My cousin's wedding was at 5 too. You'll have a great time! Bummer about your Mom wanting to leave - maybe next time just your Dad can come by to see you and Luca so he doesn't have to leave so early...
Charlie is asleep on the couch right now and Alyssa is sleeping in her bouncy seat (has been since 8:45). Matthew went down at 8:30 and I am enjoying some quiet time surfing the web in peace. I need to wake her up for her last diaper change and feeding in about 20 minutes and then I am hitting the pillow myself! It's been a long week...TTYL

You guys are so crazy to want more kids!!! LOL, but if it works for you guys than great.. but it definitely isn't going to work for me... I want to be done!!!!! I don't miss being pregnant, I was so happy not to be pregnant, since I had a hard time with my diet and blood pressure. Riley still gets up 1-2 sometimes 3 times a night. I am so exhausted. Hope you guys are well. I am so excited for the weekend. Working FT stinks!

I think it's so much easier to not get them used to warmed up bottles. Unfortunately at day care I have to send them all made up so they sit in a fridge. I asked them to warm them to room temp and not make them too warm because if she gets too used to that she won't take a room temp bottle. It's easier when we are out and about with Matthew if she takes a room temp bottle. I just switched her to the medium flow nipple becuase she was falling asleep while eating with the slow flow nipples. Is Luca using the silicone or the latex nipples? Have fun with your parents tonight. We are just going home to kick back and maybe do a family movie night. Matthew loves popcorn! I had a dress that I bought a few years ago (the little black dress) but I had to buy super control top pantyhose becuase I still have a bit of excess around the middle Oh well....all in good time, right? What time is the wedding tomorrow?

You mentioned that he was screaming until 10:30...is he colicky? Lucky you to get a night off! You'll be spoiled for a night and then...back to reality It sounds like he's doing good in the middle of the night...3 hours is good for his age. Is he doing room temp bottles or are you heating them up in the middle of the night? I keep a bottle with 4 oz of water in it and a little container with 2 scoops of formula in it in case she squaks in the middle of the night...that way it's not freezing cold from the fridge (not that we've had to use it in a few weeks...knock on wood). Have a great time at the wedding tomorrow - the weather will be cool but nice - no rain. TTYL!

yea i didn't even try to breastfed with kolby, i took him straight to bottles, it was great. I have been able to enjoy this baby much more then my first, because the first 3 weeks I was strung out. and you are right, the dads can help. Which is super!!! I am feeling really well, I didn't tear at all with this one, so I didn't have any stiches at all. I got my epidural later in my labor, so I was really numb for the delivery and I couldn't go to the bathroom on my own for a while, which stunk, because I had to have like 4 cathdears (sp) before I got things worked out. It was frustrating and really hurt, I had to tell my doc to STOP! I am with you, ready for my 6 weeks to be up so I can go back to work and get back to action with my hubby. I feel so bad, because he is so needed that attention and I can't really help too much. You know!! I am with you, I need to be on some BC before I can do anything, no more babies for us. hey ladies! just had to hop on here real quick, i know i havent been on in a while but i just wanted to let you all know i had my baby!!! she was born Sept. 22nd at 8:10 am via C/S. She was 7lbs 4 oz 19 in long. thank u for the well wishes we're both doing great, just trying to survive breast feeding i'll post pics up asap! good luck to all of u!

I think that's awesome that he's going 3-4 hours at a time. At that age I was fighting to get Alyssa to go 3 hours (we were nursing). Once we went to all formula she was doing 3 hours during the day. She still eats every 3 hours during the day now but she sleeps through the night (with a final bottle between 10-11) until almost 7 now so I can't complain...I'd rather that she get her calories in during the day than at night! Oh the belly! I still can't get rid of the little extra skin there. I swear I'll have it for the rest of my life (no biggie since I don't wear bikinis or belly baring shirts anyways). My arms are terrible - I really need to do some toning there but hey...no short sleeves until next spring so I've got time, right??? I can't believe how fast the time is flying...wait until you get back to work! The evenings fly by and the weeks go by in a blink. It'll be Christmas before you know it...TTYL!

