Hey, . Not too much to write but I will try to do what I can. I am a stay at home Mommy to a beautiful lil girl and soon to be baby. I am due December 23rd ( they may change that at my ultra sound though because they said the baby seems larger than expected)... This pregnancy is a complete shock because a few months before I concieved the docs told me I may be infertile due to PCOS.... So, this baby is a miracle! Infact, it's meant to be because we werent even trying!
I am happily married to a wonderful Man who works hard and is a great Daddy. He is ready for a baby boy so keeps your fingers crossed for him! :)
Any questions, please ask!'
JULY 26th- Hello again. Wen't for my U/S on the 24th and no luck seeing the sex. My lil one wouldn't open it's legs and when it finally did, the cord was blocking that general area. BUT, the good news is they also couldn't get a facial shot because my little one was laying face down towards my spine. So, because of no face shots, I get another U/S on August 22. Hopefully my lil jellybean wont be stubborn on that day and we can see what God has given us. I know my daughter was soooo dissapointed when we couldn't see it this time. She really wants a little brother but would be happy with a sister as well. Everything else looked wonderful. They said it was between 7-9 ounces, and all the organs are in good order! Oohh, and they bumped my due date up 4 days to Dec. 19th..
August 22- IT'S A BOY!! And he already weighs around 1 pound 4 oz!
August 28th.... Hello all. I am feeling extremely fat today. I thought I was feeling OK until I went to the docs and she told me I have gained 8 pounds since my last visit 5 weeks ago. That is about 24 overall so far. I only gained about 30 lbs the whole pregnancy with my daughter. And I am already overweight now. I dont want to gain too much and then be even bigger than I was. BUT, everything else is going great. My doctor said she'll start monitoring me internally around 30 weeks instead of 36 since my last pregnancy I went 6 weeks early. She said she see's me going into labor at 36 weeks, so I wont have an awful big baby on my hands! My daughter only weighed a lil over 5 pounds so I am used to it. Everyone was telling me that the way I am carrying it looks like I am going to have a 9+ pounder and I said HELL NO!hehehe. That would kill me!hehe. So, hopefully he stays around 6-7!
October 24th.
I am on here to basically vent. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy being pregnant, and there is nothing greater on this earth then knowing you are making and growing a life inside you, BUT COME ON. When I had my lil girl 6 years ago I was on bedrest at 27 weeks and had toxemia...I thought that was bad. But lately with this pregnancy I am NOT a happy camper. My pubic bone has been killing me for about a month ( my doc says it's because the baby is already in the birth canal), I can't sleep at night because my heartburn, peeing and legs throbbing in pain. My lower back is killing me, I am getting a yeast infection do to all the baths I am talking to ease my pain, and now..I have a massive hemroid. Seriously, what else could happen? I have to watch what I do now because my cervix is already soft and I am scared of going into labor this early. I need to hold him in atleast another month if possible. But, with him already being in the canal and my cervix soft, it's not looking promising. Not to mention I have had protein in my urine my last 2 visits which indicates toxemia like I had with my 1st..and my blood pressure is getting high. Now don't get me wrong, I had my daughter at 34 1/2 weeks so I know the baby would be OK< and trust me, I am ready for him to come out, I just know the longer he "cooks in the oven" the better. Also, the thought of pushing him out right now WITH my hemroid is a horrible thought. I just want to cry....
November 6th... Hello ladies. I had my final U/S yesterday and Dylan looks great. According to measurements he is already a whopping 5.6 pounds! But they also re-calculated my due date to be the 12-14th instead of the 19th now. He was precious on the screen. He stuck his tongue out at Daddy and was sahking his head around. He is soooo cute with his chubby lil cheeks. I can't want to pinch and kiss them constantly!! Right now I am sick. I have what a lot of you ladies seem to have. It feels like somone is sitting on my chest, I have pain and pressure in my head and behind my eyes, my throat hurts, I am coughing soooooo much my chest and ribs hurt not to mention I am spitting out goo that is green after every hard cough, my ear is clogged and I have a waterfall coming from my nose. YUP, I am a HOTTIE right now. My doc saw me yesterday for a cervical because sometimes coughing and sneezing a lot can out the baby in stress and make you dialate. LUkcily, everything down there looked good for now. My blood pressure was high 140/98, and I still have pretein in my urine. So, they said I will most likely have the baby in the next 2 weeks..AAGGGHHH!!!!I'm used to tiny babies though, like I said, my 1st was born a lil over 34 weeks weighing 5.8 pounds! I wouldn't know what to do with a large baby-HAHA. OOHH--- and right now I also pee on myself everytime I sneeze..isn't that adorable? NOT! LOL.
