BEHIND THE NAME: CONNOR
==================================
ETYMOLOGY
Connor is pronounced KAH-nor. Connor means lover of wolves, dogs, hounds and suggests wisdom and strong will. Connor the Wolf Lover is wise and strong describes the character of this name.

ORIGIN & HISTORY
Connor is an Irish name with ancient Gaelic beginnings. Though it is not linked to a particular religion it is seen throughout Ireland in many family and place names. Connor most likely stems from the combination of "cu"- meaning wolf or hound and "aire" meaning farmer or landowner. Another origin is the Irish 'Coachuhhar' which means high desire
.

I feel ya. Went to burger king today and the manager popped his head out of the window and said "You sure you've got enough time to eat before you give birth to that baby?" LOL ;)

Check with your doctor next time you go in. I found a great quote online that says something about how our breasts are not sterile, and we are not told to sterilize them before feeding. If you are worried that you may need bottles earlier than your due date, you could always sterilize them now, and then just wash them in the dishwasher before use. Or buy the microwave bags. They sterilize in just a few minutes and you can do at least 2 bottles at a time.

I was told by my doctor that if you have a dishwasher, you should sterilize after buying them, but after that, you can just run them through the dishwasher. I bought some microwave sterilizer bags to do everything the first time.

Hi there, I'm pretty sure once sterilised, bottles only remain sterile for about 24 hours after that they lose their sterility.

Hi, My ribs are really badly hurting too - especially my right rib. I told my husband that I feel like I have cracked a rib! Obviously that is not possible but it must be bruised. I have to sit really straight now as if I slouch at all the pain starts again. I now have a new found respect for my mum and what she went through to have me. It will all be worth it though as it is not too long now till we get to meet our little babies - so exciting!!

danny - Friday, 29 Feb
My ribs hurt so bad as well. They have been hurting for about a month now. Little Matthew loves to kick them right under my breasts. Ouch!!! It is actually sore to the touch. I had an ultrasound yesterday and you could actually see him kicking me there!!!! The doctor says they will feel better after I give birth. Great, only 2 1/2 more months of pain!!!!! Hang in there!!! You are not alone.

Roxy-Girl - Friday, 22 Feb
yes, it does feel like that. It is weird! Congrats to you :)

If you have enough room in your car, I already have two car seats in mine, go ahead and have him put the base in and just take the carrier in the hospital with you when you go into labor.

Valeriescheller - Thursday, 21 Feb
Hello there! On your post... you asked about the babies car seat! I say put it in! You never know!!! It's also very exciting because if like me, your anxious this will help cope with those feelings of ( I cant wait ) It will come faster than you might think!
I say go for it! It's never to early to prepare for your sweet bundle of joy! My daughter's bedroom is already done, and already has everything she will need... So now all I have to do is wait for her arrival!

bigmommat - Thursday, 21 Feb
I installed my car seat after the baby was born. We brought it to the hospital with us.
I am going to have 3 in car seats! Glad I got a van lol. Im hoping my daughter(3) will be heavy enough for a booster by may lol. GOOD LUCK

The pains when walking are prob just a little sign to slow it down a touch. Your muscles and ligaments are just getting all stretched out and your body prob just can't quite handle much exertion like it usually does. I have long legs to and typically walk fast. Due to the ligament pains b/w my legs, though, I have to walk like a snail. It is really annoying!

chute - Friday, 15 Feb
