I went to the doctor yesterday to do the first trimester screening for Down syndrome… I had an ultrasound and I saw the baby moving around… sucking his thumb… playing with his mouth… it was the cutest thing ever!!! According to the u/s everything looks really good and the chances at 1/2500, I also got a blood test that will be ready next week the doctor said it should lower or increase the chance, but according to his prospective looks really good!! Thank God! I was so nervous!! The baby spread his legs apart and I think it's a boy, the lady would not confirm to us because she said she is not allowed before 16 weeks!! But she laughs when I said: it's a boy I saw the little thing!! Ahahahah Does anyone found out the sex yet? Apparently in the US they won't tell you until the 16th week because it's not very accurate!! :( But I'm pretty sure it's a boy, I'm so excited!!!

Just come back from the us clinic!! It's a boy!!! IN the first 5 seconds she could see the male organs already! I was right, I knew it was a boy!!! I"m so excited!!! I got several pictures of his male organs, he showed to us many times!! It was so cute!!!!!

My baby boy 14 weeks old! Mommy loves you already!!!

Look how cute, we can see his nose already!!!

18 weeks!! I'm getting big!!!!!

Thank you! Actually, we went to Michael's (not sure if you have that in Md) to look for hooks and could not find any. I found those wooden animals and just had Scott drill a hole through them and hang the wall hangings from there. I love them! How are you? I went to a wedding this weekend... posted some pics! Just feel huge but we're getting close! How are you? Hope you had a great weekend!

Hey you.. checking on you wondering if you have had the little prince yet.. Yes the cream has a weird texture to it.. I am having problems with her latching on to my right breast she keeps getting the tip of the nipple and it gets painful.. but I have to try and try again.. I haven't been on my messenger.. every time I am about to log on in there I have to feed her or change her lol. let me know what is going on.. hmmm maybe you might have went into labor? just wondering.

oo well little bit crazy sometimes I just get moody because of the baby we just want him out but obviously we know that he will come when he is ready by the way your pregnant pictures are really nice it seems like if you dont have any stretch mark wow thats great keep it up like that ooo and your nursery pictures are really nice too.. O well I wish you the best on your pregnancy and wish me luck so hopefully baby andy will come sooner........

Yes they took lots of pictures of her both with a black and white camera a regular one and his parents went crazy with their camera.. I am looking forward to getting them on a disc so I can share her.. my husband had the nerve to take photos of me in pain and contracting I could have killed him lol! You should start putting on the breast cream so it can get your nipples ready it is not going to be comfortable at first when your baby begins to feed on you.. but don't give up either.. mine are beginning to toughen up when she feeds and I apply the cream after she eats, after I have pumped and before showering because bathing can dry them out.. you can apply it after bathing too.. that cream is my savior lol.. She is sleeping right now so I have the time to do my things before she wakes up.. I change her pampers after every feeding.. it has been already 9 pampers since 7 this morning so far .. that is a good sign she is getting nutrition. I am exhausted

Oh yes I am sore but much better than the past few days... I have stitches so sometimes it is a pain to sit but it is healing since the pain is getting lighter. I was irritated last night I have been getting bumps in my breast which is normal but they hurt like hell! So I have to just take things in stride and accept the fact that I am breastfeeding.. I was concentrating to much in getting a certain amount of ounces in the bottle and had to just let things run its course.. what I am doing is pumping when my breast feel super full or when Ahriana is not waking for her feeding.. I pump what I can and that is it.. and I take whatever ounces given to me and freeze it.

About labor I suggest that you breath with the contractions like you are blowing a balloon.. it helps alot in reducing the pain.. don't groan because the baby is not getting much oxygen so the breathing helps alot.. upon pushing do what they tell you to do.. it is going to hurt but once the baby is out the pain is over! I am rooting for you and your delivery! you can do it! Looking forward to your pregnancy story ;0)

I just ordered the video monitor, changing pad and cover. Those were like the last 3 things I feel we really had to have to bring him home. Of course, we need more than one cover and more of other things, but I felt that was the last of the necessities. Now I want to focus on what I'll need. Have you packed your hospital bag?
