Dear Friends,

We are proud to announce the birth of our new baby girl, Debianna. Debianna was born on Saturday, December 1st, 2007 at 9:08am. Her birth was very quick and intense. I arrived at the hospital at 8:15am and began experiencing intense contraction around 8:25am. I repeatedly requested the epidural but I was not fully registered into the computers so I had to wait a few minutes. I was checked at this time and my cervix was dilated to 4cm.

The nurse set me up with the I.V. to get me prepared for my ever so wanted epidural and the anesthesiologist was called. It is now about 8:35am and I’m in intense pain beyond belief. I’m requesting my epidural every 45 - 50 seconds because that’s how close each contraction started arriving.

Around 8:45am the baby’s heart rate began dropping because my labor was moving very quick and it became hard for her to recover form each contraction. So she had to be internal monitored and the epidural could not be placed until her heart rate became stable. 10 minutes later I felt the urge to push and I had miraculously dilated to 9cm. 4 minutes later I had completely dilated to 10cm and my epidural guy had to leave with his medicine. My labor was moving extremely quick and 1 minute and 1 push later Debianna was born into this world. She weighed in at 6 pounds 15 ounces, our smallest and measured 18 inches in length. She’s a true beauty and we are so blessed to have her in our family. She’s truly loved and adored by us all. Our boys are so excited to have a sister and are delighted with joy each and every time they see her.
