He is head down and they can feel his head when checking me. As of Monday I haven't dilated yet but I'm effacing. I've gained a lot of weight too but I know I can work it off after he is here. I just have a feeling that he might come early but who knows he may change his mind and stay in.

I had started to feel flutters around 13 to 14 wks and now he is really starting to kick where I can feel him but my husband has yet he stops kicking when he puts his hand on my stomach. I have read that some women don't feel the baby for a while still. When do you find out the sex of the baby?

thanks for the reply. i also had the same problem with with the doppler thing. they couldn't find the heartbeat because they were using the doppler around my belly button area -- then we got to see the baby on ultrasound and everything was fine!

Well i was right both times that i was pregnant, so my guess is that mother's know best. Enjoy your pregnancy as the time flies, i cant believe my is almost here!

I am from Col, Ohio...I too was born and raised here. We live just north of it, in Delaware now. What High School did you attend (not that we'd know anyone in common, since I'm about 11yrs older than you!)? BTW, where did you find that cute puzzle piece date anouncement on your web page?

At first I did try and do bed rest cause that is what my dotor told me to do, but as time went on I had no problems, so Im always up doing something. About three years ago I had lost my pregnancy at 21 weeks due to an incompedent cervix and I also had the leep procedure done about a year ago, So I felt like I had the odds against me but luckly I have made to it 36 weeks. When they put the cerclage in it hurt for the rest of that day. It felt like really bad cramping but after that fisrt day you wouldnt even know its there! Good luck!

I see you live in OH, near the PA border. I grew up in PA, a few miles from OH border. I lived about 20 minutes from Steubenville and 30 minutes from East Liverpool, OH.
