Baby ROCCO V is HERE!!!!!

March 21, 2009. 8 lbs. 10 oz. 20 1/2 '' long. He is just too cute. I couldn't believe how big he was. He's our little budda. Check out my birth story for details.

Hello Everyone!

My husband and I have been married for 8 years, been together for 15 years. He is 34 and I am 31. We started trying for a little one July of last year. We got pregnant on the very first try. We couldn't believe it. But unfortunately when we went for our first u/s at 8 weeks we found out that the sack was empty. They said the egg attached but never grew. So I had to have a D&E. About 2 weeks after the surgury I went for a check up and they said everything looked good. They told us not to try until I got my first period. We didn't try but I ended up geting pregnant again. They set me up for another u/s but I was having another miss carriage at 4 weeks. I had to have another D&E. UGGHH!! Then they said we had to wait at least 3 months to try again. We waited a little longer than that but decided we were ready to try again in June of this year and here we are. I found out the week of July 16th that i was pregnant. YAY!! The doctor brought be in for an u/s a week later and we saw a little lima bean shape with a heart beat. It was so exciting. They said I was 7 weeks 1 days.

September 4th, 2008

We went to doctors for our 1st real check up. They said they should be able to hear the heartbeat now. I really feel good so far. no morning sickness at all yet. They had a hard time hearing the heartbeat. They said they were going to check with an u/s just to make sure everything was good. They hooked me up and it was incredible. The whole baby was formed and there. We could see the arm moving up and down and a big foot right up against the screen. Heartbeat was strong. 152 beat a minute. We were so excited. It was amazing. I couldn't believe the difference in just 4 weeks. They said I'm 11weeks 1 day. Can't believe it went from being a lima bean to a fully formed baby already.

October 6th, 2008

We went for another check up today. Everything is good so far. We finally heard the heartbeat. It was loud and strong. Wonderfull feeling. We go bad Nov. 3rd for the 20 week u/s. They said we can find out what we are having then. I kind of want to be surprised, hubby wants to know though. We will have to decide.

November 3, 2008

We went for our u/s today. ITS A BOY!!! lol... we can't believe it. So surprised. It was so funny. There was no doubting it. He had is legs sticking straight up in the air and there it was. hehe. showing off. It was wonderful go see him moving around and they said everything is good so far. YAY!!

December 2, 2008

We had another check up today. I am 23 weeks and 6 days. They said heart beat was great. Everything was good. I gained 7lbs though since the last visit. It makes me at 15 lbs total so far. I figure its because i have alot of birthdays and thanksgiving in there. hehe... They said i have to get the glucose test done at 28 weeks.

December 30, 2008

We had our 28 week check up . Heart beat was good. I only gained 2 pounds this time so I was very happy with that since I ate terrible at x-mas. Lots of homemade cookies and stuff. They said I will start going to the doct. every 2 weeks now.

January 12, 2009

We had our 30 week check up. Heart beat was still good, My glucose test was good. Doctor said he was head down. She first thought he might be breach but he isn't. She said he can still flip around but if he's been head down once he will most likely go back that way when ready to come out. I go back in 2 weeks. She said at 36 weeks they will start doing the internal exams.

January 27, 2009

Had our 32 week check up. Everything is still good. I gained another pound . Not to bad.

February 10, 2009

Had my 34 week check up. Everything was still good. Blood pressure and everything. Gained 2 pounds. Not bad. She said in 2 weeks at next appt. I will have my first internal and get the strep B test.

February 24, 2009

Had my 36 week check up. They did the strep B test and my 1st internal. She said I am 1cm dialated and 50% efaced. I think my eyes bugged out of my head. I totally wasn't expecting anything to have started already. Not due for 4 weeks. She said her gut feeling is I'm not going to make it to my due date. But she didn't seem all that concerned like I was going to go into labor any day either. She said ok, see you next week. So now I'm just nervous. UUGGHH!!!

March 5th, 2009

Went for 37 week check up. The strep B test was negative. She said that I was still only 1cm dialated and 50% efaced. No change. I really thought I had made more progress because my belly dropped some but she said I have a little ways to go yet. I go back next week.

March 10, 2009

Went for 38 week check up. Doct. said I'm 1 1/2 cm dialated and still only 50% efaced. She said that his head has moved down more though. Said that if I don't go before next weeks appt. then they will strip my membranes next time to hopefully get things moving. UUGGHH... I don't know about that. We will see.
