Hey, my name is Christina and my husband and I are expecting our first baby.

My OBGYN told me a while ago that we would probably need help getting pregnant b/c I wasn't ovulating every month so when I was getting pains in my side and pelvic area, my husband and I didn't think that it might be from a baby!
I went in to have an ultrasound and when I saw my uterus with a big black looking thing on it, I started to panic and I was asking the tech if it was a tumor! Lol. She said no, and that it in fact, looked like an early pregnancy! I started to cry right away. We had only been married for about two months when we found out that we were expecting, but we were still both so happy.

A few weeks later, I started to bleed and cramp a lot and we thought we were going to lose the baby. I went in for another two ultrasounds and acutally got to hear the baby's heartbeat! (Via the transvagional u/s). Since then, things seem to be fine.

First we were told that we would have a hard time getting pregnant and then there were a couple times we thought we were going to lose the baby. I'm due exactly one week before Christmas and if all goes well, this baby will be our little Christmas miracle!
