2/21/08 So i talked to a well known psychic yesterday who is always on the denver rock radio station and she said that we are having a GIRL!! YAY i'm so excited! I absolutely loooooove the name Olivia and at first Tom didn't like it at all, but he told me it really grew on him and he really liked it now, so i said he could pick the middle name! You're very sweet thank you! You're gorgeous and i love the tatto on your eye so unique! i have 4 myself..the whole engorgement thing is really freaking me out now! But oh well, a part of me is like 'i cant wait' lol And my boobs didnt start getting bigger until about the end of my 5th week out of no where! My hubby was noticing most of my symptoms and I was just ignoring them chalking it up to impending AF..but one thing that I did notice that was out of the ordinary was that my nipples hurt like hell and that NEVER happened! So last week I tell hubby 'watch its going to be negative so stop saying im preggers' get up take the test since i wasnt late yet (40 day cycles) and lo and behold a dark positive in less than 20 seconds as soon as I put it on the sink! So my hubby knew b4 I even knew lol

I had my first baby without meds-except they put an IV with Demerol in right before I pushed..lol..I labored for 9 1/2 hours without any meds and then I gave up and asked for some..but they were so slow getting it ordered that I had to push while they were putting my IV in!
This time I'm going for NO meds at all..I know I can do it..especially since I hear that the second time is usually faster:)

Thanks so much for answering my question! Everyone's been talking about there early ultrasounds and it made me think that my midwife forgot about me! LOL! I guess your right w/ it only being used to figure out the due date, But I already knew when I got pregnant, so it makes sense why I didn't get one! Thanks again! he didnt tell me why he just said he wanted a divorce and he already did all the paper work they just wont file it untill after the baby is born so i hope he changes his mind

Thanks for your advice! I ended up going to accident and emergency on Tuesday night, where they were convinced I had an ectopic pregnancy. I was devastated! They gave me an u/s to check for internal bleeding and transfered me to the Maternity hospital nearby. Aftre lots of tests and stuff, nobody would tell me whether or not the baby was ok. Yesterday morning, the gynae consultant came to see me and told me the only way they'd know for sure is by going for an u/s. He then told me that he had a space for me in theatre that morning, and that it would be key-hole surgery, but they would have to remove a fallopian tube - also that if the other one was damaged he would remove that at the same time! You can imagine how horrified I was! So, it was all riding on the u/s! My partner didn't make it in time for the u/s so I went in alone. When the sonogropher told me she could see a baby in my womb I burst into tears of happiness! I was so relieved! But she still wanted to check that there was no baby in my tubes and she checked both my ovaries at the same time which were all thankfully clear!! Came out of hospital yesterday and have just been resting since. Seeing the little heartbeat yesterday has made everything seem worthwhile! I am so lucky! Hope you and baby are doing well. x

Thanks so much for the words of encouragement and advice...it really helped alot...because I don't feel so bad. But I have been cleared to start jogging again so I am going to take advantage of trying to tone up and not lose weight and I have snacked on sweets but I am going to cut them totally out of my diet now and just focus no healthy eating and fitness. Thanks again.

there is nothing better or scarier than leaving a man we know is bad for us..i was with a man for a few years he abused me and himself.i knew he was poison and i stayed with him..then one day he killed himself and right before he did it he called me to tell me i did this to him..i was numb and of course everyone said you karen you did this to him..and although i wish death on noone ..i was free...if only i had just left..my point is you cant ever make someone trust you or treat you well.and its nothing you do.they hate themselves..and they hate you to..just leave in a year youll be free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen the fireworks there, too. Paid like.. 30 bucks so we could go on this big party boat our whatever out into the harbor and watch them from the top deck. It was funny. One of the fireworks didn't cool off or something on the way down, and started this huge brush fire on the big hill where they were shooting them from lol. Oh gosh. If you ever come back to MI to visit or something, you HAVE to go back to Grand Haven and find Fricanos. I don't know if that's how you spell it, but it's THE BEST PIZZA EVER! You have to order the one with just the cheese and sausage. Mmmmmmmmmm I need it now lol. Sheesh. You really DO need a girl!! Can you throw yourself a baby shower? Cuz if it's a girl this time, then you're gonna need girl stuff!!
