...so let me pen down whats going on in here...
This is our first Baby...and both of us (As a gud first -time expectant parents) are going through all kind of mixed feelings...still motivated with lots of happiness 'n joy.
Sometime it just feels so simple 'n natural as our parent wud have experienced about us when they wud have been through this phase as we are today...
Bringing a life to life and nurturing them to give rise to a new life have always been there-but in essence We are only experiencing it Just Now..as we sail through these Week# 'n # of Days count cycle everyday... thinking of if whats happening in there . Advance medical Science has made it possible for us to see through that round growing tummy which has always been a mystery prior to this 'n used to buldge only after a heavy meal of fav dishes :)

In couple of days- it will further enable us to know if its 'he or she' that we need to take care of and will be entitled to be a proud 'momma-papa...'
We just wish that in this journey of being 'Parents' - we can as be as good as possible for new ones for whom we become a mean n gateway to see this beautiful world.

Glad to hear all went well! And CONGRATS your your baby girl - I have to admit I'm a teeny bit jealous. Thats' what we (and I mean everyone around! LOL) thought and had been semi-planning for. But the most important thing isn't boy or girl but healthy and no problems.

Hi clp - the Level II ultrasound is different in they spend lots of time looking at & measuring everything. It took over an hour. And the quality of the pictures are better than the usual ultrasounds but not nearly as good as the Level 3 & 4 ones. My AFP results were great, so the u/s was just to confirm. I'm sure everything will be fine with your little one. Keep me posted :-)

Hello!!!!! good news!! Perfectly healthy baby...and beautiful...there is a light to every bit of darkness...because we got the 'bad' AFP and went to genetic counseling this morning and had the Level II, we got to have a 4 D ultrasound!!!! Amazing...the baby looks just like my husband, and is in perfect shape...these ultrasounds are amazing,it's like someone unzipped my belly and just started snapping photos..so, look forward to that, and think positive!!! (easier said than done, i've been awake since 2AM!) I know what your going thru.. and will say some prayers that your outcome is as wonderful as ours! Good luck, and keep me posted~!

Hi clp;
We had the ultrasound yesterday; thank God everything showed normal, the baby
looked fine and normal, so we decided not to do the amnio.
I met two ladies one of them is been told that her afp was + and the ultrasound came back abnormal, they told her the baby didn’t look good, she refused to do the amnio and after 4 months of crying (she didn’t even get to take pictures or enjoy her pregnancy), the baby was born just fine nothing but healthy, now the little girl is 2 years old and she is a happy healthy little girl.
The other lady had a + afp that was very high and her ultrasound showed normal, the baby looked fine, so she didn’t do the amnio either and after that the baby was born healthy he is a cute little one he is 5 months old, so cute and happy So now I’m just going to let nature take it’s course and enjoy this pregnancy.

hey..thanks for the comment...i do know what ur going thru too..i am also waiting for my second level ultrasound appt...im trying to think positive but theres always that thought in the back of your head..and im sure you have it too...so good luck to you and i'll keep you posted as long as you do the same for me:-D
