Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hello,
I am also seeing the specialist. They are checking my cervix every two weeks until I am 24 weeks. Only about 5 more weeks now! There is a lot that they can do now to ensure a healthy pregnancy. Just keep going to the Dr and they will take care of you.

To answer your question about cervix incompetence, I have the same problem. My first pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage at 20 weeks because of this. So this time I had a cerclage put in at 13 weeks to prevent a miscarriage. I visit my doctor every two weeks and at each appt he does a transvaginal u/s to measure my cervix and to make sure everything is ok. The downside to all of this is that I have been placed on strict bedrest so that I dont put pressure on my cervix. I hope this helps, and good luck.