November 14th, So far so good! By this time in my last pregnancy I was already holding my baby! So, I have made it further along! WOOHOO! I have a feeling i'll still go early, i'm just glad it wasnt at 34 weeks! I had my docs appointment yesterday. I go weekly and have been for over a month. My blood pressure was actually decent 133/88. NO MORE protein in my urine and my cervix looked good! So, I might be able to hold in till full term!!! I have been getting BRaxtin Hicks A LOT lately but I know it's just my body preparing for labor. Plus my pubic bone is really hurting badly again and my vagina feels like it's on fire-HAHA. Not to mention with some BH I get pain on my lower back. BUT, everything I am going through now will all be worth it in a matter of weeks! I AM SO EXCITED! I cant wait to hold my baby Dylan!!
November 20th.... Well, Dylan is coming anytime. Had my weekly exam today and he is VERY low in the canal and I am dialted 1 cm. My Doc said since he's my 2nd, once you start dialating it doesnt take long. So, he could come tonight, or within the next week according to my doctor. Wish me luck, my baby will be here soon :)
BIRTH STORY....
I had my weekly appointment on November 28th in which I went to...while there they took my blood pressure and it was 160/102 and since I have a history of toxemia, my Doctor asked me if I wanted to have my baby today! I of course said YES and was sent to labor and delivery for induction. I called my husband who met me there later on and was induced around noon on the 28th. Since I was only dialted 1-2 when I arrived and my blood pressure was high, they had to start the labor process slowly. I NEVER felt pain at all...just pressure like strong braxtin hicks. My doc came in at 4:30 and broke my water...they upped the putocin ( spelled wrong i'm sure) and finally around 7 p.m I started having REAL labor pains. When I was at 5 cm I asked the nurse for the epideral and then it was pure bliss. I felt nothing. I was checked at around midnight and was 6-7 cm dialted and then around 1 a.m I felt the urge to have a MAJOR blowel movement. I told my sister ( since my husband was sleeping on the chair) to get the nurse. When she came in I told her I needed to push..she checked me and I was complete! I started pushing at 1:22 a.m..and Dylan was born at 1:32 a.m...I only needed to push through about 3-4 contractions. I was ripped pretty bad and am loaded with stitches, but it's worth it! I love my son!
3 Months and going strong!!
Well, Dylan is now 3 months old. Where on earth has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday I was on here writing about how badly I want to meet my baby! Well, lets see. Dylan is the BEST baby boy in the world! He NEVER cries..EVER. And he sleeps great at night. I usually feed him around 7 or 8 and he sleeps until about 3 a.m...then needs a bottle and is out until I wake him to take his sister to school around 8! I couldn't ask for a better baby! Lately all he wants to do is smile and giggle. He is loving life and is very content and happy. Dylan likes to try to sit up and stand ...he'll be an early walker I believe. He rolled over for the 1st time at 5 weeks! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!?! 5 weeks is very early to do that! And he is strong....very strong. He has the most amazing personality and seems to make everyone around him a little happier! He has the most beautiful blue eyes that I can not stop staring in to....he melts my heart and I couldn't imagine my life without him in it!
Dylans 4 months check-up..
OK, Dylan had his 4 month check up today ( April 1st) and he is a WHOPPING 14 pounds 12 oz and 25 1/2 inches long! He has gained about 6 inches in length and 8 pounds since birth! Amazing how fast they grow! The doc couldn't get over how strong he was. He kept on trying to stand and roll over when she was looking him over. Plus, he talked and giggled to everyone! He's a ham and he's MINE! I love him so much!

He is soo cute! Holding his ba ba like a big boy!!
Your little one brings smiles to my face-he is so cute!!!
