Tuesday, 5 Feb Thanks for the advice on the hubby. Somedays are harder than others. lol He went to work so I am golden right now, hopefully his mood will be better when he gets home. Congrats and have a happy, healthy pregnancy. just1sillygirl -
Tuesday, 5 Feb Hi There! I'm here in California and wasn't married to my first daughter's father. He had to fill out a declaration of paternity before they would put him on the b/c, but he did it right there in the hospital almost immediately after she was born, so it wasn't a big deal at all. Not sure what the rules are like in your state, but I bet it's similar - probably nothing to worry about. Best of luck to you and I hope the crib gets there soon!!! TannersMommy -
Tuesday, 5 Feb Isn't that like the plug thing or how it plugs into the wall. I think diff countries have different plugs. I don't really have a clue. momoftwoangels -
Tuesday, 5 Feb Hello, I was reading your comment about the birth certificate & not being married. I have a 20 month old daughter & at the time of her birth, her daddy & I weren't yet married but his name still went on the birth certificate immediately. I am not sure if the rules differ in each state, but in Maryland there is no such rule that you have to be married first. Hope this was of at least a little help! Good luck jessicag26 -

Monday, 4 Feb The dog thing...I feel like my dog knows, she is overly lovey to me, and wants to love right up on my belly too...she has never been like that, she just seems so attached lately...so I think in some way they have to know =0) Sharonimo -
Friday, 1 Feb Try apricot kernel oil-I used the first time from about 3 months on and had no stretch marks. Might just be a genetic thing, but it might be worth a try!

Friday, 1 Feb I am petrified to go into labour as well. I can't get over it and worry about it lots. I have finished my prenatel class hoping it would ease my mind but no. I have read choosing the birth plan thats right for you hoping it would help but no...lol. I am a huge baby having a baby, hahaha mama40 -
Friday, 1 Feb I never expected my husband to talk to my belly:) I myself don't do this either. But this doesn't mean we are not excited. Every person has his or her own level of displaying emotions. Don't ask him to do something he is not comfortable doing. As long as he is kind and good to you, what is the difference. Besides, many men cannot bond with the baby until they really hold her/him in their arms. It is perfectly alright. bear with him:) Good luck. brandiiAt16 -
Friday, 1 Feb CONGRATS!! mitzumama -
Friday, 1 Feb Sometimes with the first baby men don't even get it until the baby is born. It's hard for them to imagine the baby as a real thing, and your being pregnant with a baby doesn't make sense either. They know you are pregnant, but somehow it seems unreal to them until they have the kiddo in their arms, then... they will cry like big babies themselves and be shocked like, hey, where did this baby come from. You'll say, I've been cooking it for nine months and they'll look at you all crazy, like, 'for real'? It's not THAT dramatic, but you see what I'm saying. Hopefully you can make some suggestions about what you'd like from him now, remind him that this pregnancy is a real thing, it's happening to you now... and you'd like to be able to look back on it together and be able to say, my husband was really helpful, not my husband didn't seem to notice that the whole thing was happening. That might swing him into action. TannersMommy -
Friday, 1 Feb Oh and bloody show is when your mucus plug comes out. Mine came out (w/ my first preg) while I was peeing. Actually It took me two times of peeing to loose it and I think it was days apart. It doesn't happen until much closer to delivery. Anyway it can be bloody so I guess thats why its called that. Everyones is different, mine only had a little blood and I think was a greenish color. Ask your doc, but I think after it comes out no sex. Not 100% on that though. TannersMommy -
Friday, 1 Feb Was the preg planned? Your BF may be a little nervous or it may just be his personality type. My husband doesn't really do much pregnancywise either unless I ask. Our first was a surprise and I think he was terrified. Maybe if you ask him to rub your back he would. My husband a done a bit better with this preg, but is still a little standoffish. It could be to that our changing bodies are terrifing them. Some men find a preg woman incredably sexy, just not my man. Good luck, I suggest telling him how you feel. mavy143 -
Friday, 1 Feb I just read your post... My hubby said something to me that made a lot of sense...
He said a woman becomes a Mother the day she finds out she is preggant. A man becomes a father the first time he holds his child.
I think this is so true. My hubby has been very attentive...but I have also been on bed rest for the last 8 months, so my pregnancy has been very stressful.
Wishing you all the best... Congrats!! jen115 -

Thursday, 31 Jan omg...totally know what you mean...I can't go get waxed...so things are a mess...I'm totally insecure about my body...which makes sex harder....my belly button is sticking out...i've got streach marks on my boobs...(which I had done in April) and now I might have to do them again because they will be all saggy...lol and the sad thing is they look small compared to this basketball that it looks like I've swallowed...LOL...plus this animea thing...(I've got it too) makes things really hard...I've almost passed out twice in the past couple of weeks....at least my skin finally calmed down...I had horrible prego acne the first 4 months...I looked like a 14 year old who just hit puberty...lol...
are you haveing a girl or a boy? jen115 -
