MY BIRTHING STORY!
I was supposed to have my scheduled C-section on 11/6 @12pm but to my surprise it didn't happen that way. It was Halloween evening and I decided to take the walk with my mom and daughter for trick or treating. I have never missed a trick or treat night with my daughter so I decided to go. The only reason I went, I went to the doctors that morning and my doctor told me that I wasn't going into labor any time soon. Well the joke was on me. We got back at 8:30 and my mom stayed until 9 and I jumped on the computer to kill time. Around 9 or 9:15, couldn't really tell you since I didn't really look at the clock, I heard this pop, I looked at my daughter and said did you hear that. Of course she didn't and I jumped up since I thought I was going crazy. All of a sudden a gush of water went down my leg. I ran so quickly to the bathroom and grabbed towels and shoved them between my legs LOL! I called the hubby and told him I am leaving to the hospital since my water just broke. My daughter grabbed my purse and my keys, we were off to the hospital. I got to the hospital at 9:30pm, parked my car on the second floor and took the elevator down. We walked very slowly since I could feel the more water come down. We went up to labor and delivery and I told the nurse that my water broke. She looked at me with this stupid look on her face and said they were really booked and they didn't have a bed for me! I said that I was suppose to have my C-section that following Tuesday. Boy did all the nurses jump up, they quickly took me off to the recovery room where they have one bed left. They hooked me all up to the machines, my nurse introduced herself to me and said if I had any pains. The nice thing was I didn't feel a thing, my hubby finally shows up and the nurse gives him the scrubs to put on and told him that he had to hurry. Now mind you it's now 11pm and she said they need to get me into surgery ASAP. Now not feeling any pain apparently I was having contractions every 3 minutes and never knew it. I was almost dilated to 10 and they didn't want the baby to come out naturally, so I was sent off. It was 11:20 and they gave me the epidural and was completely numb. I was laying there and they let the hubby in. All of a sudden I started to smell this nasty burning smell. The hubby said they were cutting me open. Before I knew it I hear this loud cry, the doctor's were laughing since he was still in my stomach and only his head was sticking out. My little man was very angry from the very start, he didn't want OUT. They get him out and he is screaming so loud. I started to cry, he is so beautiful, he had all this hair and very fair. My son was born on Halloween night at 11:39pm and I am so happy that he is here. He is 15 days old today and he trys to stay up during the day which is nice since he sleeps well at night but he gets very fussy during the day.

Hey everyone, I finally had my son! I went into labor early and had an emergency C-section on Halloween. The joy of seeing my son for the first was beautiful. He cried while his head was just popped out of belly. The doctor said he was angry that they took him out. He weighed 7lb 7ounces and was 18inches long. I was discharged from the hospital yesterday but I had to leave my baby. My baby has severe Yellow Jaundice and they had to get him better. I cried all they way home yesterday, I wanted him home with me. So I am getting ready now to go breast feed him and see what his doctor says about him being better today. I hoping he tells me that my son can go home. I will post pictures up later.

Now knowing that I have to go back to work in Feb, I am getting a little nervous on getting my son bottle trained, since he is fully breast fed, tonight was the first night he finally took the bottle, he put my mind at ease. I will continue breast feeding him but to know that he will take the bottle helps alot.

Today was a happy day for hubby and his big sister, he finally looked at them and smiled. The hubby was getting kind of upset since he wouldn't smile at him LOL. Now he smiles at everyone and just smiles all the time.

So since my son has finally got smiling down, I was wondering when he will finally giggle. Out of my surprise, I looked at him and said something and he just giggled. He has the cutest giggle, it reminds me of my daughters giggle when she was a baby. I love looking forward to all the new things he can do.

So my son has been laughing and giggling but he watches his TV show, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and out of no where he was giggling at donald duck, I think it's the voice that cracks him up. He loves that show.

So my son at night loves to suck on his hands while he sleeps due to teething. But now all he does he stares at his hand. He looks at it and just stares for a long time, then he tries to shove the whole thing in his mouth LOL! It's interesting when babies discover new things and what they try to do with it.

Yes!!! No more waking up every three hours, my son sleeps from 8pm-5:30am. Oh my gosh, I was so happy, finally to get some sleep, the only problem with this is, I wake up and my boobs are so hard and sore from not feeding at night, I hope it adjust to his sleeping habit.

Well I haven't been on here for awhile, let's see Chris is up to alot. He is standing up and getting ready to walk, he is going to be 8months old at the end of this month. He is currently sick, he got a bad cold and soon to have 6 teeth. He is so funny, he is crawling and saying mama. When they are this age, they have their own personalities and know what they want. It's been so amazing to have a baby again.
