I know hat you mean about happy with the shower being over. I was starting to hear from people that they wanted to be involved in planning it and the godmother wasn't giving them tasks to do. We had the party and half the people invited didn't show up. I only got a couple of things from my registery. My mom bought a stroller an d matress and I got some of the bath time stuff but nothing else I picked out. I was wondering why I wasted my time with it!

I plan on breastfeeding because of the 'special bonding' or whatever, plus breast milk is very good for your baby but I don't think there is anything wrong with not doing it either. I can totally understand what you mean about the whole idea as being strange. I mean I have never ever ever ever thought of my boobs as sucking machines and the only time they have ever been sucked on was certainly not for food. LOL. Whatever you do don't feel guilty for deciding not to breastfeed lots of people don't do it and it is your body so you get to decide! I want to mostly so that when my baby wakes up in the middle of the night I can grab him and feed him all without me needing to get out of bed.

The size of your breasts has absolutely nothing to do with your ability to breastfeed. Neither does leaking. If you do want to breastfeed, your body will figure it out in time. If not, you'll probably still have milk come in and you'll have to dry up.

My boobs have gone from a normal B to a full B maybe a small C if I pushed it. So I am concerned too but I do plan on breastfeeding, I just hope my breasts figure out that I am pregnant soon. My Dr said not to worry.

hello, how are you doing?I'm pretty good. I'm also registering at babies r us and target.Target actually just got some really cute stollers in,they are brown and pink and i think they're adorable so i definetly registed for them.i've done a lot of registering online b/c of what you had told me about when you went.So where is this 4-d ultrasound? I put this on the tooth care thread too...

Crystal, poor thing. My husband just went through the same thing. First he would take 2 tylenol. Then he would break ice up into small pieces and hold it between his gum and cheek right where it hurt, for as long as he could, it was really painful but after a few minutes, it would start to numb. Then he would put ambesol gel on the spot. His tooth ache was really bad and this process worked like a miracle for him. He said he'd be almost pain free for almost 4 hours. Hope this helps.

I know you've been in it for a week noe, but i'm soo excited to be in the third and last trimester!!How have you been feeling?I've been good, but it is starting to get really hard to get out of bed, or just simply stand up for that matter!I'm kinda nervous because i still have a lot to get but at the same time i can't wait for that shopping spree!!What about you, do you guys have pretty much everything yet?How are you doing, has your leg gotten any better and are you still off work? From what I understand a doula helps you when you get home from the doctors -like prepares meals for you and your husband and does things around the house. Kind of helps you get back on your feel. I would love to have one but probably not in the budget. Oh well.

HI HUN MY NAMES IS HEATHER, MY SON IS GOING TO BE BORN WITH HEART DEFECTS IN THE NEXT 3 WEEKS I FOUND OUT AT 22 WEEKS I OPTED NOT TO GET THE BLOOD TEST DONE THAT THEY OFFER YOU AROUND 15 WEEKS THEN WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT HIS HEART THEY AKSED ME TO DO A AMNIO I TRYED TWICE BUT EACH TIME I BROKE DOWN CRYING AND CHANGED MY MIND AT LAST MOMENT I DECIDED THE SLIGHT RISK OF MISSCARRIAGE WAS NOT WORTH IT AND I'D KEEP MY SON REGARDLESS. HAVING A THICK NECK IS A SIGN OF DOWN SYNDROME, BUT MY BEST FRIEND HAS A 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WITH D/S AND SHE WAS THE BEST BABY AND SHE'S THE SWEETEST GIRL. SHE'S MY BUCKET OF SUNSHINE. AS FOR MY SON HE IS A MYSTERY TILL HE'S BORN. BUT IF YOURE DR IS CONCERNED HE SHOUL BE SENDING YOU TO A HIGH RISK OB. I GO TO A CHILDRENS HOSPITAL ABOUT A HOUR AWAY. AND IF HE SUSPECTS D/S YOU SHOULD GET A ECHOCARDIOGRAM DONE WHICH IS LIKE A ULTRASOUND THEY DO ON YOURE BABYS HEART BECAUSE 35% OF KIDS WITH D/S HAVE SOME FORM OF A HEART DEFECT MOST COMMONLY 'AVSD' YOU NEED TO ALSO TELL YOURE OB THAT U DO NOT WANT HIM TO BRING UP THE TEST AGAIN AND HE SHOULD RESPECT YOURE DECISION. I HAD A REALLY HARD TIME WHEN I FIRST FOUND OUT ABOUT MY SON I WAS DEVSTATED BUT I FOUND SOME GROUPS ON MYSPACE AND THE OTHER PARENTS HAVE FILLED ME WITH HOPE, I EVEN BELONG TO SOME DOWN SYNDROME GROUPS EVEN THOUGH IM NOT EVEN SURE HE HAS A CHROMSOMAL DEFECT. Oh wow, what a stressful christmas, i'm so glad that everything came out ok in the end. So are you off work for good now?That'd suck to have to go off this early even for a while, because it gives you something that you know you have to do everyday,so I think it helps in making the time pass. I can't believe how fast time is going by though,it's kinda crazy.My best friend is getting endused today and i'm so excited.She didn't find out what she's having so it'll be extra special! As far as names go we were thinking Ashleigh Grace Botens. I just like the name ashleigh and I tried to mix it up a little with a differtent spelling, and both my bf and I have grandmothers with the middle name grace,so it's killing two birds with one stone.Well I hope that you stay well,and good luck finding a name,it is harder than I thought!Talk to you soon.

Just to add on to your comment in chromosomes. Yes you have every right to not get the testing done. I didn't get the testing done. I found out there was thickness of the neck at about 12 weeks. they had me go to a cant remember the name but he specialized in u/s and they said that he was all swollen and he wasn't going to make it and that they wanted me to do some testing and find out if it were chromosome related but I didn't want to as it could cause you to miscarry so i said no. I thought they could be wrong. I ended up losing him at 16 weeks he stopped growing at 14. so just have another ultrasound and see how your little girl is doing. I think if she doesn't have swollen look then she should be fine. Good luck and let me know please!! I would like to know what you find out. and yes it is so hard not to be stressed and crazy about something like this especially when a doc is pushing. so talk to you soon.

Well last night I got into a bath that was as hot as I could stand it. I sat on a hemi donut to elevate me off the bottom of the tub and then put my feet on my little girls plastic step stool to keep my legs and feet from burning up. Used about 3 cups of epsom and sat for 15-20 minutes. When I got out My whole backside looked like it was sunburned! I took away the pain almost completely for a couple of hours and when the pain did come back it is not as bad - so I guess I am getting the hang of it. I can't remember if it was you or someone else who mentioned making the water as hot as you could stand it, but apparently that makes a difference! The darn thing is still there though and I take about 3 baths a day. The pain is not as severe now so at least I can sleep and get around a little better. It had gotten so bad at one point. Thanks for the support. I am now just sitting around waiting to go into labor - I hope it happens tonight!

What exactly do you mean when you say 'kneel' in the tub. I have taken about 3 epsom baths a day for the past 3 days, gone through a tube of Prep H and about 3 supositories and even an ice pack. What is up with this stubborn Hemm!!! It hurts so bad - I have never had one that would not be relieved. I am ready to cry. I am 38 weeks preg and have actually forgotten I was preg for the past 3 days because I cannot bet behond this Hemm pain.
