Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sunday, 27 July might ring the hospital if it doesn't go away soon. if i do and they tell me anything i'll let you know xxx lizzie287 -
Saturday, 12 July Hey, I saw your question about nipple piercings and thought I'd throw in what I know so far. I've had mine pierced since I was 18, took them out shortly after getting pregnant (my boobs grew so much that the rings got uncomfortable)... As long as you didn't have any crazy infections after getting pierced than there should be no damage to your milk ducts. The only thing is you'll have a couple extra jets for your milk to come out of. In fact, my first leakage that I noticed was out of my piercing holes. lol. Hope that helps! Good luck on the rest of your pregnancy :) kimber3622 -
Wednesday, 9 July haha...i know. my boss brought me into her office today and was like "why are you wearing jeans!?" I started crying and was like "these are my only pants left that fit." LoL. I can laugh about it now (the hormones, lol) she eventually cheered me up and our "meeting" ended in a 50 dollar bill to buy a pair of maternity dress pants! lol. katieLm -
Wednesday, 9 July Hi, my blood type is O Neg and I have to get that shot also...I actually got one at the begining of my pregnancy because I was spotting and will again in a few months. It no cause for worry!! It's great how far medicine has come! Congrats on your pregnancy!! ReRe78 -
Wednesday, 9 July lol-a bit crazy yes, but i have to get the shot too...but its only because our blood type and the baby's are different and it helps our body not try to reject the 'foreign' blood.....all worth it in the end

Monday, 7 July I think that its great your boss understands b/c mine didnt i had to quit b/c i was too sick in the morning and having a few complications like my asthma. My daughter is very excited though. My bf wants a boy but my daughter wants a girl so its a battle. A funny battle.I have an ultrasound every doctor's visit. I go to the doctor on the 17th. when is your doctor's visit? kimber3622 -
Monday, 7 July hey thanks, you too. At least the father of ur baby is sticking around for the child, it deffinetly helps to have any sort of support at all.
Well...we go today for our ultrasound...at 2 o'clock...I can't wait. I've seen o many pictures online of 12 week ultrasound pics...some look like babies...others, like creatures. Yours is a babyish looking one...in the middle, LoL...I'm really hoping for a baby-lookin one. LoL.
And I was blessed as well...I haven't gotten sick once! There was this one time Justin and I went out on his moms boat. I was only like 6 weeks at the time...The boat was docked, she was just showing us around. All the shifting and movement of the water made me nervous and gross feeling...so I got off the boat, and was fine. So I've concluded that it was just sea-sickness not morning-sickness since it never happened again.
Sounds strange...but sometimes I wish I did feel sick so this whole thing would feel real to me! I've been feeling so good that sometimes I wonder if I'm still pregnant. LoL. Hopefully today seeing that picture and hearing the heartbeat will change that!!
Keep in touch!!! amynicole -

Saturday, 5 July hey i randomly came across your comment in the 12 week forum and just decided to let you know that no matter who they are seeing they have to do a neck/skin measurements. It checks for things like down syndrome where the neck would have a pocket of fluid. Sometimes thick skin can mean other sorts of disorders and you can read about them online. But it is a ROUTINE check up sweettie. And trust me, the ultrasound techs can be such bastards sometimes because they cant tell you and your head will go CRAZY with questions. But dont worry, when i was about 20 weeks and they did the scan for me to find out the sex and check on the well being, they said my son had cysts in his brain and his ventricles are inlarged (which meant he would of had fetal hydrocephalus a condition that makes the head abnormally large because the spinal fluid goes into the brain too much) but when i talked to an actual specialist they said that there was nothign wrong with him and he was absolutely perfect. My point being, techs are sometimes wrong as well. Never trust anyone until you hear it from an actual doctors. The ultrasound technicians are just paid to take measurements which they apparently dont always do right! =] if you have any questions feel FREE to ask. I am all ears. Tastiecake731 -

I'm NO expert but your little one looks ADORABLE!!!! And what a cute little baby bump you have... I've already had 2 kids so I look like I'm 6 months preg, not 12 weeks..LOL emily82 -

Look he/she's waving at ya! So cute Tastiecake731 -
Saturday, 5 July I don't know what the typical measurements are but I can tell you that some of the radiologists won't tell you much of anything due to the "law", they are supposed to forward them to your doctor and let them tell you what they mean. Fortunately I have a GREAT radiologist now, she shares everything with us. But back in Feb when I went to the ER, the tech said there that there was NO baby and I was supposed to be like 9/10 weeks and she wouldn't tell me anything else she said it was the doctor who had to tell me the results although I already figured I was miscarrying. Try not to worry and check with your doctor Asap to get your results.
Did you see your baby? At this piont there should have been a head, body, arms and legs. You can check out my recent scans if you'd like. emily82 -
Friday, 4 July Let me know how the scan goes :) emily82 -
Tuesday, 1 July haha, I've been sneaking in the week 12 forum...just reading. I don't really get it, like aren't we week 12 tomorrow? Why doesn't our name show up on the side until the middle of the week?