Oh I am so glad you are doing well. I was worried about you being so tired and alone! Anyway, glad he is doing so well. I could NEVER get Riley on a schedule, but she fell into one eventually within a month or so. As soon as she knew day from night she started to have some consistancies in her day. She is pretty clockwork now, but it wasn't cause I was able to make her that way. I might have spoiled her a bit. She is finally sleeping AGAIN through the night. She was up a lot the first few weeks that I started back to work. But she is doing well and sometimes gets up around 5am, but often sleeps through till about 6am. Hope your well and enjoying your time with Luca... it goes way too fast. I don't even remember being on maternity leave anymore... its a blur.

Hello!! Sorry for the slow response, Kolby is great!! I am so glad Luca and Taylor are doing good for you. I hope you get Luca's schedule figured out, it is so hard. Are you breastfeeding?? I breastfed with mak for the first 3 weeks, and kolby went straight to bottles, it has been so much more of a pleasure. and so much easier to work with. take care, hang in there and don't stress as hard as that may not be to do. have a great day...and keep in touch!! MUAH!! Lots of love and patience your way, being a mom is a hard job, but remember you are GREAT at it!!

It's fun to go visiting with the baby . It gets you out of the house and lets you interact with some adults! It's nice when they move into the crib...it starts to get you back on the path to "normal" or rather your "new normal". Alyssa can make it through the night as long as she gets her last bottle between 10 and 11. She'll usually last until 6:45 or 7 in the morning. YAY! THat's awesome about fitting into the old jeans...yippee!!! TTYL

aww hey girl..Yeah my daughter had her first appointment last tuesday she lost weight :( they said it was normal though..shes a preemie so it scared me a bit..But they said dont worry. She went from 5lbs 8oz to 5'5 when we left down to 5'2 She eats like a little piggy though. thank you...Yeah im so moody here and there.....It sucks....But im waking up with her in the night cause he works from 4 am all the way til 4 in the afternoon. He woke up with her a few times...:) but i wish i had a little more help..I snapped yesterday..because i got snapped at for the cell bill even though he said i was paying for it...its like dude dont even bitch if its coming out of my pocket lol...

OMG your son is adorable! They are growing soo fast! It actually makes me a little sad haha, he is 18 days old already! I take pictures every single day and there is definitely a huge difference. He lost a pound at the beginning and as of yesterday he is just back to his birth weight, but now he feels so heavy! I really cant believe we were carrying this kids around inside us haha! I added new pics as well.

Ugh! I hear you on being tired...Alyssa is making it through the night but she gets a last bottle anywhere between 10 and 11 which means I don't go to bed until after that and we are up at 6AM. Plus this weather today is NOT helping. I am super bummed out for my cousin...what yucky weather for your wedding...she was supposed to get married outside but clearly that won't be happening today...oh well!

What age do they learn to blow their noses??? Does this mean I have many more years of using that bulb thingy to suck out their noses??? ARGH!!!
Charlie mentioned tonight that he's going to have to travel again in Oct. I hate when he travels...it's San Diego this time for a training...getting two kids to daycare and then making it to work on time will not be fun. Oh well...at least my boss is a pretty understanding person. I think that I have to go to Europe sometime in November so Charlie will be on his own then so we both have to deal with it I guess...
Anyways - hang in there...it gets better! How's he doing during the night?

Ohh don't worry about the tears...it passes. I had my share of crying too! Hopefully Mike can get the night off and go to the wedding with you...you two probably need the time together too! My friend had low milk production too. She used to nurse and then supplement with formula too...everyone has a different experience...if formula works for you then go for it! Don't think you're boring me...you need to vent and we've all been there TTYL!

What a bummer that Taylor is sick! Is it just a cold or something more? I thought I heard you saying that he had a bit of a cough when we were at Chuck & Karen's on Monday night. Good luck at Luca's appointment tomorrow. I have to take Alyssa to the doctor's on Monday afternoon because they want to check her head (it's a bit flat) and to also check her neck muscles as she has developed a bit of a preference as to which side she looks to. Hopefully it will all be nothing but we'll see. Charlie and I have a wedding this Friday night (my cousin is getting married). Karen and Chuck are coming over to watch the kids - I am excited for a grown-up night out!!!! I just bought some new shoes and a matching purse at lunch today. Hey - don't you have a wedding coming up soon that you are going to? Are you totally looking forward to some alone time with Mike??? Anyways...TTYL!

Hay, i delivered on thurseday 9/18/08 i will post it in a couple of days i lost weight threw out pregnancy so i am 20pds lighter.
