Happy 4th of July!!!
Had my 4week-doc-visit on wednesday. She went thru the u/s results. Baby seems to have slightly enlarged ureters, and she's sending me for another u/s with a specialist. she said the measurements are very borderline so she's not all that worried, but we'll find out more at next u/s. wow, that's kind of worrisome. am not sure what to think. am not usually one to worry too much, but how can i help but worry? just glad that technology is so much further so that IF there is a problem they'll be able to do the best to fix it.

IT'S A BOY!!!!! My kids, my husband my mom and I got to see our little man for almost 1 hour today. He wasn't shy and he was very active. The reason why I don't feel him so much is coz the placenta is directly above him. Soooooooooooo cute. We are still half in shock that the little one is a boy! So happy.
Next week I go for my doc appointment and we'll go over the results of today. But all looks good. Head circumfrence 16cm. Weight 245 g. Due date 11-23. Right on track!!!

Time sure is flying. And it does help to be busy ;-)
Spent a beautiful day in Chicago yesterday with my mom. Kids were fantastic.....so interested, not whining, etc. Very proud of them. Weather was super too. Went up Sears tower and did the whole touring thing by bus. HB last night was 137bpm. Have felt baby a few times but very rare and only slightly.
Today I had to go to the endodontrist. .... tooth cannot be saved. But the reason I'm writing about this is: As the dentist laid back my chair really far the little baby felt uncomfortable and I could feel it turn and move until it settled (in a for me very uncomfortable way....but oh well ;-) ). Was very nice to finally feel such strong and a little longer lasting movement. But it was kind of slow. As if one moves when sleeping....
After tomorrow is the big day. Postponed from 11 am to 1 pm..... Whoooooo...can't wait. Husband might be able to attend also!!

Signed on our house June 12th. YEAH!!
My mom came on June 17th. So my younger daughter had her Oma at her b-day!
Baby bump has grown substantially. Weight around 138lbs.
Measured heart beat a few times and it's always been at around 134-138bpm. Hmmmmm....
Felt the starts of some queasy feeling today. But nothing major.
Went for two longish walks today. My feet seem to hurt really quickly these days. Even though I got myself some good flip-flops, and today I wore sneakers.....
Oh yeah, felt the baby move for sure today. Not just little bubbles but a proper roll-over kind of movement. I'm sure now!!!

Wow, the week has gone by fast. Kids are on summer holidays, so they are keeping me busy. :-) in a good way....at least when they are not whining "i'm bored" :-)
Hadn't felt flutters in a while, but thought i felt some last night.
Am also much more energetic, although i still have my VERY tired days!!
Tomorrow we're closing on our house. Was supposed to be today, but times conflicted. Wow, still can't believe we'll be home owners. We'll get keys etc July 12th.
Went to look for maternity swim wear but no luck till now. Don't feel like ordering online though....hmmm

June 4, 2008:
Was at my ob/gyn today around noon. Weight 137lbs...and she says my weight gain is fine for my starting weight. Also did a vaginal check coz I had been feeling like baby is bottoming-out, but all's tightly closed and good. Got to hear the baby's hb, but not sure how fast coz baby was moving so much doc had to chase her/him around with the doppler :-)
Got the referral for the BIG u/s, and called right when i got home: JUNE 27th!! Wohooo... Can also bring my kids, but they'll have to wait outside for first part (don't know why). My mom'll be here then, and that'll be great for the kids and her! Can't wait. They also do a 3D or 4D (i forgot), and i get to take a cd home for my husband to see.
My best friend arrived for two days....such a short time. but better than nothing. :-(

June 3, 2008; 15 weeks
Wow, time is starting to move along faster. But no more flutters for a few days. hmmmm...Hb/min still at 144-147.
Had another busy weekend. My younger daughter chose to have her b-day party at a rock climbing venue (after a democratic vote amongst all the invited guests....so cute). I was a bit apprehensive but in the end almost everyone showed up and it was great fun!! We're so happy she had such a great party!!!
Off to my quad test tomorrow. Will hear heart beat, but that's not too special as I have the home doppler...:-)
Kids are off school after tomorrow. Then we've got our house closing coming up on June 11th....yay!!
Tonight my best friend is driving in from Wisconsin, just for 2 days. that's nice too.
Had a really busy day yesterday, cleaning, shopping, etc....was sooooo active. Felt good to finally be active like that again, but today i'm tired and worn out. I'll go do a quiet TV morning ;-)

Went for a nice long walk with a new friend....daughter's friend's mother, first time i met her....it was very nice, and i feel so much better.
Was a bit worried about the comfort level (feel like baby might be falling out), but that went away pretty soon.
My husband called when i was researching 3D places to find out gender early and he's like "Why? Are we rushed?". Wow, i know he'll be happy if it's a boy, but didn't think he'd be so non-challant either which way.
Oh yeah, had a dream last night about delivering a little baby girl with one blue and one green eye, a little lighter skin than my daughters but the same bushy hair. Really easy delivery too, no pain whatsoever...in a weird hospital. Hmmm.....first time i dreamed about the baby.

Wore my beige pregnancy capris bought at Babies'r'us for the first time today. They're still quite big and make my behind look deformed, but they are soooooo comfortable. I'm sure i'll grow into them quickly.
No spotting today, but a some discomfort when walking or standing.
Less tired despite little sleep last night....
Felt a bigger flutter, I think! :-)

May 27, 2008; 14 weeks
Had flutters i think for the past few days. And last night, right before passing out on the couch, I know i felt the baby turn. Just once. And flutters this morning too. But also some brown spotting since yesterday. But i think that has to do with sex the day before and big, long party at my house for neighbors leaving/b-day that lasted till past 3 am....and i stayed up cleaning till 5 am. That's not the most restful thing to do!! ;-)
But we had fun!!!
Last time I listened to heart beat was a few days back and at 144-149.
oh yeah, and morning weight is at 132lbs now.... ;-)

Wow!! you sound really really busy LMAO. I'm doing good, working like always...i work 10 hour days now so i can save as much $$ as I can before the baby gets here. I've been very tired lately, started to play "baby einstein" cd's for the little one. Havent felt much movement and it scares me.

Oh... I was just curious if you went to the same place. I go to the office next to Edwards Hospital. I hope the little one lets us look. I wouldnt mind either sex, a male would be easier to raise (so they say) and I want him to carry on dad's name, I would love a girl just to dress her up and do her hair and play girl stuff. But when high school hits....LOOK OUT lmao....do you have a preference on what you would like???

Hey! Thanks soo much for the good wishes. I actually went to the ER last night I was in so much pain.It took 3 people to find the baby's heartbeat, but they finally found it after about an hour..and it was 157. Turns out I have a bad UTI and they don't know why I was hurting in my ribs. I still went to my OB this morning- and the took blood and he found the heartbeat right off. So everything looks ok. Thank you for checking in!

Yeah, the boy dog thing didn't work out for my husband as he is a TOTAL Momma's boy. He practically lives on my lap. But we gave it a shot. I got him when I was pregnant with Soleil, which worked out well, until she was born, he was quite jealous for a while, but now they are the best of buds. She feeds him, she chases him around, they just have a blast together. It is a lot of fun to watch them together. And my older girls are AWESOME. I don't know what the teen years are to bring, but right now they are pretty great people, and I am lucky to have them!
