Wow how time flies! I am officially now on MATERNITY LEAVE!!!! So excited! although first day off which was yesterday i has a massive headache not such a great way to start 6 months of leave! Ahwell felling much better today and only 18 Days till my EDT!!! We put the car seat in yesterday it looks so cute in there, we just need someone to fill it! My bag is almost packed for hospital and baby's room is ready. I can't wait... Trying to keep myself occupied is going to be the hardest thing over the next couple of weeks, but like everyone has said put your feet up and relax..... It's just so hard for me. Anyway i'm not at the Dr's till next Thursday so hopefully the head has dropped more, last visit i was 4/5. Apparently it has to get to 1/5 then you start to dialate! who knows! :) ciao for now.

Sometime in Sep...
So i had my baby shower on the weekend, it was so great everything went well, My mum put on such a beautiful shower! I got so much stuff for the baby, he/she is going to be a spoilt baby i can see it now! My mum bought a Dior dummy, Dior baby bottle, Polo Ralph Lauren socks it's all so cute! I also got a present from mum, a beautiful Dior winter dressing gown. All the gifts from my family and friends were so practical it was exactly what i had asked for, like bibs and sheets and towels. Well hope everyone is great, bye for now.
4th Sep
Ok so it's been a while, alot has been happening and am so excited to say i am now 29 weeks!!! yay. I have been to see the Medical team and now i have so see them every 2 weeks at the hospital as well as seeing a midwife at the same visit! My blood pressure is going well though and it looks like i will be alright. I had to do a 24 hour urine test and have the glucose challenge blood test done the other day and am just waiting for the results of that. Am back at the hospital this Thursday so they will tell me what the outcome is! My mum is hosting my baby shower on Saturday and i am so excited for it! Can't wait to see what the baby gets!
4th AugustHi everyone, i am 24 weeks and 4 days today, i had a doctors appointment on the 2nd of August which didn't really go so well, i have high blood pressure at the moment and the Dr wants me to see a special "Medical Team" so they can monitor me. This is not how i wanted my pregnancy to go, i know i can't predict it and i should be grateful for everyday but this is just a pain in the butt!!!! Anyway apart from all that i am feeling great and can't wait for November! Ciao
23rd July
I am 23 weeks today! Am getting so excited about meeting my little one! Last week my fiance Matt felt out baby kick for the first time! He was so excited, couldn't get the grin off his face for hours. Since that night my baby has been moving and kicking non stop, almost to the point where i just want it to stop for a minute!!! But not really as i love the feeling! I have been feeling really good too, a little tired but not too bad! Hope everyone is well. Ciao

Hello everyone, Congrats to all. Just a little about me, I am a dental assistant and am currently 22 weeks pregnant! I found out i was pregnant at 7 weeks due to a cold but i kinda had a strange feeling as AF hadn't arrived! My fiance and i are due to marry September 08 and i am already planning it! Way too much happeining in my life at the moment! We bought a house together last year so everything we have done has been in a round about way but thats the way we were obviously meant to do it! Everyone is really excited for us and can't wait to see our baby in November! Am just starting to like being pregnant and i love it other people can tell i am having a baby and not just eating too much! Hope everyone is healthy and happy ciao

I had the glucose test done on Monday - sugar levels very high, I have to go back for the next test. My feet are so swollen. Aggg

I know exactly what you mean. Lachie kicks and rolls all the time, my stomach is definately getting a workout, and as for the heat, I also have been sleeping with the fan on, my Hubby thinks I am wierd he uses like 3 blankets and I am only under the sheet. I've had a few nose bleeds this week and feel a little congested. My feet look like paddles, my mum says that they should be back to normal shortly after bub is born. Hope you are doing well! That's great to hear! How you feeling? 9 weeks to go hey?! That's awesome! I've just come down with a stuffy nose, thankfully I'm finished my school internship now and can rest if I really need it. I am babysitting tonight, and I am exhausted, Lachlan keeps kicking too! WHich is nice, but i am sooooo tired!!! :) Bet you're starting to feel the weight! Well take care.

We haven't started antenatal classes, but will probably from the next visit, when they change to every two weeks. I was going to go Mater's Mothers they are pretty good, most of my friends have had their babies there - You're not allowed to walk around with your baby which I found wierd, but i guess it's a hospital and people could be in a rush to get to an emergency - safety precautions - we chose Redlands simply cos it takes the same amount of time to get there, and is easier in peak hour. Plus I get my own room, which I am stoked about! All the best with the blood test. Let me know how it goes. Love your photos!

the heat is not too bad.. yet! i mostly stay indoors. although yesterday i was at the cowboys game at 3.30 and it was stinking hot! lucky it was all worth it. i saw my boy on my scan today. well i saw parts of him.. he's too big now to fit his whole body on the screen. when did u last see a scan of your baby?

Pain has gone, my colostrum is in - probably pain related to that! Thanks for asking! :) I can see Lachie kick now, it's so funny, it makes me laugh. I can't wait to meet him? How are you going? Not long now! Where are you having bubs? I am booked into Redlands and after my next antenatal visit am due to visit every 2 weeks. How'd you go with the diabeties thing? Hope everything works out fine. DO you know if your baby is a girl or boy? Sounds like you have one trendy mum buying Dior and Ralph Loren! :) Babies are meant to be spoilt! :)

Hey! Yay another pregnant Aussie Brisbanite!!! I am feeling a bit off today - I have period like cramps in my tummy and back, no bleeding, everything else seems normal. have you had this at all? along with really bad heartburn, sleeping alot when I get the chance. A friend of mine had her bub at mater mothers & said they were great so I'm sure you'll be in great hands! I've also got a friend who's preggers but not due til start of next year. Another friend just gave birth 6 weeks ago-it's great having close friends going through this at the same time. How are you going with your blood pressure? By the way, I think you also look great : )

hey, i have told my work just last week and they were so surportive i plan to work up to about 7 months and a bit but im only 4 months now so i guess ill have to see how it goes im a hairdresser so im always on my feet for long hours so im cutting them back now so its not so tireing . ive been picking things out for the baby lately its so fun, how have u beeen have u finished work ?

Yeah it must be annoying but all worth it. I had my 20 week check up today (i'm doing shared care) and she took my blood pressure and all was good, I have a really good doc I can go in whenever I want and she lets me listen to the heartbeat which I love. Make sure that you dont overdue yourself. Take breaks and lay on yer left side. You dont always feel symptoms of high blood pressure. That is one of the reasons bed rest is so hard.Just pace yourself and let friends and family do the work. Delegate shopping and chores.Remember you are the Queen! take care Trish

Yeah I can't wait to get really big kicks all the time, she gave me a big kick lastnight and made me need to pee, lol, so hopefully she keeps doing it,(not making me pee), big kicks, lol. So what happens now with you having high blood pressure? Do you get checked more frequently?

HI, I like both names on your poll...but really love the name Lily. I too have High Blood Pressure(Preeclampsia) during pregnancy. Follow your Doc's advice precisely and drink as much water as you can and then drink some more.Take care and congrats!~Trish

Nah finding out hasn't made it more real, i think when i start getting regular powerfull kicks i'll believe it more. Have you started getting big kicks yet? You're lucky I already have a ton of stretch marks, but they're worth it.
