I went to the doctor yesterday to do the first trimester screening for Down syndrome… I had an ultrasound and I saw the baby moving around… sucking his thumb… playing with his mouth… it was the cutest thing ever!!! According to the u/s everything looks really good and the chances at 1/2500, I also got a blood test that will be ready next week the doctor said it should lower or increase the chance, but according to his prospective looks really good!! Thank God! I was so nervous!! The baby spread his legs apart and I think it's a boy, the lady would not confirm to us because she said she is not allowed before 16 weeks!! But she laughs when I said: it's a boy I saw the little thing!! Ahahahah Does anyone found out the sex yet? Apparently in the US they won't tell you until the 16th week because it's not very accurate!! :( But I'm pretty sure it's a boy, I'm so excited!!!

Just come back from the us clinic!! It's a boy!!! IN the first 5 seconds she could see the male organs already! I was right, I knew it was a boy!!! I"m so excited!!! I got several pictures of his male organs, he showed to us many times!! It was so cute!!!!!

My baby boy 14 weeks old! Mommy loves you already!!!

Look how cute, we can see his nose already!!!

18 weeks!! I'm getting big!!!!!

Oh cool...well i hope that she comes before you due date...i heard 1st time inductions are a lot longer than if this was your 2nd or more. I am sure all will go wonderfully for you though! Congrats to you!

I'm so glad you're sleeping. That's great. The doc suggested today that I start sleeping upright b/c of the heartburn ... it is just awful and I can't sleep b/c of it. You are lucky if you don't have it. Even water gives it to me these days. I thought I'd dropped but the doc said not really. I got really big this last week, all belly, so the doc thinks he hit a growth spurt. I have a growth/size u/s next Thur and we'll maybe make a decision then about possible inducing or c-sect or just waiting it out. She does not like to make these decisions until 38-9 week, and I'm only 37.4 I'm not dilated or anything right now. He's taking his time, too! :)

Yeah, that´s fair enough, I was just commenting on the drs views. I know if it´s medically necessary then of course it should and must be practised. I was just voicing about what seemed to be the Drs opinions on inducing only because they ´thought` the baby could be big. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Well, I just came back from my appointment and the doctor is saying baby dropped a little bit but from her evaluation, she says it looks like I will have to be induced next week!! I am not dialating or anything. Good news is the baby will only be about 6 1/2lbs at birth :) We told her that we guessed the 21st since everything seems to fall into place with 21... My husband and I met on the 21st, we married on the 21st (and my husband was 21 at the time), our dog was born on the 21st, seems funny but she said that's what we are aiming for :O

That's really not that unusal with 1st baby's for them to be late... I think my 1st baby wanted to keep me waiting too. Really can't remember - 13 years ago. I know you are excited though, best wishes to you :O)

ahhh thats great to hear hunni!!well the midwife didnt even come yesterday she totally 4got so im not happy about that lol! shes coming today shortly so when shes been ill post and let ya know what shes said. wow if we both make it to the dates we are gettin induced on ull have urs on the 12th and ill hav mine the 13th hehe crazyyyyy xx

I think he just needs to stay in a little longer! He is a good size. I think it is so much better to let nature take its course! Only 6 more days, though! You guys can try and use the extra time to go see a movie, go to dinner, all the stuff you won't be able to do once he gets here! That's what we're trying to do! Just about finished packing my hospital bag! Just need to nightgowns and I'm all set!

I only gained 16 pounds during the pregnancy but remember I was on that low carb diet since I had gestational diabetes.. my jeans are baggy lol I have to get new clothes soon but waiting for my post appointment to get the okay to work out.. I want to tighten my belly a bit.. if you breastfeed those 30 pounds and plus more will melt away lol.. I was shocked and I don't remember my first doing that to me ..than again I was on birth control after I had her which added weight on me rather than shed it.. birth control has that affect.. About the sex I was scared out of my mind thinking about the pain I went through and was scared that it would hurt were I had the stitches.. but it actually went good lol.. a little on the tight end but it was okay.. my husband swore off sex till I see the doc he wants to make sure everything is ok before getting too happy to be in love again... so sweetie there is fun and life after baby!! just have to find the time in between those two lol! 2 more days for you till you see your little prince yay!!

Are you still set for Thur? That's the day after tomorrow!!!! YAY! I'm so happy for you! Can't wait to see a pic of your little guy and hear what it was like. No signs for me yet, I go to the doc Thur. But things are def happening, I can tell by the new sensations and his movements and what he bumps up against, how low he is. I just have a feeling, though, that he is going to stay in until the very end. But I feel my belly has gotten bigger lately, and it is not because I'm eating a lot because I have no appetite. It may also be fluid, I'm retaining a lot. We'll see. How are you today? How are you sleeping?

wow! thursday that is awesome!.. Yes I healed and did an oop-sy.. had sex with my husband 2 days ago and not suppose to before my appointment with the gyn on the 23rd lol... I feeling good besides the increase in appetite ..let me tell you breastfeeding will do it to you.. I lost 3 pounds below my pre-pregnancy weight! you actually lose the baby weight faster during breastfeeding.. Are you going to circumcise your boy?

She is a big eater my husband took over last nights feedings and gave her 3 ounces at 3 in the morning than another bottle at 5 .. than she cried at 6:00 and he was asking me he doesn't know why she is crying since he fed her her bottle... I heard the sound she was making its like a "neh" sound I laughed and told him she is hungry he was like "what! she had a whole 3 ounces!" I put her to my breast and she drank away till she fell asleep.. most of this morning she has been doing the every 1 hour feeding.. guess this is her growth spurt now she has been sleeping for 2 hours yay! but she will be up hungry... Gosh I can't wait for you to have your little bundle what an amazing experience.. I want another baby! lol!! well no time soon..

haha, yep, which took about an hour of persuasion for something that lasted like 10 minutes. hahaha. but i've been losing my plug FOREVER. no kidding, it's been a week at least. i think thats what it is anyway. every morning i lose something that looks like it should have been in my nose, but it's white.
