I'm a mother of one amazing little boy, Deegan who was born May 26, 2006. I'm married to my bestfriend since November 14, 2006! I'm a stay at home Mama and wouldn't have it any other way!!!! I love my life and couldn't be happier to share all these moments with the ones I love. We're having a little *GIRL* due November 4, 2008 and we're naming her Laken McKay Carr. We're so excited to add another little runt to the family!!
Well, I told my Husband today after 3 long days of anticipation!! I wanted to wait till he woke up from a nap but I just couldn't resist any longer and plus he's leaving tomorrow(his birthday and the day i wanted to tell him). While he was napping put Deegans "I'm the Big Brother" shirt on and put the positive test in his hand and told my Husband that Deegan had his Birthday present in his hand and he looked and said "Whats this" (haha) and then saw his shirt and just bursted out with excitement!! It was an amazing way to tell him and glad Deegan aka BIG BROTHER got involved! He did most the work =) haha. I have a DR app Monday the 10th at 9am!!! My Husband is supp to go offshore that day but if he does it's ok. I'm so excited and so glad it finally happened. I feel SO BLESSED with such an amazing family!!!! On the morning sickness-I am SO dizzy alll day long! I feel like I drank one too many margaritas and everything is spinning! This pregnancy is gonna be a challenge. Dealing with morning sickness unlike my first pregnancy and dealing with a 22 month old! Woo- But I am SO ready for it!! Thank you all for your sweet comments! I'm so thankful for all the support I have from such amazing women! <3

We went to the dr today for our FIRST ultrasound!! I forgot how exciting this was! The dr moved my due date up 4 days so I'm due now November 4th!! She really didn't say too much. The baby's heart rate was 116bpm and I ovulated from the right side.(which i can tell because I'm having a little pain) I got back next week just to meet all the nurses and all the good ol' paperword! April 23rd I get another ultrasound and June 26th we find out the sex!! How exciting!!!
We went to the Dr yesterday for our Downsyndrom Ultrasound and everything went GREAT!! The baby is healthy(Thank God!!) and just active as can be.(Which is expected being Deegan's brother and my Husband's kid!) The baby was just flipping, kicking, and punching. It just wouldn't be still. It was the COOLEST thing ever!! I had missed seeing the little thing. We got an ultrasound for about 30 minutes so it was a good amount of time to see our baby. Our next app. is May 15 for more blood work and then May 20th for my usual prenatal visit, then after that June 26th we find out the sex!! Hopefully it's a girl but ever since yesterday I have a feeling it's a boy. I've had a girl feeling the whooole time, now I have a boy feeling. Which is totally fine, I just want one of each. Anyways, everything is normal and great!!!
Sorry I haven't updated lately. It's hard keeping up with this, a 2 year old, a 2 year old Husband((LOL!)) and my myspace!((which is www.myspace.com/dineezy if any of you wanna add me!))
Everything is going good!! I've gained about 12lbs which is REALLY good compared to my son. I gained 13lbs by the time I was 3 months! =( Sad, I know. The belly is just now starting to grow! It's like I woke up one day and BAM! But I love it!! This pregnancy is going by so fast I can't believe it! I've been craving cinnamon rainsin bagels like CRAZY! I eat about 4 a day. That and apple sauce and grapes! YUM!!
