~ This Is My Story~

My name is Stephanie and this is my sixth pregnancy.. Yep, that's right 6!! My husband Chris and I have been together for 9 years and married for 5 1/2.. Im a proud mommy to a healthy five year old son and four angels... I have an Incompetent Cervix which took three precious perfect boys from our arms to heaven. And I lost one angel due to first tri-miscarriage... Im now pregnant (of course..lol) again with what we are hoping for is TWINS.... At my first u/s BABY A was measuring 10days behind my due date with a strong heartbeat and BABY B couldn't be found.. :( ... He said he could see two sacs but only one baby... Im praying for a miracle.. I pray that when we go in for our next u/s BABY B will be there to show us how strong he/she is.. If not , then I know God will prepare our hearts for that... Had an Ultrasound on Wed. the 6th of Feb, it did not show want I wanted to see.. BabyB's never gained a heartbeat and was much smaller than BabyA.. My heart is broken over my loss but I will continue to be thankful and know that I m blessed to have BabyA still hanging on!! The doctor said that my body will asborb BabyB naturally.. Never heard of it until now, but I trust my doc.. Im 13w3d and very excited to be having my cerclage placed on Feb 14th!!!

So here Iam almost 23 weeks and will be spending the rest of the pregnancy on bedrest.. Baby looks good and keeps a heartbeat of around 155!!! At my last u/s my doc saw funneling and my cervix is measuring 1.7cm which is not that good. Our first goal is 27wks where he will give us a couple of shots of steriods to boost the baby's lungs a bit, and then our next goal is 32wks where we will receive the shot again and then he thinks we will deliver around 34wks.. But Iam hoping to make it to 36+ .. Hope me and my little one can prove him wrong.. And by the way IT'S A BOY!!!!!!
