11th May

well everyone.....im now a mommy!!what an amazing experience,most painful to but its the best feeling in the world.I gave birth to Addison on Friday 9th May@ 9:17pm weighing 6lb 3oz.i had a very hard labour i think,i was in slow labour wednesday @ 5am but it was very very painful,contractions were so strong they hurt that much i had to go upto the hospital to be seen,i was only 1.5cm dilated though so had to go home and suffer!I contiinued to go through tis until friday,when i got admitted to hospital to be induced.At around 4pm they broke my waters 4 me on delivery suite,straight after that they gave me a syntocinon drip.They told me just breaking my waters would not be enough,and a very slow process,so about 10-20 minutes after having this drip owh my gosh full blown contractions were here!!They were the most painful thing i have ever felt in my life!!They started to get reallystrong!It eventually went into my back really bad,my legs went numb to!Eventually i had to give in and ask for pain relief,i had pethadine!!Owh my gosh!!That drug works wonders!!Dont get me wrong i still had the pain but not for long and with that i had gas and air!!I was on cloud nine!!They turned my syntocinon drip up to 6mg per hour,i dilated so quick,i can not believe how quick it all went!I just remember getting to the stage where i coud feel the baby was there and i was ready to push,so i did,i got told to stop pushing but i couldnt at all,the midwife checked to see how far dilated i actually was and as soon as she did there was the head ready to come out,so she called the other midwifes to come in,thats when they told me i can start pushing,well from then on it was a bit of a blur because i was high as a kite on pethadine and gas and air,i just remember the feeling of needing to push every 2 minutes!I was pushing so hard but hse just would not come out!!So...i had to be cut,not the nicest of things to have done but i didnt really take much notice,as i was pushing apparently the babys heartbeat had stopped,according to what my partner had said to me and it was true she had got the cord wrapped in her hand and around her leg,so i had to get her out very quickly,1 big last push later here she was...Addison was brought into the world,at 9:17pm.She was placed onto my stomach,she was beautiful,the biggest blue eyes ive ever seen!Id fell in love with her,she was the best thing that had ever happened to me,my partner was so happy to.My mom was also at the birth of her grand daughter and she loved it to.It was worth ever painful second,as much as it hurt me,id never change a thing,the moment she entered this world was the bestest day of my life ever! 25th May,

Well my little addison is 16 days old now,she is growing so quickly!She is golden though.I never expected her to be this good!But she is great for me,she never lets off a big cry at all.Im so lucky she is this good for me,she could of been a naughty baby who just doesnt stop crying!!!!Im coping quite well with her some days im knackered and have no energy whats so ever but i cope with that and still bounce around like a blue arsed fly!!!Im enjoying being a mommy so so much,its hard work but great fun to!

11th June,

My little Addison is now 1 month old,how time flys by so quickly,she is doing great now i had her weighed and she was 8lb 2oz,shes growing so quick,must be all that milk the greedy girl keeps drinking lol!It feels like just yesterday i gave birth to her,im enjoying every moment with her tho!!The only thing i cant understand is why shes still to big for all her clothes lol shes still in some of her tiny baby clothes and her first size clothes!!She has got heaps and heaps of 0-3 clothes and i cant put any of them on her yet lol!!I want her to wear all her little pink girly dresses!!I think she is going through a growth spurt aswell at the moment shes constantly cring for more food,so ive been told to feed her when she wants it.I dont want a big fat baby though!Anyway thats me updated 4 now!

19th June,

I had addison weighed today,she now weighs 9lb 10oz,and shes 55cm long!She is piling the pounds on now its shocking!she was 6lb 3oz born so she is a good weight now at 6 weeks old,how time is flying by so quickly.Totally loving every minute i am spending with her though.She is smiling now and starting to laugh which is so adorable.she chuckles to herself and when she realises shes laughed she laughs again at herself.bless its so sweet.She is also sleeping through the night aswell,which is so great lol.shes waking at about 7am for her feeds,she is golden,such a good baby girl.

