Hope everyone is doing well! I am now 14 weeks and surprisingly feeling really good. No more nausea, and I feel like I have more energy for the past four days!! My first ultrasound isn't until June 4. I will be 22 weeks. I am so envious of those who get to have numerous ultrasounds during threre pregnancies. I want to see my baby, so we are going to get a non-diagnostic ultrasound on May 5. It will be in 3D/4D so I am very excited. They record the half hour session on DVD for you and give you a CD of numerous pictures. I will only be 17 weeks then, so I am expecting the baby to look a little skeletal since it has not developed fat yet. Only three weeks away! We are going to find out the sex of the baby that day as well.
I also wrote my last exam for nursing yesterday. I have three full time months of work experience left and then I am all finished. I can't wait to start my clinical since I will be on a Labour & Delivery ward. By the 10th week of practice, we have to deliver a baby on our own, as the doctor doesn't always make it and they want to make sure that we would be prepared.
Anyway, I am blabbing so I am signing off.

P.S. Anyone else hate maternity clothes? Can't seem to find any that fit. My belly needs the stretch, but the hips and but haven't grown so even the XS don't fit right! They seem to think that when you are pregnant you gain weight everywhere! Guess I will wear sweatpants to my grad!

Well, I am now 17 weeks one day pregnant! It has been exactly two weeks since I felt the first movements! the very first time was like a huge bubble burst in my stomach. I sat there so quielty because it was the wiederst but neatest feeling I have ever felt. I only felt it about every three days after that, and sometimes it was like someone was tapping me on my insides. the last two days I have felt it alot more and sometimes I will all of a sudden have lot of pressure and I can tell which side the baby is on.
I am so excited because we find out what we are having on Saturday! Only three more days!!! I will post what it is when we find out and also post some 3d/4d pictures of the baby! The place that we are going to will give us a DVD of the session and a CD with numerous pictures, and I can't wait!
I hope everyone is having a good pregnancy, with little or no complications. Remember to take care of yourselves!
Bye for now!
I will let you know after Saturday if it is right!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!! We are very excited! I really really wanted a girl and to my husband it did not matter. The 3d/4d ultrasound was awesome. I am 17 weeks 4 days and this is the first time we have had an ultrasound, so the first time that we have got to see the baby. She was moving so much, doing summersaults and everything. Opening her mouth alot and was even sucking on her arm! Here are some pictures! She still looks very skeletal, and skinny, but I am already in love with her!

Here is our latest picture of our baby girl!

I am now 30 weeks and so happy to still be pregnant. We had quite the scare when I was 28 weeks 4 days. I went into premature labout at 3 in the morning. I starting contracting every 4-5 minutes. I woke my husband up at 5:15 and layed there with him for two hours before I decided that if these were braxton hicks they would go away when I moved around. I got up and showered and ate. The contractions did not go away and at 9:30 we headed for the hospital. by noon when they finally checked me I was 1 cm dilated, 25% effaced, and she was station -2. They immediatley gave me an IM of Betamethasone (steroid) to develop her lungs quiclky in case she was born. they started an IV and gave me a bolus 1000ml of NS in case I was dehydrated. They checked me again at 3:00 and I was not 2 cm, 30-40 % effaced, and she was still station -2. That is when I broke down. I know that cervical change means you are actively labouring. they started me on Endocid to try to stop the contractions and sent me in an Ambulance to a different hospital that would be able to deal with a high risk delivery. My poor husband through all of this was trying to be so strong for me, but I could tell he was a mess. He was so scared she would be born and be very sick and possibly not make it. I ended up by contracting until 2 in the morning, just about a full 24 hours before the medication finally stopped the contractions. I now have to take it very easy as they have no idea what brought on my labour. I just pray that I make it to at least 34 weeks with her. Babies do very well after 34 weeks. I have already dropped and she is very much in my pelvis. I have never been so terrified in my life. Especially when the pediatrician from the NICU came up to speak with us about what we would allow them to do for her. They were already taking all the precautions and getting ready for a 28 weeker to be delivered. This made it even more real that it could actually happen. thank goodness it didn't. I am so happy to be at 30 weeks. Each day I am happy to be pregnant for one more day because she can get just a little bit stronger! The picture is of her at 27 and 5 days.
