This is my first. Not planned but very excited. I am 6 wks and 5 days today with a due dat e of March 30th. First u/s yesterday heart beat was 118 beats per min, very heathly for this stage. My boobs are tender and big. I am counting my blessings that I haven't had morning sickness, where I have always had a weak stomach (can't drink, get sick when stressed, nervous...). I am eating very often, drinking a ton of water and peeing a lot. I did have some spotting for about 4 days, but no major cramping. Double checked with a ultra sound and everything is great. Other than that dizzy and sleepy and taking it easy these days. Looking forward to the 11th week...good luck to all! Will update as weeks go by.

Aug 21st - Now into 8wks, nothing much has changed. Just a weaker stomach (with no sickness), always hungry (which can make me moody), and not getting much sleep these days. So I am guessing everything to still growing normally, I hope! Telling my family this coming weekend.

Sep 1st - Week 10 today, week 9 was a little easier on the stomach, still very hungry and sleepy. I had to buy my first pair of mat pants for work. Feel like I am growing everyday. I weigh myself a lot and am anywhere from 119 to 125, started at an average weight of 116. Have a dr. appoint on wed. Currenting looking for a midwife. Told my family last weekend.

She is just gorgeous!!! She don't even look like a newborn, she looks so healthy. Well I really look up to you thats for sure. I let any little thing scare me. I would have acted like a big baby having a natural birth and a home birth at that. I bet it was nice though being in the comforts of your own home. There's not many that can say they've done that. Well I'm so glad everything went as well as it did. I'm being induced at 38 wks b/c of all the complications I had last time. So just 4 wks to go. Yay!!! I'm glad breastfeeding is getting easier, did she have a hard time latching on. I hope I can breastfeed I didn't get to last time. Well tell Shane to keep the pics coming. Keep in touch.

I am doing pretty good, yes I am breastfeeding, its going good she feeds every couple hours unless she desides to sleep longer (she is her mothers daugher in the sleep department) I am still trying to find out the best way to positon her, I am a 40 g, probably bigger now so its kinda tricky.

Here is my birth story

After walking around at 3cm dilated for 3 weeks, I went in for my checkup at the doctors being overdue at 40 weeks 3 days pregnant, the doctor checked my cervix and yep I was still 3 cm but i was thinned out, so she swept my membrains ( which automatically made me 4 cm) felt my uterus to see how big the baby was. The doctor said wow thats a big baby!, we can induce you anytime. I was like sounds good to me. She was oncall at the hospital the next day, but there were already 2 inductions that day, so I was waitlisted. Called the next morning and they told me to come in, I was so excited. But as I was getting ready, the nurse called me back and said she didnt see that I was on the waitlist and said to come in tomorrow to see what time to come to the hospital.

The next morning I called and needed to be there by 7am. Got there and checked in. Got my IV put in and the pitocin started at 8am. I didnt start having contractions for about an hour and a half. But when they started, boy they started. They were 4 mins apart and lasting 45 sec. but soon tured into 2 min apart and lasting 45-60 sec, I tryed to hold out on getting pain meds but damn those things hurt. So at about 10:30ish I got the spinal, I was fricken numb from my armpits down,I couldnt move at all, it was the weirdist feeling ( It was so awesome). About 30 mins later my doctor came in and broke my water,She said I was 6m, then I fell asleep for 2 hours. Woke up and I was able to move my legs again but still not feeling any contractions. At about 1:30 doctor checked me again and I only had a lip of my cervix left, meaning I was 9 1/2 cm. wow that went by fast! I was going to get another spinal but it was too late. The nurse told me that before this spinal wares off we had to get the baby out, so at that point I was determined, I started pushing at 1:45ish and my baby girl was born at 2:11pm weighing 8lbs 8oz. I was so happy she was finally here, Ive been waiting to have her for so so so long. Im finally a mommy, yeah!!!!!

Hey you, haven't been on as have been so busy doing nothing!!!! Toby is perfect really enjoying him, have finally sorted out the feeding thing which is great. I think my birth story comes up when you click on the blue foot print. It was long and ended in a bit ofa drama, thing never go normally for me I seem to attract drama but it was all ok in the end and I'd do it all again tomorrow if I had to. Hope you guys are all well.

I had my little bundle of joy April 5th at 2:11pm. She was 8lbs 8oz, 20 1/2 inches long and of perfect heath. will post a birth story soon.
