Lets see...we're in Kansas & I'm still trying to settle. I'm 24 & about to be a mom of two. I've been married for a little over 3 years & it just keeps getting better. Claire is my wild child & will do anything for a laugh. She's a daredevil & has zero fear. I'm anxious to meet Carter & see if he looks just like his Daddy, too. I can't wait to see if he'll be as crazy & fun as Claire is!I miss Taco Bueno, I'm becoming addicted to chocolate cokes, & I'm already thinking about my first drink post-baby. I'm a mixed bag. When you get in my car, you never know if you'll hear Fox News or rap music. I know almost every song by the BackYardigans & can probably sing the Wonder Pets song in my sleep. I wish I was a funny girl who could tell a good joke, but it hasn't happened yet.

Only one more week til Carter gets here!!

05/20/08: How can it be that in 12 days, my precious little baby will be 1? Is it legal for time to fly this fast? I write her letters every month & honestly, this month was the hardest. It took me longer this month to put the words on paper, to wipe the tears from my eyes. I can't believe I've been a momma for a year now! Claire is the most beautiful, precious, perfect person I've ever had in my life. More than I could have ever imagined or wanted from a baby. Carter will have the same spell over me & I can't wait for it.

06/07/08: Well, Claire's birthday has come & gone & I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I have a baby who is already one! If you asked me 6 years ago where I saw myself, my answer would not have been 24, married, a precious daughter, & a son on the way. I still can't believe that in 4 months, I will be 24 with two babies! And, I never would have thought I'd celebrate Claire's first birthday 5 1/2 months pregnant! Claire is a little hurricane. She is all over the place, into everything she can get her chubby little hands on, & making me laugh almost the entire time she's doing it. The other day she got in my dresser & somehow got a bra strap around her neck & was walking around the house with it hanging off of her neck. She says "hi, bye, mama, daddy, duh (duck), dah (dog), cak cak (quack quack), oof oof (woof woof) (AND! She uses those two phrases appropriately-if you ask her what the duck/dog says), bi (bite), eye eye (bye bye), iiiide (outside)", she waves, has the cutest laugh you've ever heard, can point out nose, ears, & occasionally mouth, when she is ready for bed, she will grab my hand & lead me to her room, can go up & down her slide by herself, loves anything to do with the outdoors, & has recently decided she loves the pool! The sweetest thing she does though, is when I ask her where baby brother is, she pats my tummy. I am so glad I have all of you girls to talk to on here & I can't believe how many of us are in the same boat right now...barely toddlers & we are doing it again! I have a feeling I have no clue what I've gotten myself into!

It was a good weekend just went to fast. Yesterday was pretty lazy for us Damian went fishing with my BIL at 7am and Liliana and I didn't get up until 9:30am which was great!! Then I actually took her by my ex-b/f's house his family has been dying to meet her and he is out of town so I figured why not and had Damian's OK too. She had a blast and loved his 15 year old sister. Then off to a bbq. Liliana and Kayla ran around the yard a bunch and got so tired. I can't believe it took two hours to get your tire fixed. I am so bitchy lately I have to take a deep breath before going anywhere or talking to anyone. My sister told me that the last month with Liliana I was the same. Today we babysat the boys and now my mom said she will watch Liliana so I can take a nap my eyes are closing.

thanks, thats a good idea! I hear a lot of good things about it too and its approved by the FDA. See I just don't knkow which websites are advertising versus actually reviewing the pill. I just need a kick start to weight loss and then I'll get really motivated.

Wow, claire did make out good with all those new clothes! I need to go clothes shopping for gabe too. I haven't wanted to get out for the past few weeks at all..its been so hot here and i last time i took gabe somewhere by myself i nearly passed out in kohls. Seems like i get lightheaded this time around even more than i did with gabe. Didn't you say claire got 5 shots! gesh, do they get that many this time? gabes appt is the 24th i think. I dread it..i always have to take him by myself and i hate having to hold his legs when they poke him..i may have keith take off to go with me this time...gabe is being entertained by the wonderpets at the moment..that ming ming seriously irks me lol..seems like everything is aggravating or annoying to me these days! i know i had said that i hope aiden stays in full term..think i have changed my mind! i'm ready to get this mess over with as soon as he's healthy enough to get out!

