Lets see...we're in Kansas & I'm still trying to settle. I'm 24 & about to be a mom of two. I've been married for a little over 3 years & it just keeps getting better. Claire is my wild child & will do anything for a laugh. She's a daredevil & has zero fear. I'm anxious to meet Carter & see if he looks just like his Daddy, too. I can't wait to see if he'll be as crazy & fun as Claire is!I miss Taco Bueno, I'm becoming addicted to chocolate cokes, & I'm already thinking about my first drink post-baby. I'm a mixed bag. When you get in my car, you never know if you'll hear Fox News or rap music. I know almost every song by the BackYardigans & can probably sing the Wonder Pets song in my sleep. I wish I was a funny girl who could tell a good joke, but it hasn't happened yet.

Only one more week til Carter gets here!!

05/20/08: How can it be that in 12 days, my precious little baby will be 1? Is it legal for time to fly this fast? I write her letters every month & honestly, this month was the hardest. It took me longer this month to put the words on paper, to wipe the tears from my eyes. I can't believe I've been a momma for a year now! Claire is the most beautiful, precious, perfect person I've ever had in my life. More than I could have ever imagined or wanted from a baby. Carter will have the same spell over me & I can't wait for it.

06/07/08: Well, Claire's birthday has come & gone & I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I have a baby who is already one! If you asked me 6 years ago where I saw myself, my answer would not have been 24, married, a precious daughter, & a son on the way. I still can't believe that in 4 months, I will be 24 with two babies! And, I never would have thought I'd celebrate Claire's first birthday 5 1/2 months pregnant! Claire is a little hurricane. She is all over the place, into everything she can get her chubby little hands on, & making me laugh almost the entire time she's doing it. The other day she got in my dresser & somehow got a bra strap around her neck & was walking around the house with it hanging off of her neck. She says "hi, bye, mama, daddy, duh (duck), dah (dog), cak cak (quack quack), oof oof (woof woof) (AND! She uses those two phrases appropriately-if you ask her what the duck/dog says), bi (bite), eye eye (bye bye), iiiide (outside)", she waves, has the cutest laugh you've ever heard, can point out nose, ears, & occasionally mouth, when she is ready for bed, she will grab my hand & lead me to her room, can go up & down her slide by herself, loves anything to do with the outdoors, & has recently decided she loves the pool! The sweetest thing she does though, is when I ask her where baby brother is, she pats my tummy. I am so glad I have all of you girls to talk to on here & I can't believe how many of us are in the same boat right now...barely toddlers & we are doing it again! I have a feeling I have no clue what I've gotten myself into!

I always have said I never want to be pregnant in the summer and look at me here again LOL. I wanted a winter or spring baby but here I am with my summer baby which was not that hard because August is the hardest but now to have to be preggo the whole summer chasing Claire around ooo boy! I would love to have a planned pregnancy that must be nice lol both my loves are such surprises the best gifts though!! Isn't it funny how they act so silly infront of their daddy's?? Damian was hung over yesterday and was laying on the couch and Liliana woke up from nap and normally she will hit whoever is lying down or sleeping but she left him alone like she knew he was hurting. We ended up going to the park yesterday which was a blast- I posted pics on myspace. Today looks like a relaxed day at home I slept in until 9:30am Damian had Liliana and now he is fishing with my sisters husband so she is going to come up and the kids can play in the pool. To get the whole weekend off was great but it is crappy weather here cloudy and looks like it could rain. Damian also needs to cut the grass big time looks like a jungle LOL. I have to start getting things ready for Liliana's birthday party too I hate waiting until last minute..Well enjoy taking it easy

We didn't go to the fireworks this year. We spent the day outside she played so much we had our first experience with chalk. She LOVED it. Everyone was worried about her putting it in her mouth and coloring all over her dress but she was happy and it is non toxic so I let her. Of course I would say yuck or eww when it was near her mouth but her face said she thought so too. I was shocked when they did the shot in my arm cause I thought it needed to be in your butt. I can just picture Claire being so bored with the singer and the band and passing out. Did she like what she did see with the fireworks? I am going to take Liliana next year I was to tired to go and her father was drunk along with everyone else!!! Now he is sitting on the couch hungover hahaha idiot! Now I think after Liliana wakes up from nap maybe we will do something special her and mommy or go see her cousin..Claire is a trooper staying up that late. Liliana finally fell asleep with her light on but at 11pm I got her and made her come sleep upstairs with me..damian didn't have his house key and a friend was bringing him home and her room is downstairs. I get so scared about people coming in and stealing her I know I am probably over doing it but she loved snuggling. Any big plans today? Is Chase home or working?

Sorry about the 3hr test that must have been so tough. Did you have Claire with you too?? For the rhogram shot do they shot your butt?? When I had the m/c it was my butt and after Liliana also but in the office it was my arm. It is never fun. I felt so sick after the shot with the glucose last year I made my appointment so I wont have Liliana cause I don't think I could handle both. How was your 4th?? Mine was ok just bbq at my sisters it is now 10pm Damian is still over there and I am home with Liliana awake still I think. Anytime I turned off the light she screams like she is scared so I left it on and she is quiet reading a book hopefully sleeping soon I am soooooo tired!! Hope you guys have a great weekend!

Oh wow the big 3 hour is today...good luck!! I hope you pass with flying colors =) Do you have the long drive for all your appt.?? So this morning I was a little behind getting Liliana ready for her morning nap and while I was making her bottle she climbed in the laundry basket filled with the laundry that needs to be washed to get her pacifier and of course oso. I ran and got a picture and will post it in a little bit she is to funny though. Like come on mama I am tired..Well let me know how it goes I have my regular glucose test a week from today and my rhogram shot. Can't wait until its over..

lol, love this pic. She's just chillen :) Ambrielle started climbing yesterday. She was in her room playing and I went into our room for a second. I came back in and she was standing on her chair. She also climbed the stairs yesterday lol. I guess she just got the courage to try. Thankfully at our new house we don't have stairs so I can relax a bit....

