Looking forwards to our 1st child, Iggy will make a wonderful Dad I just know it. We thought it would take us forever to concieve and it took us two months, little surprized but in a great way.
Everyone around us is being really supportive, I have had to give up smoking which is very hard but keep at it by thinking about the beautiful thing growing inside me and how I need to protect it as much as possible.

Feb 17th

Going for my booking in appointment tomorrow, really looking forwards to it but apprehensive at the same time.
I bought some new bras yesterday, same size but not underwired, what a difference.
Spent about 2 hours in Mothercare with my mate, but resisted buying anything for the baby as it is too soon really. I bought a few babygros last week in the sales cos I couldnt resist but everyone keeps telling me not to get anything and save it till your big cos shopping then is much better.
I have been feeling really good until last week where I felt slighlty pukey several times and came out in a rash of spots, something I have never had to deal with before so that is really irratating me.
One of my aquaintances has offered to give me all her old baby stuff which I am so grateful about, I know I am getting a mamas and papas cot bed and many other things so feeling really lucky.
I have my heart set on a silver cross 3d pram, which my Mum has offered to buy me, but will have to see what I get given first.

Feb 18th

Just been to see midwife they just took some personal details and that was it. Bit dissapointed as thought they would do a bit more. Got to wait till next, month for scan.

March 18th

I had my 12 week today aswell all is great although I am actually 13 weeks 5 days so am now due on 18.09.08.
It is so amazing to see its little heart beating and legs moving we didnt even ask about heart beat, Im sure they would have said if something wrong.

April 23rd

19 weeks and I am looking pregnant now for sure, and I really enjoyinbg it as people dont think I am just fat now. I have been having this really annoying/painful in my left buttock on and off since week 7 but I think as this is my only real side effect from this pregnancy (apart from initial exhaustion) I cant really complain.

I dont know if I have felt the baby yet, my guts are so bad most of the time that I usually put down any unusual happenings to them. Ha ha ha!

May 21st

Had scan last week Biscuit was wriggling so much and would let us see it so glad wasnt put into temptation to find out sex. The scan picture was rubbish too but the most important thing is that Biscuit is ok and all its bits. Sorted out my maternity leave and finishing dead early as clumping all my holidays together as well. felt it kicking about 20 weeks and it hasnt stopped since, I can tell it is gonna be trouble. Iggy and I are so happy and in love I really dont want anything to piss on our happy chips.

of course i want to know how things are going :D i just needed to step back and reorganize my thinking. i didnt know if being bitter about something like that was normal... so many women jump back in the saddle so quickly- and i just felt like my body needed some serious TLC.

september isn't such a big landmark anymore, since im not giving birth and all ;) ive pretty much dealt with that, and moved on.

and for the record i will accept any and all tips regarding:

1) birth. epidurals. babies. nausea.

and!

2) mother in laws.

Well I decided to have one. I only finish work in 9 weeks time, my own choice though. I can't afford to take too much time off so I want to spend as much time with my Lil one as possible.

it would have been a couple of months ago, but im feeling a whole lot better now :) im glad you arent mad that i was distanced myself for a bit!

and YAY i can not WAIT to start again :D we are going to in october :d i think that gives us enough time between pregnancies for my little uterus to recoop :) (5 months!). in addition to that, im getting like 3x as healthy for this pregnancy, in hopes that it helps me feel better throughout! i want to be able to run through the second trimester!

anywho! :D how are things with your baby? you are SO close!!!! conrats!! im so psyched for everything i used to chat with, you all are soooo very close to the end! i remember being at 12 weeks, reading all the 30 + week forums :D

i getta do that again soon :) until then im considered "ttc" although... not really! im try NOT to, until october :D we are being natural about it though :)

Oh right no you didnt come across that way dont worry, i just get frustrated with the way things are these days. I will talk to my health visitor on Thursday as she is coming over, i hate the way they always say 'well if you change your mind, i def think you should think about it' i mean say that to me if i was gambling my whole life away but im not! Thanks for your advise tho i do apprecaite it.

Just a question, are you having a baby shower? I am from South Africa and we have them there but not sure if its a done thing in the UK, please let me know? How is all going with you and baby? Keira and i are doing really well, just counting the weeks now... Not long and i am so excited.

Thank you!! That is good news! I do feel her moving but not as much as I used to. I guess I am just paranoid!!! She must just not have much room in there anymore and can't move like she used to. I go back next Friday and I can't wait!! Not much longer to go now huh?

I think that is really unfair, so who will be delivering your baby? I think i am pretty lucky then as i have one doctor and one midwife. Oh yes i got an appointment tomorrow, yippie, i get to hear my baby girl's heart beat and so does my hubby for the first time. I cant wait. If ever you need to vent or just get something off your chest, im here. X

Thanks for the message. I think you should be able to stuck with one midwife so you both get to know each other before your big day. Which one will be delivering your baby? I would like to know who its going to be before hand.