I go back to the dr in 8 days for another ultrasound and find out the sex! My Hubby swears he only makes boys which I hope he's wrong. I'm really hoping for a girl! I'll be happy with either to be honest! We have both names picked out. I've had my girl name picked out since I was 15 so I don't reveal it to anyone =)
That's really about it to update on. Hope everyone is enjoying their pregnancies and staying healthy<3
We went in for our 20 week ultrasound today and it was sooo amazing!! We got into the room and I was telling our U/S Tech how nervous I was and she was like why and I told her I just wanted to know already what the sex of the baby is. And she said oh well I'll tell you. So,she starts the ultrasound, shows me my birth canal and BOOM, the baby has its legs WIDE open. It was the very first thing of the baby we saw! And she goes "Oh it's legs are wide open" and I asked her if she could tell the sex and she said ya want me to tell you? I said ya..she paused for what seemed like an hour and said ITS A GIRL! I reached over and grabbed my Hubbys are and started to cry my eyes out!!! The first thing I said to him was "I told you!!" haha. Then he goes on saying "Watch, you're gonna see pee-pee in a second" and the lady said "No,thats clearly a girl!" I finally got my lil girl!!! I have my boy and now my girl! She was headbutting me, kicking, and just moving like crazy! She's a mad woman already =) but I LOVE it! Shes already so amazing! I'm so excited for Deegan to meet his little sister! One thing that will never change, is Deegan being my entire world!!! I'll just have to make 2 kids my world =)

Jen Mc - 20.9 hours ago That was what I was thinking...just seemed to be getting a little worse so thought I would check. Thanks for your response.
Numommy23 - 22.1 hours ago Pregnancy is hard on your body, I feel really dizzy today. I love buttered toast but i don't think two pieces would fill me up! I try to keep myself busy or else I do use food to keep me company, it's so good! Us girls are really hard on ourselves. My thighes are getting bigger and even my fiance pointed it out-but not in a mean way. I have to paint the nursery first...yikes. I can't wait to have my baby shower! LOL, have you thought about when you would like to have yours?
jenadamandbaby - 22.1 hours ago thank you! :) i don't feel very good though! i've gained all my weight in my butt! lol. and my lower back is killing me! how are you feeling?
dd1028 - 27.1 hours ago aww cute baby bump! just curious- how do you put the text in your pics and the border?
Numommy23 - 37.1 hours ago You look great for 25 weeks. Especially if you got ride of the weight the first time then I think you'll be fine. If your hungry then eat. Just try to limit the sweets (something I really need to learn ) I hate diets but I know when I need to loose weight I can. I think you'll be fine..you should def. try those fruit chillers..mmmm sounds really good now. LOL..I would die if someone told me no pop or sweets. Just eat when your hungry and I notice that if I stay busy around the house like cleaning or organizing I don't get hungry and my house looks spotless
Numommy23 - 42 hours ago Hahah I love poptarts. Yeah I usually put the yogurt back too but with that granola it is actually really good. Have you tried those "Fruit Chillers" before. OMG they are delicious. They are made by Del Monte and are found in the canned fruit isle. There are differnt flavors but mine is Artic Stawberry. You freeze them and they are like little icecreams but good for you! I recommend those of yogurt anyday! I have the same problem so don't worry. I won't be surprised if I turn diabetic because of all the sugar I could eat.
Numommy23 - 42.4 hours ago I always buy the flavored oatmeal. They have all different flavors and taste really really good. The brand is "Quaker Brand Oatmeal." It's instant oatmeal that come in packets and you just add water and heat. You should try it. Something else that is healthy but sweet is buying granola (it's actually really good and sweet/found in cereal isle) and putting it on top of yogurt. I buy the big one (usually vanilla) and then in the morning you can have yogurt and granola..adding fresh fruit like strawberries is good! It's like the yogurt cup at McDonalds. I've craved sweets this entire time so eating right is really difficult for me.
jenadamandbaby - Thursday, 24 July thanks :) it's easily fixed and i guess at least it happened now and not when the baby is here! but it happened THE DAY AFTER we finished the nursery!!! geez! I only bought the house a year ago and i guess the previously owners tried to have the roof fixed before but they didn't do a very good job! so now adam and i have to have it done the right way!!
excitedmom2be - Wednesday, 23 July the issue of sex is definitely a discussion we have constantly, my hubbie seems to be upset with how infrequently we are intimate, but between being exhausted at the end of the day and getting winded quickly.. plus its not comfortable when all of a sudden you get kicked in the crotch by the baby!! And the big belly is hard to accommodate, oh well, I suppose its just a fact of life... I don't know where the idea of women wanting it more when they are pregnant came from, I sure am not that way!
