I'd celebrate Claire's first birthday 5 1/2 months pregnant! Claire is a little hurricane. She is all over the place, into everything she can get her chubby little hands on, & making me laugh almost the entire time she's doing it. The other day she got in my dresser & somehow got a bra strap around her neck & was walking around the house with it hanging off of her neck. She says "hi, bye, mama, daddy, duh (duck), dah (dog), cak cak (quack quack), oof oof (woof woof) (AND! She uses those two phrases appropriately-if you ask her what the duck/dog says), bi (bite), eye eye (bye bye), iiiide (outside)", she waves, has the cutest laugh you've ever heard, can point out nose, ears, & occasionally mouth, when she is ready for bed, she will grab my hand & lead me to her room, can go up & down her slide by herself, loves anything to do with the outdoors, & has recently decided she loves the pool! The sweetest thing she does though, is when I ask her where baby brother is, she pats my tummy. I am so glad I have all of you girls to talk to on here & I can't believe how many of us are in the same boat right now...barely toddlers & we are doing it again! I have a feeling I have no clue what I've gotten myself into!

Too funny about the Dr thing...men..haha! Hope she feels better soon. So sad when babies don't feel good. Glad you're feeling better too. Will you find out the sex this time? My best friends husband(he's 40)..he's a pharmacist too...actually a nuclear pharmacist.

it was really funny too. But now, what my child does...is what she's done with everyother new thing she's done...is once she does it...she won't have ANYthing to do with it for a few weeks...then she'll do it like she's done her whole life...go figure...she's literally done that with everything since birth...why would this be different!?! LOL We're in the "I want nothing to do with it" phase. How are YOU doing?? with pregnancy and claire??

congrats!! there is a lot of us. I am still in shock but it all seemed a lot more real yesterday while getting checked out with my 8 month old right next to me. Where I will get the strength is a good question..I can't believe they will be like 15 months apart!!! YIKES!!! My sister had a baby 8 wks after my daughter and I have her three times a week so I already have the diapers,double stroller and double the crying!!! How are you feeling?? This time around I am so tired and in pain..my lower back/butt I think it might be my siatica (sp?) it happened in the end of my pregnancy with my daughter..well I need to get some sleep hope all is well.

Hey girl!!! We close the end of may. We asked to close 60 days so we have additional time to say and get stuff we need :) I'm soo happy!! We did this all on our own. We've never done anything like this before without parents help!! I'm soo happy!!! We love the house soo much!!!! How's miss claira-boo?

i know! i think i would just totally pass out on the spot if they told me i was having twins..twins are on both sides of my fam..i just don't think i could handle it..i remember sitting up crying with gabe when i couldn't calm him..oh gosh, no no no..i can't imagine! i hope they call tomorrow to schedule my appointment, i will give them till noon, then i'm calling! sorry to hear your claire is sick..my hubby brought in a bug last week and gabe started coughing a bit sev days ago, last night it was really bad..he isn't running a fever yet..i'm sure i will get it next..usually when i get sick i have it for twice as long as my hubby..i have a horrible immune system..gabe got over the last one in 3 days, i had it for 2 weeks!
i have to take gabe for his 9 mo appointment tomorrow, i doubt they will give him a med..he usually tells me to run the vaporizer and plenty of fluids..they are gonna have to catch him up on one of his vaccines as well. i have avoided morning sickness so far..i had it in the evenings with gabe, but i don't think it started to around 8 weeks..i will be 8 weeks tomorrow. does anything help yours?..i know i have a recipe for ginger tea that really helped me when i had it..if you want it let me know..i know how awful you must feel. Happy easter!

we are doing well..i called monday to make a doc appointment and he is out of the office on spring break until monday!..so, they are supposed to call me and schedule me an appointment then..i really can't wait! i will be 8 weeks on monday..thats what i think anyway :) i have had several dreams that i am having twins..i think i would straight up pass out. i just want to get in and make sure every thing is okay. i really dread the bloodwork..i think they took about 7 vials of blood when i was preg with gabe..i'm such a baby about needles.
how are you guys doing? gabe is 9 months old today.

Yeah, I hadn't planned on going too early with Regan either, but then I spotted on the same day as I lost my first..so I went in immediately! lol. It won't be too long before you can find out boy/girl...will you be finding out?

I know...well, my dad/stepmom/bro/sis still came over and we ordered pizza. So it was fine. One more month to anticipate...I'd rather him well than sick. So wow, week 12..you may be feeling movement soon. I felt Regan really early...first time between week 12-13.

OH yea we really missed her a lot. I didn't know .I had a feeling in the beginning she was a boy and we only had a boy named picked out for a long time then we found out. I mean I wasn't shocked or anything I knew it was 50/50 soooo I guess I just hoped it would be a boy for cory but I know now he would never change her sex for the world. She is going to get everything she wants from him I'm not kidding...it could be a problem...I always wanted a girl but I wanted him to be happy since it was a surprise and all and I knew he probably wanted a boy even though he would never say.

I know that this sounds completely crazy, but the best thing I've found to get EVERYTHING out of carpets, is Windex! Spray it on, let it set for a minute, then dab it up! However, I've never tried to clean up baby poop! lol. I hope it works! It worked on the vomit from Lily! lol. Good luck

oh no...did you get it up? Maybe try peroxide/water mix. That got some stains out for us. It did do anything to the carpet...but you can try it a small hidden spot to make sure yourself...but it didn't for us and it worked...just an idea to throw out there for you. it's been a little chilly here but nice..it'll be warming up very soon! It ended up being very nice yesterday. Regan loves it outside.

I, nor my husband, are picky eaters...and neither is Regan, she'll eat whatever we give her.But I don't like coleslaw...whats funny is I'll eat everything that is IN coleslaw..but I don't like coleslaw..go figure. I know what you mean about being 'sad'...I just can't believe 23 went by so fast...I just turned 23..I was 7 months pregnant at the time...now, I'm almost 24(on march 23-easter sun)...and Regan is almost 1. But I couldn't be more excited too..b/c my b'day present is going to Elton John..so what could beat that?!!? my dream concert...happy b'day to me.
