hi everyone me and my husband started trying for our baby in May...i really didnt think things could happen this quickly but when I did a first repsonse test on 29th May, 1 day before my period was due...it was positive. I actually couldnt belive what I was seeing. I did 3 more tests and they were all postive as well...a week later i made an appointment to see my doctor...it must be true if a doctor tells you! Yep...I am 6 weeks and 1 day today and because i found out so early it feels like this 9 months is going to go on forever. Im not exactly lifes most patient of people!!! I feel great so far and still cant belive what is going on inside me...got my first gynae. appt on Sunday so fingers and everything crossed that it goes well...just want to see my bump as soon as possible!!!

Hiya, am typing one handed with bub asleep on lap, hehe i should really go & put her down..
Um, fathers day was ok, just gave a card 'cause he took the day off work, so i couldn't get to the shop!. (might have to celebrate it again when Oz does in Nov i think, LOL). But we did have fun trying aliyah out in her blowup pool, haha me & my hubby can be a bit silly... i thought we were being a little crazy, but was fun, & it really is too hot to swim outside at the moment! (We had the a/c off for a bit & put warm water in it, so was like a big bath really). It was a gift from her uncle (my hubby's younger brother), but have seen them for sale at 'early learning centre' & think 'toys r us' &, 'carefour' might too.
Boy, I can't hardly wait to take her swimming at the beach oneday with little arm floaties, & want to show her how to snorkel when she's a bit older too.
Coffee thurs MoE would be great :)

G'day, hope you are well. Good idea staying in the UK for a bit. It's way too hot here, good to avoid it for a bit if u can. Was 40 deg today...4 more months of this to go!....eeeek!
I totally agree, Aliyah is the same with her best happiest smiles first thing in the morning, I love it, soooo sweet, melts you'r heart & makes u so happy.
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday for the 13th. I just turned 32 in Feb & know how u feel, but not to worry we still have time for another little babykins... although i don't know the logistics of having a toddler & newborn, but people seem to do it somehow... We are so truly blessed anyways, & u are only as young as u feel, try not to worry about numbers.
Was thinking of going on hols in May, but not 100% sure as yet..
Bumps was good, have met a few other nice mums (even though their babes are a few months older) who've asked me for coffee afterwards so to have a chat away from the big bumps group which was nice. Is nice to go to anyways as good incentive for me to get out of the house, & seeing all the other little babes always makes me smile.
I have a feeling we're all in the same boat anyways... re: what else to do in Dubai...
look forward to seeing you when you get back :)

Hey there,
Hope you & sweet little Orrla are both well.
Aliyah is 12 weeks today, yay :)
Am sure she's teething, she's sucking on her hands like crazy & drooling heaps.....otherwise we are happy & well, am so enjoying her grins.
Am going to try to go to bumps & babes again tomorrow as good to get outa the house :)