Hey! I thought I would write you now that I have a chance and miss liliana is still sleeping. Did you guys have a good weekend? I hope you were able to relax a bit..I got to sleep late two days but that was about it. I seem to have forgotten with Liliana I could not sleep the last month of my pregnancy but am being reminded of it now. I am 36wks tomorrow and the past two night have slept maybe 8 hours total..goodness I hope this little one will come out at 38wks but who am I kidding not like I will get ANY sleep then

My weekend has been busy but relaxing at the same time. We have two rooms upstairs one is currently my bedroom and has been for the 12 years I have lived here lol the other room which is a little smaller has been the storage room for YEARS! Well its getting a make over..the carpet was taking out(very old and gross) everything got painted and Damian and I will be moving over and letting Liliana and her sibling take over our room which does not need that much work done just a coat of paint for now then maybe new carpet when we get taxes back

Having everything ready though I am not even close. I have got Liliana some fall clothes. We need to pick up the crib we are getting from the family I watch then dresser and matress need to be bought then moving all the rooms around.

talk about a lot to do but I am guessing I have atleast two week most likely a month though!

how are you doing? i know you can't wait to have carter. hope you are feeling well..i'll be 31 weeks tomorrow! whoot! the closer i get to when gabe was born the nuttier i get ! i've got all aidens clothes washed up and in the dresser ready for him..i have 6 packs of diapers that we had left over from gabe that target wouldn't let us return..was pissed for awhile about that but seems its gonna work out now! i am so ready for my ultrasound..i want to see this baby again.

..what are you guys doing for the holiday? i think we are going to a cookout at keiths fams..today i told keith we were taking gabe to the park..so he is gonna be forced to get off the couch and put on some friggin clothes

Don't you just love not gaining any weight!! That is great news about your placenta and Carter is a good size. Did they give you exercises to do to try and make him not sunny side up?? Liliana was sunny side up and they say it makes it more painful/difficult!! My day did get better. I am just so tired of trying to clean and feel like I get no where. Then Damian will complain which is the most annoying. If I could move myself around easier and faster I could get so much more done! Agh men just don't get it. My next appt. is 9/11 37wks--I will get group b strep then the next week they will check and maybe sweep my membranes by then you should have little Carter in your arms

How did your appointment go??? I am having a day from hell just feel like screaming at the top of my lungs. Good thing is Liliana is all better but just being one year old. When does it usually cool down around you?? I could not even imagine being in eat like that and people thinking that you had a easy summer YIKES!!!!

The appointment went well thanks!! I told my midwife I think this baby is big she said I measured big last check up but I am on target this time. Also she said at 38wks they will check me and see if they can sweep my membranes to help things along cause I told her I am sick and tired of being pregnant!!! So I am hoping that I am hoping my check up at 38wks I have some great news. You will already have Carter..you are being induced on 9/16?? Liliana was great for me at the exam I was so proud of her. My next appointment I have the group b strep I have to call to book it I needed to check the day cause that is the week I am taking Liliana to the cardiologist. Any big plans for tomorrow???

i don't know what my doc is thinking. he said after the ultrasound, if the baby was big or had a big melon head, we would discuss our options. he said he wouldn't do a c section if he didn't feel it was neccessary. he said second babies are easier blah blah blah...i understand that, but i'm still freaked out at the thought of going through that mess again..and i don't care what he says, he can't gaurantee it won't happen again..you have a doc appt tomorrow, right?

our weekend was good! gabe has been pretty good the past few days. i just got back from my doc visit and he said i was measuring 32 weeks!..he said he was gonna do an u/s between 34-36 weeks to check the baby's size. i can tell he isn't gonna give me a c section like i had assumed he would. i just started bawling once i got out to my car..i understand what he told me, and it makes sense..but, i just have this fear of going through the same thing i did with gabe..and i know he can't promise me the vacuum won't be used again..it was truly the most horrifying experience of my life...he said the only way he would do one is if the baby was large or had a giant gabe head..i don't think the baby is gonna be large and his head was normal size at 20wks..i'm freaked out now..i've been cleaning alot too..i got out gabes papasan swing and co sleeper yesterday and got them washed and ready to go..i wanna get a new dresser before aiden gets here..i feel like there is still so much to do before i'll feel ready lol!

