CONGRATS Mama!! I'm glad everyone is safe and heathy at home. I love the his name...Devon Michael. Is it a family name? I'm sorry you had to have a c-section. Everything ok? How long was your labor? I'm so happy for you and your family
He was a BIG boy....are you recovering well? Getting rest?

I had Miles BenZion on July 14th at 4:52. He was 7 lbs 11 oz and 19 inches. I was in labor for 14 hours!! They had to induce me...OMG! I was stuck at 6 cm for an hour....finally got an epidural. I had a vaginal birth and I was thinking next time I should do have a scheduled c-section.

Hey Lil Mama, how are you? I had a busy night. I thought that this was it! I woke up at 3:30 this am with menstrual like cramps/contractions? When I went to the b.room there was brn old blood with urine?? Still this a.noon I'm having brn old blood.
I called L&D and they told me to walk around, warm shower and drink plenty of water. It's 1:30 and I just have little light cramps..nothing like early this morning. Have you lost your mucous plus? Could that blood be part of it?
How are you feeling? Tomorrow is your due date ;o) Let me know if you go into labor or if you feel like you are. Hope all is well. -Lica

Hey Mama, yesterday was my due date ;o( and I'm still here....pregnant. My Dr said that I'm only 1.50 cm dilated and 50% effaced. He is hopeful that I'll deliver this w.end on my own and if not then he'll induce labor Monday but only if I'm 70% effaced. How's everything with you? Any progress? Wish you lived closer so we can take your kids for a walk together. I'm the only one out of my friends that is going to be a mother. Hope all is well ;o)

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one feeling that way! This will be my first, and the anticipation is simply killing me! I hate answering my phone now, because everyone is always asking me what's going on as if I wouldn't have called them if she arrived. I'll be crossing my fingers and praying that the both of us go into labor soon! Good luck!

My internet went out ;o( so I went a had lunch w/ hubby and walked the dog. It's hot out, lucky for us we have a/c. I have a dr's appt this Thurs, I'll let you know what he says. I have no idea how much he weights, how do they weight the baby? I never been told. So they can't stripped the membrane because of b strep, I tested positive also. He is head down and I keep dropping more, I feel so heavy! I have his room ready and it's super cute, our bags are packed. We're just waiting for Miles to come. It's so uncomfortable getting in and out of bed. Anything I should ask the Dr on Thursday regarding inducing? I'm getting nervous. Are your kids getting excited about the baby?

I was just shaking my hands, feels kinda good. I already drink plenty of water and OJ. I'm still getting leg cramps once in a while, and I'm taking calcium vitamins. They really hurt in the morning! I saw that your due July 13th, fingers crossed that your angel will come early (just tried to cross my fingers and cant..lol). I'm only dilated 1.50 cm...nothing really. That was 3 weeks ago and since then...no action! I was also hoping that I'll deliver early because people say "you first baby come 2 weeks early", Yeah...not me! I'm hot and miserable. I wish I would have more contractions, I only get about 2-3 a DAY. How about you? Feeling anything? Let me know

Hey..how are you? Carpal tunnel? I never heard carpal tunnel during pregnancy only and then it goes away after you deliver? My feet have been swollen also but my hands really hurt because of the swelling. I just woke up with them this morning for the first time...wrist hurt also ;o( I'll shake them but did they give you any other advise? Thanks and I hope everything is going well for you and your cute family.

I'm on my 3rd baby to and I'm due in one more day. I thought for sure I'd have my baby by now. My last was born at 37 weeks. My first was 4 days overdue and induced with pitocin. There really is no way of predicting when is there? It sucks! I really can't wait! Good Luck to you! I hope you'll have your baby soon!

Thank you for the comments. It is reassuring to know that my baby isn't the only one not engaged. I hope he gets the clue soon because I want to meet him so bad. I think he likes it in there for some reason. I am wobbling like a weeble and I am getting some pains in my vagina. Good luck and take care.

it goes from ur lmp because that is the day ur cycle has started ur egg is already growin jst waitin to b fertilizwd.this confused me for ages coz i knew the exact date i concived...but what confuses me more the baby is growin exactly with me conception date im only 30 weeks in an ultra sound , its sooo strange

I was reading and saw your comment on the due date. Doctor's will always go by your LMP. Although you know the day you did the "deed", sperm lives for up to 3 days in the uterus so it would be difficult to determine the exact day. That is why LMP is usually used. I wouldn't worry too much about the day they say...he/she will come the day they get ready. Congratulations on the pregnancy!!! It is almost over....