I know what you mean about not really buying anything for baby #2. This time with Liliana I had everything ready for her clothes washed folded and set to go. I have only 3 pj's I have got so far. I have a lot of green,yellow, and white newborn things though because we didn't find out the sex with her either. I feel bad with this child though that I wont be able to give as much to them as I have been able to give to Liliana. I know I will love them the same but it will take a lot to adjust to having another little one. We are using the pack n play and a bassinet for the baby until about 3-5 months when we have the room they will share ready then we will buy a crib now it will be in the way. Thanks about the picture she is so funny that is how she gets ready for nap when she is tired she only wanted to sit with grandma too. Can you believe we are in the last part of this pregnancy??? YIKES!! I am scared,excited and thinking I wonder will this one look anything like me haha

That is so cute, Cara. What a great story to tell her when she gets older. Liliana is the same when I say where is oso she drops down to crawl as fast as she can to her crib in search for him. I was never really attached to anything when I was little but my sister was maybe cause I was the baby and to busy copying my sister. Now will Carter have a pink or blue??

I just saw your comment about Max and Ruby and I had to laugh! That is on everyday when we I get home from work and I cringe everytime I hear "Max and Ruby....Ruby and Max." Of course Anna loves it! I would totally kick Ruby's a$$ if she was my sister!!! By the way, Claire is such a cutie!!

Yeah, they are mailing me a diet that I have to follow for 3 days then on the 4th day I go in there at 8am to drink the stuff and then have my blood drawn at 11am. Gosh...I dont know what I'd do if I had to drive 2 hours to my dr appointments. What are you gonna do when you have to go to the dr every week??? I'm going to be a VERY UNHAPPY preggo for those 3 days on a special diet! UGGGHHH!!! And EVEN MORE UNHAPPY if I actually have gb.

The mini-trips will be taking Liliana to the beach for the first time!! I can't wait to see how she likes the sand should be interesting because she hates the grass. Also we were going to try and go to storyland its one state up from us but we aren't sure because of all the traffic because the 4th so we may just do the beach and pond. Liliana just cut through her first top tooth I felt in her mouth and couldn't believe it another tooth!!! So this makes three. Don't you hate when you have no energy and they have enough for like 5 people haha. I went to target tonight to get maternity clothes because I never really got summer ones with Liliana and found Claire's shoes and got a pair for Liliana! Do you guys have the yard to have a kiddie pool set up for Claire?? Liliana gets so tired with like an hour of throwing the toys in the pool and then out again I just get to relax with my feet in the pool and try and get a tan! Well hope you are able to get some rest..tomorrow is such a busy day for me working from 8am-8pm looking forward to the weekend so much!!

I can only imagine the fear that must have ran through you with all that going on. I am so glad you are all OK and nothing to serious happened. Yesterday actually went by a lot faster then I thought which was nice I hadn't worked 8 hours straight in a long time but the paycheck will be nice! I am so looking forward to Wednesday night because then I have nothing until Tuesday morning would love to be going away but I will be taking Liliana on little mini trips. Well it is pool time. How is your day going??

well we haven't actually stayed there yet. Tonite will be our first night. Our power is being cut on today sometime. It was supposed to come on friday but we didn't turn off the mainbreaker b/c we didn't know. Oh I bet, I'd be scared to get stiches, I've never gotten them that I actually remember except birth but the epi pretty much took care of that. Well we've gotta get the request for review out today express mail b/c its gotta get to richmond and we want to make sure it gets there. I have no clue when he'll get the supoena for court for the joint custody / visitation.

I don't remember this problem with Ben either. I think he was lower than this one. It just feels like he's running out of room already and we've got 13 weeks left. Hopefully I'll go early with him like I did with Ben.
Is Claire moving to a big girl bed?? I'm so scared to move Ben to a big boy bed...He is a wild sleeper! Not to mention I don't know if he'd actually stay in his bed.

When I got to the Dr I asked her about it and she said that they don't carry them on hand because they have a short shelf life and they are unsure as to how many to keep on hand. Not to mention that they have to pay those costs out of pocket because the drs in that practice aren't paid by a hospital they supply all of their own things. I guess once she explained it all it made more sense. I just had to pay the pharmacy out of pocket and then turn in the receipts to my insurance company to get reimbursed because Rhogam isn't covered under injectable prescriptions, but is covered under medical. I dont know.. nor do I care as long as I get my money back lol

So how are you doing?? I seriously feel like this child is nesting in my ribs, I have a hard time getting up and moving because I feel like he's so high up and I'm not even big...yet! We finally finished the babys room! I'm excited...now I'm ready for September to get here already!

HAHAHA I can so just picture Claire. Only things Liliana will watch in mickey mouse and choo choo soul the mini show. If she hears them coming on she will go as fast as she can usually crawling but walking to and come and dance like crazy. I hope she can always dance like she does. As for relaxing not really Damian let me sleep until 8:30am this morning which was awesome cause she was up at 6am. Now she is napping and I am heading into work..good thing is I have all next weekend off!!! I keep reminding myself that. How are you feeling? You chin? Knee? Did Claire stop running when you fell?? Hope you have a good sunday!

Sometimes I feel a bit guilty coz new baby will be here soon an Lilly is still only a baby coz this is my smallest gap, should be fine though :) once new borns are fed etc they usually just sit in their seat or basket so hopefully can still be there as much as I can for Lilly xxx
