Lets see...we're in Kansas & I'm still trying to settle. I'm 24 & about to be a mom of two. I've been married for a little over 3 years & it just keeps getting better. Claire is my wild child & will do anything for a laugh. She's a daredevil & has zero fear. I'm anxious to meet Carter & see if he looks just like his Daddy, too. I can't wait to see if he'll be as crazy & fun as Claire is!I miss Taco Bueno, I'm becoming addicted to chocolate cokes, & I'm already thinking about my first drink post-baby. I'm a mixed bag. When you get in my car, you never know if you'll hear Fox News or rap music. I know almost every song by the BackYardigans & can probably sing the Wonder Pets song in my sleep. I wish I was a funny girl who could tell a good joke, but it hasn't happened yet.
Only one more week til Carter gets here!!
06/07/08: Well, Claire's birthday has come & gone & I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I have a baby who is already one! If you asked me 6 years ago where I saw myself, my answer would not have been 24, married, a precious daughter, & a son on the way. I still can't believe that in 4 months, I will be 24 with two babies! And, I never would have thought I'd celebrate Claire's first birthday 5 1/2 months pregnant! Claire is a little hurricane. She is all over the place, into everything she can get her chubby little hands on, & making me laugh almost the entire time she's doing it. The other day she got in my dresser & somehow got a bra strap around her neck & was walking around the house with it hanging off of her neck. She says "hi, bye, mama, daddy, duh (duck), dah (dog), cak cak (quack quack), oof oof (woof woof) (AND! She uses those two phrases appropriately-if you ask her what the duck/dog says), bi (bite), eye eye (bye bye), iiiide (outside)", she waves, has the cutest laugh you've ever heard, can point out nose, ears, & occasionally mouth, when she is ready for bed, she will grab my hand & lead me to her room, can go up & down her slide by herself, loves anything to do with the outdoors, & has recently decided she loves the pool! The sweetest thing she does though, is when I ask her where baby brother is, she pats my tummy. I am so glad I have all of you girls to talk to on here & I can't believe how many of us are in the same boat right now...barely toddlers & we are doing it again! I have a feeling I have no clue what I've gotten myself into!

I am not joking either! Oh he needs preemie diapers what a little peanut. So what things did you try to get him here? I am going to start walking more I am feeling as though the baby in dropping but not sure if it is wishful thinking. I am really hoping I am dialated a little bit on Thursday so I am able to have my membranes swept. My back is getting horrible..I hope my back labor pain is not to bad. Do you mind me asking prescription?? For what?? Oh and are you breastfeeding the little guy or bottles??? Ohh Cara I am sorry I hate when they are like that. They have no idea what it does to us. Right now that is how Liliana is with Damian about 95% he gets so angry. This moring she made his day because she let him kiss her goodbye because he kissed me. So now I have a feeling he will be using me
I hope that Claire takes it easy on you today. We have to go buy a pillow today cause Liliana is really into mine when she sleeps with me. I have my 37wk check up 9/11 thursday and then hopefully can make one for 9/18 and they will check me then and fingers crossed sweep my membranes. Listen to us all excited even though we know all the pain that is ahead but such an amazing outcome. I can't believe you are so close..a week away or less? I am thinking boy also but who knows I only seem to come up with girl names..my top two right now are Madelyn or Madalyn(not sure about the spelling..I think I like the e one) and the other name is Jordyn. Which originally I thought Jordan but I think I like it with the y making it different. Then boys haha WHO KNOWS
I bet Liliana will be so excited about her package! She loves getting to help with the mail. Anything from babiesrus she takes right away and if a baby is sleeping in the picture she will put her finger to her mouth and give me a serious look! she is so funny! cait - Tuesday, 9 September
Thank you I will also be thinking of you guys on Wednesday. I can't believe how soon you will be holding your little guy. When I was in labor with Liliana they broke my water I am so glad I was at the hospital for that haha what a mess!! It was my biggest fear during my pregnancy that it would happen in public this time around it isn't that much on my mind. I have had a lot of little hits of contractions that I didn't with Liliana..I think my body is mad at me

The younger one is 3 and he is going to preschool the sametime as his big brother. I will still watch them just not my regular times. The break for now is nice. When preggo with Liliana I watched them up until the last minute I was suppose to be there 7/20 but was in labor. The time they have free now is when I have Kayla so we will do some nights and what not so I can see get to see them. I am sleeping horribly...last night I was up until 2am the baby was trying to strech out haha no room left though. I finally fall asleep and wake up at 5:30am to Liliana crying her scared cry. So I get up and go down..I think she was scared of the dark so I put a little light on and some
music and back to la-la land she went. I went back to bed and had horrible cramping like I pulled a muscle took a half hour to get back to sleep. ARH I can't wait to not be pregnant!!!This week is pretty busy but not at the same time..9/9- Damian has two meeting one here but the other downtown Boston that I will have to drive him too
9/10- Liliana meets with the cardiologist to have her heart looked at..I am sure she is ok but getting scared/nervous. Then 9/11 I have my group b strep appt and talk to the midwife to check she will strip my membranes next week. After that we have down time but 9/14 Kayla is a year old and its her party. I am hoping in two weeks we can have everything ready just in case but watch I will go late this time too just my luck!I hope that Claire's appointment does well and that you are able to get things moving for yourself. Have they mentioned how they plan on doing the induction?? Just pitocin??

How are you feeling??? You are so close...I am ready for this baby to come out and show me the goods!! haha I want to know what it is so badly now the same as when I was at the end with Lili.
Any big plans this week?? I am now done watching the boys the oldest one who was Liliana's age when I started watching him is now going to kindergarten..I am in shock!! Where has the time gone? Well I hope you are all ready and getting to relax a little bit before having two to take care of...talk about overwhelming!

gabe yanks everything off the hangers too! if its in his reach, he will grab it lol!..he must have been tired, because he is already asleep! i'm glad..he is in such a better mood if he takes an evening nap. He just melts my heart with the little things he is doing now..isn't it crazy how fast they are learning here lately?..he tries to help pick up his toys now..he will help us put them in the box, but ofcourse right after, he wants to pull them back out. yesterday he brought me a grape peel..sev hrs after he had grapes..he was holding it for later in his cheek..he likes to bring me things now. he has always did this little booty bop dance but here lately he is really starting to get down and develope some unique moves..i have got to get him on video. it is hilarious! he is finally getting a bit affectionate. esp if he accidently hits us with his hand or a toy..he will immediately try to hug us and make it better :)
