Hi there and welcome to my page. A bit about me, my name is Courtenay and I am 24 years young. I have one daughter who is the love of my life. I am a PROUD single mama to my little girl, and there is nothing I wouldn't do for her. Don't feel sorry for us, its better this way. I am currently going to college and trying to raise my daughter. I come on this site for support and something to do. I am not looking for drama or confrontation, and I really dont need any opinions on the way I choose to raise my daughter.

Ok ladies so I need help! Xavier turned 9 months old om the 18th and up until now we've been co-sleeping. Now that he's become a pro at flipping over and actually crawled (yes crawled!!) yesterday, the time has come for him to start sleeping in his crib. The problem is, I'm very apprehensive about this and am unsure as to how to switch him over to sleeping by himself. Do any of you ladies have any advice as to how to make this transition as smooth as possible?? Its amazing how fast he's growing! I know this change may not be easy but I'm also excited about the new changes. Any advice will be appreciated. I hope all of you ladies are doing well! God bless and I hope you ladies can help. I have a question for you guys. My cousin just told me she is 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant, due on July 27, 2010. Her HCG Blood results were 112, the blood test was taken even before she missed her period, her docs said it was low, and today she will find out what her 2nd test numbers came out as. Her doc told her it should have been anywhere between 5 to 456. Does 112 sound low to you guys even if it was taken before she even was due for her AF? Thanks, Dana

how is everyone doing?!
i dont get on as much as i would like but heyy im busy i guess lol!
i was just wondering..how is everyone feeding their 7 month old???? im doing 2 baby foods a day and then sometimes rice cereal..i usually do a veggie and a fruit 1st stage a day always. then his formula of course. and then the oatmeal cereal sometimes. have u ladies started them on 2nd stage? like the ones with meats? and how many baby foods etc?? just curious! thanks!

Added a few new pics of Xavier if anyone is interested. They will be the last 6 or 7 pics in my photobook. He's growing like a weed everyday. He has 8 teeth now and still getting more as we speak. He scoots and rolls all over the house but still hasn't started crawling yet. I told my husband I think he's just lazy! He still does not sleep through the night though which has become rather frustrating. Not to say we don't have an occasional surprise night where he sleeps all the way through but they are very few. Oh well, what can we do? All in all, he's coming into his own, showing his little attitudes and all. We are gonna have a handful once he does start crawling and walking, omg! He really is a joy though, the best part of my day for sure. Congrats to all u new mommies and tons of baby dust to those ttc. Love u all, xoxo.

Just wanted to say thankyou to everyone for there wonderful comments..there are far too many to reply to one on one..seen as we're still in the hospital...but I just wanted to let you all know how much we apreciate all the lovely comments and messages...will try to reply to everyone when we can..but as you might have guessed..adjusting to this newborn stuff again is hard work..I have nearly forgotton what to do..lol..i'm breastfeeding..and it is more painful this time round..I keep flinching everytime till she's finished..got blisters and there bleeding..(not fantastic..but it needs to be done..)..labour dust to those still waiting..baby dust to the ttc...and congrats to all the mummys with those lovely..(if not demanding)..little people...take care..Xxxx

just uploaded a few pics of Ella ..there on my 1st page of the photobook..i'm still in hospital..she is off the heatpad now..so checking her in 24hours to see if she can regulate herself...poor Jacob has been very very confused..he went wandering into my bedroom looking for mummy and daddy at 5am...and found Nanna..(she doesn't normally look after him so he was even more upset..:-(...I miss him sooooo much..I just want to get back and give him a huge cuddle...xx

hey ladies..in the hospital right now..ella has arrived safely thismorning at 11;36am weighing 6lb 11oz.. from the water breaking to birth it took a little less than 2hrs..shes on a heat pad at the moment cause her temp isnt regulating like they want..apart from that she and me are doing well..will keep you updated..hopefully be out tomoro..take care everyone..xxx
