Thursday, 21 Feb Most Level II Ultrasounds are performed by a Perinatologist-Is your Dr sending you to one? The Ultrasound is the same as a regular US, but it has a higher resolution for the Dr to see more. I have been seeing a Perinatologist since week 13 due to high risk and age factor, so I had a level 3 done every month, and I now go every two weeks as I do with my OB. Don't be too nervous, they can get such a detailed look at the baby, that it may actually be a good thing. chula -
Wednesday, 20 Feb Your doctor might just refer you to another doctor to take a look at that specifically. While I was 18 weeks pregnant my doctor noticed that my baby had echogenic in the bowel. So he sent my hubby and I to 2 doctors to get 2nd opinions, we had to get blood work done and other stuff as well. Trust me the 1st 6 months we were so depressed and praying that it was nothing and it would go away as the baby grew and it did. Thank God that it went away. But dont worry, ask questions and hopefully there will be a solution, just think positive and my prayers will be with the baby and your family. stacyandmichaelsbaby -
