Nov 5, 2007: Finally! got some exercise, moved my fat ass and went for a longggg walk. It was freezing outside, nose was running but I walked and walked more to get rid of gas than anything else and thanks to Parveen who reminded me of how big my butts getting these days!! :-( It feels sooo good though, and Parveen better give me a back rub before I crash for the day. :-) See u girls tomorrow!

Nov 6, 2007: This morning I was at a meeting, noone knows about my "condition" ;) or maybe theyre too polite and all of a sudden I just wanted to throw up, which is soo weird, I did not have nausea through my pregnancy till now :) and suddenly! lol. Anyway, now am fine after stuffing my face with lots of food, which is the solution to pretty much everything these days...

Nov 12, 2007: Finally had a fight with Parveen today, its tough to start a fight w/him, we are never angry at the same time usually! I was shopping for fetal monitors and did'nt have my phone with me, I asked him for his and he started by saying I shd use my phone more often and ended it with saying I should walk more often (not again!)... I got so mad, said it was his baby too, so he could use his phone (what a sillyyy fight!) I didnt talk to him for an hour, he played all these mushy songs for me and he sanded and painted my bathroom wall all afternoon (I've been remodelling my bathroom for a yr now ;)) and I just had to smile :) It was exciting to fight (short though it was) after a long time of boring bliss...

Nov 18, 2007: Movement at last? Last night, I felt a soft kick, it was awesome! :) I hope that was a kick, Im always so sure, then after hours of no atcivity, the doubts surface again. Tomorrow is a big day! We have our u/s, doc appt, and leave for Cannada in the evening. Vancouver(2 hrs from here) trips are such de-stressers for us (we are 2 stressed out workaholics!), so I cant wait. Then we are off to India, I'm scared of toilets in the plane, hygiene, the water, the pollution, the crowds, the traffic, everything! :) but my family is really looking fwd to our trip and I really want to see my mom who will be hosting a baby shower for me. She has bought a whole wardrobe for the baby and has asked me not to shop at all yet :) Anyway, I pbably wont be visiting this site till Dec12 (my husbands place in India doesnt have internet :)), ya ya its in the middle of nowhere, which is a good thing or Parveen and I maybe hooked to our laptops lol! Cant wait for tomorrow, this is killing me!!!!

Nov 19, 2007: Its a... (drumrolll) BOY!! He was so cute, all curled up, lazy and for sometime shameless (thank God!!). I have to get used to the idea of having a boy, I had myself convinced it was a girl! Hubby is thrilled, more than anything it was sooo good to see the baby! :) I think Ill have another u/s in India, its 200 rupees (equal to $4 ;)) there! Take care and see y'all later!

Dec 26, 2007: Am backkk from vaca in India, what an eventful month. I had badd backaches, the roads were lousy (full of potholes) and I had an upset tummy and threw up for the 1st time in the last 10 yrs I think! :( But all in all, it was all really worth it, our parents were sooo happy and it was nice to be fed and pampered at this time! When we got back, it was to an empty house which felt soo weird, missed my family a lot! Parveen claims I shouted "mommy mommy" during my afternoon nap and started snoring right after, so embarassing. :) Moms planning to quit her job so she can spend more time with family, she will be here for 6 months next yr, I cant wait! Then my inlaws will visit for 3-4 months, the babys going to be so pampered! Still have to name my little rat, name huntings soooo tough...

Dec 27, 2007: First external kick! Hubby felt the kicks from outside for the 1st time :) The babys been sooo active this morning :) cant imagine what it would feel like after a month when the kicks get much stronger, hes all over the place too. I started my baby registry at last, and my! do we spoil our babies, so many appliances and gadgets to make their life easy! I dont think Im going to spoil my kid so much by accumulating all that baby stuff in the house, Im going to boil the bottles and not get that hugee sterilizer and no bottle warmer, microwave it is! Not too sure of the wipe warmer too considering its a summer baby. Anyway, so many baby things (tough decisions ahead) pbably why we have 9 months to prepare...

Havent updated my page in a while now! So many things have happened, right now, my ribs hurt a LOT. I can feel my 3.5 pound baby almost all the time. His kicks are so STRONG! He kicked me awake today! Turning and lifting myself up is also so difficult! I just finally feel like I have a whole another person inside of me now! I have 2 more months to go and hes going to be twice as fat by then, fun fun! But overall this has been an easy pregnancy for me, hes not been much trouble at all. I have a 31 st week u/s and my nurse recommended this lab, Im sure its free because we were just an experiment for their u/s machines (which they were launching) so they hardly did head shots! :( but we got few decent shots out of it. He was all curled up, hairy, chubby and looked very vulnerable, I'm in love. I think Im also more in love with his daddy now, because he looks just like his dad! :) Everyone at work is already wondering whats going to happen to my responsibilities when Im on maternity leave for 3 months, its scary! My boss is planning my promotion for next year and so many things to accomplish for that to happen next yr! :( and my collegues are thrilled that they will get to work on what Im doing and own more responsibilities, which scares me more! :) such a competitive work place. Anyway, right now, I just want to give my baby my all. Full 3 months of constant attention, my mom will be here after that, then husband gets a month of paternity leave, then my inlaws arrive, he will be all spoilt by one yr :) just cant wait for him to come out so I can love him to pieces!!!

Feb 29, 2008: Belly's making me late!!

My belly makes me late to work each morning! This morning, it was soo hard to roll over, sit up and fall out of the bed. I have to get in to work by 10:20am everyday latest, otherwise parking lots close by gets filled up and I have to park quite far away! I also have to pick what to wear that will not make me look fat, but make me look preggers! I still have illussions that I look sexy during my 8th month! I always have to pack extra snacks each day, a lunch at the cafeteria is never enough, which never used to be the case before, so I hunt in my cupboards each morning, packing just about anything edible, believe me this takes time! :) My appetite is HUGE these days! This morning I reached at 10:20am and found the last parking spot under my building, and I parked quickly, but it was sooo close to the neighboring car, that my belly COULD NOT, WOULD NOT be squeezed through, so I had to shove my big belly back into the car and park so I had space! Okay, hunger strikes again, let me go eat...
