Expecting my baby
I am expecting a baby boy in late January. I am on maternity leave now and very excited to see my baby.
Thursday January 10th
Well, my doctor said its not a UTI but she thinks Ill have the baby this week because his head is very low! I can feel its head spreading me open and I am 2 CM dialated! Yay, everybody is so excited for the baby to come and I already have his things set up. I want to see him so bad!
Wednesday January 9th
Everything is going better. I will recieve my maternity benefit tomorrow and we moved out of our apartment and I think we found a good one. It is a little on the expensive side but it is a nice building, the caretaker is sweet, they have a gym and they allow dogs! So, I think Ill go down tomorrow and get it for February. I have to see my doctor tomorrow and I have to tell her I think I have a UTI. =(
Monday December 24th
Today is a lazy day. I have been sitting here almost all day except for this morning. I am nervous because I have not heard back yet from Employment Insurance to find out how much money I will recieve and I want to make sure we have enough for January. I have to wait a month before I get any benefits so it hasn't been that easy. I can't qualify for any financial assistance since I live with my boyfriend. It isn't fair how they do this. I miss my Grandma's house in a way but it's fun to be on our own finally. It's harder but exciting. Jason is working so hard and I won't see him for four more hours! I feel like a big blob but what can I do?

LOL! Having fun playing with ur nipples r u? I usually have to squeeze milk out to get them to stop hurting everyday but I still haven't gone into labor from it. Hope it works for u! Good luck. Have a wonderful weekend (coming up)!!!

As for the baby dropping... My baby dropped a month ago and I was dialated to 1 at that appointment as well the week she dropped. I am still here 1 month later and at my last appointment last Friday I was dialated to 1 1/2 and 60% effaced and I am still here pregnant. Who knows when our little ones will get here, they pick their own time. My Midwife has told me for the last 2 weeks that she thought I would go early and that it can happen any day now, and still no little one here yet. I got all excited that mine would come early since they told me that and here I sit. I have another appointment tomorrow for my 38 week appointment and turn 39 weeks on Sunday. Who knows what they will say this time. Good luck to you if you do go early, but remember they pick their own time, unless you are scheduled. It could be sooner, it could be right on, or it could even be later.

Yeah I thought so! He is such a creep and the thing that gets me is that he always acts like he is in such a rush all the time. And his excuse for not checking today he talking about it hurts. Well it cant be to dang bad im going to have to push a baby out!

WELL IM HAPPY YOU FOUND A PLACE. ITS KINDA SCARY WHEN YOURE SO CLOSE TO YOURE DUE DATE. BUT LOOKS LIKE EVERYTHINGS WORKING OUT. AND THE GOOD THING IS IS YOU DONT HAVE TO HELP CARRY ANYTHING:) I MOVED INTO MY PLACE 3 MONTHS PREGO IT WAS GREAT CUS ALL I REALLY HAD TO CARRY IN IS PILLOWS AND LIL THINGS . IT WAS WONDREFUL LOL

hi, i was going to say, i know your exited and want the baby to come but even though 37 weeks is considered full turm, thats probely still not a good idea to induce yourself. let mother nature take its corse,he will be here soon enough...my first came at 38 weeks and spent 2 weeks in the nicu cause she had problems breathing.....its just best to let them cook till there ready to come, trust me after there here time will go so fast. id say by 40 weeks then you can try these things

I'm on maternity leave and not bored at all! LOL Of course, my leave started just 5 days before I was induced. I did it that way on purpose considering hubby and I can only afford for me to be out of work 4-5 weeks. I go back to work in just two weeks and I can't believe it. I went to Walmart last night without my baby and about lost it, but I'm not ready for him to be in a place like Walmart til he's at least over a month old! LOL I LOVE being here with my baby and I'm going to be NUTS the first few days back to work without him.

I have been swollen the same way and have had alot of pressure down ther as well. It's kind of scary cause sometimes i cant even put my pants up cause I have so much pressure. I asked my doctor and she said that it is normal it's just the baby getting ready to come out.

mine are swollen so much it is scary, the doc told me it is from the hormones and will go away after the baby comes, I never noticed it with my other 2 kids. he said it is the same hormones that makes a baby girl have some slight vaginal bleeding and swollen labia after birth and little boys have swollen testicles.