So far Liliana is having a better day to me she feels warm but her temp is normal. It is so cold today not even 60 degrees yet..I know I shouldn't be complaining better then being in the 90's. I have a doctors appointment today and was counting on not having Liliana with me but my mom needs to take care of my aunt for my uncle. Hopefully she will be a great mood..fingers crossed!!! I am due Oct. 1st so if I go before or on my due date then great but if I am late that might be a little tricky. My sister said she would babysit though so just depends when this little one decides to come and meet everyone.

My evening has been actually pretty good. Liliana's temp was down to 99.8 before she went to bed. So hopefully this is the end of it. All in all she has been great though for her morning nap I took her upstairs with me to my bed she watched TV for not even 5 mins and was passed out. I hate that she is sick but love her wanting to snuggle with me. Poor Claire I bet her gums are killing her I wish the teeth come in could speed up. Do you clean the house everyday?? I give you credit my back kills me most days I get in maybe 3 hours or cleaning and never am finished which is annoying. I completely agree with you about packing for things I never did pack with Liliana just gave my mom and Damian a list of things to get me. Her stuff was packed for months though. Our weekend was short and Lili wasn't herself... I can't believe how soon you will be holding Carter!! I hope I am not far behind you I am going to try and go to one of my best friends weddings on October 12th but who knows if I will make it.

About being stuck on "momma" that is to funny since yesterday all Liliana has been saying is "mommmmmmmmyyyyyyyyy" about anything and everything screamed it over and over in the store!!! This morning though she said "mommmmyyyy milk" which I am not sure if she did it on purpose but I was so PROUD of her. I am so excited that Carter could come so soon..a little jealous but so happy for you. I have to call and switch my next appointment I forgot I am watching the boys..What is going on with you girls and carter today?? With in the first three hours of being awake this morning I had to deal with two blood clean ups..Kayla fell and bit her lip pretty good the poor thing landed perfectly but her teeth got in the way...then maybe an hour later Liliana dropped a soda can on her toe and it split open bleeding and bruised right away the poor girls hopefully after there naps it is a much smoother day!

gabe was asleep when my dad got here..he got about a 30 min nap at least..he was okay with him..gabe wakes up fussy. it takes him about 20 mins before he will even play!..as for the strep test..if it turns out you have to get on antibiotics, you can get put on them now, in pill form to treat it..so that won't be bad. it was just that they hadn't tested me for it yet in the doc office, so when i got to the hospital they had to give it to me in i.v. to be safe..it just burns like a beast. i hope i make it to 36 weeks this time..i'm really hoping i make it past..i'm having a "not ready for him to be here day" already! i think keith is starting to get nervous too. his friends wife went into labor yesterday and i guess it brought back memories for him and got him to thinking about things lol!..also..keith has also been offered more hrs at work..which is good and bad..we need the money, but that will put him getting home even later! prob around 7:30-8! gabe goes to bed by 8..thats fine now, but when the baby gets here..i'll be wishing i had his help...gabe slept in again this morning! its 7:45 and he just woke! hopefully this becomes a habit. he still wants 2 naps a day too..but they are getting shorter.

i've been meaning to ask..has your doc did the beta strep test on you yet? i always forget to ask at my appt when we get that..i figure its after 36 wks cause i never made it that far with gabe so they had to give me an antibiotic iv in the hosp...it sucked hard! felt like liquid fire..don't want that again..i'm a wuss.

My week has been living hell to put it nicely

The weekend was nice to get away but Liliana got a slight fever while we were away I think because of her shots now her molars are coming in the poor thing is not a happy camper! She has been testing my limits too. The highlight of the weekend was sitting by the fire making smores and getting to ride the ATV. How is your week going? Is Claire being easy on you at all?? I love Carter's bedding it looks great!!

gabe was 6.5 at 36 weeks..he would have been an 8+ pound baby by my due date! i know you've got to be miserable at this point..i am getting there fast! do you have everything ready? i've been cleaning like crazy already, i know its early for that, but i keep thinking i'm gonna be prepared if he comes early this time. as for today, my dad is coming for a visit..last week when he and my mom came down, gabe screamed and cried..he's not around them enough to remember them i guess. made my dad feel bad. the bad thing is gabe isn't wanting to take a nap yet(he actually slept till 7 this morn! yay!) and dad will be here at nap time, so he may be a monster anyway lol!