21st June,

I had Addisons 1st professional pictures took today,had some lovely shots taken of her!she wasnt to impressed with the camera flashing in her face so many times and she started to get very restless,he must of took a total of 90 pictures in total!Its ant friend who took the photos he is a profesional photographer,he owns his own buisness so i knew they would be good pictures!We had pictures took of me with Addison and pictures of ant with her to,then we had some of me and ant taken also of Addisons hands and feet,we had a mess about with the camera to and me and ant had a pillow fight whilst he took pictures so im looking forward to see all these and il post them up on here when i recieve them all.

2nd August,

Its been a while since ive been on here and updated my page!Busy being a mom is my reason lol i dont have much time for this site as i did when i was pregnant,well my baby girl is 3 months old now,its flying by so quickly for me,i just can not believe it!She is coming along fantastic,shes such a happy little girl,always smiling and laughing!I have such a good baby girl,she sleeps through the night to from8pm till 7:30am next day so i cant complain about that either!she has got her 2nd lot of needles this week coming!im dreading it!I didnt go in for her 1st ones my partner did i couldnt bare to see them make her cry im such a wuss lol!I tryed her on her first jar of pudding today she loved it!It was baby 1st rice!Very messy lol but fun all the same.

9th August,

hi!Addisons now 3 months old!gosh where has this time gone!she is coming along fantastic!She had her 2nd set of jabs thursday,she screamed her head off,she had her 1st needle that started her off crying then when they did the second needle she was screaming that much that she couldnt breathe.Its awful to no something is hurting her so much.I dread her last set off needles in a months time she has to have 3 of them thats going to be even worse.Its awful to watch them get hurt but in the long run its for the best.

hahaha im still here! not with baby! i got sent home coz theres too many ppl doing it naturally and tehy havetoo many in for induction and too many having emergency sections!! so little old me got fucked off!! TYPICAL gotta ring back at 2 pm to see if i can go in :( if not its tomorrow. if im not getting done today im just gonna shag all day long lol xxxxx

i go to a psychotherpist every other week and my midwife team are on watch for pnd, i wont be getting discharged from my midwives ffter the normal 8 or 10 days or what ever it is i have to stay under their care for longer, and the health visitors aswell are all on close watch for me.

i go in in just over an hour i dunno why but i feel hollow and empty like iv got no emotion about it at all. last night i had a really good sleep but i think thats coz i was just so exahsted its a weird day lol

it just seems to be when ever we seem to be working things out and happy and on an upward slope and everything seems dandy something new comes n kicks me back down.
iv had awful depression this whole pregnancy been fare most of my lifeiv had it n i just dnt know how much more i can take.
i often wonder what would happen if i just died but i cnt think like that coz im lucky and im gonna have a baby n all that but i cant help but wonder lol

never mind im sure its just hormones mixed with tiredness mixed with fear lol

i think were just going to the local pizza restaurant n having izzas n then going in to the pub we had our 1st date at lol

i had the worlds roughest pregnanct n me n andy are on tenterhooks at the best of times. well be getting on fine then ill find something out like he was seein sum1 when we were on a break or he slept with a hooker or he goes n gets ratted in town when i was 5 days over etc

i love him but i think he needs to grow up a little bit. but so do i as im too wimpy to tell him

ya i love being a mommy now that i am out of the hospital .. had so problems with my epidural and i got the really bad head pains from it.. but now that i am home I love it but yes it is very hard work!

Yes I had him! I had him on the 30th of july every thing went well with the labor... it was about 12hours long. But i am doing good and so is he. he is 3 weeks old now he was 7lb and 10oz at birth and is 8lb and 5 1/2 oz now so he is getting pretty good.

HI there,

Thought I'd drop a line, how are your two going?

Well we had a scare last week on wed'. Small ( and I mean small) amount of blood, I was freaked out as you could imagine and my Ob' was in surgery and my GP was gone. So I rang my specialist lady and they said that legally they couldn't look after me once I had moved over to my Ob but they would ring me straight back. Well they did and said that they were getting the u/s lady to come in if I could come straight in. I did and the baby is FINE, kicking and stretching and patting the placenta! They couldn't find any blood so it was surmised that it was just a little irritation in the virginal wall. What they also found was that I have Placenta Previa! It is a complete so that means that I can't have a natural birth. This has gutted me on many levels. You see my labors have always been wonderful! It's like I've been rewarded for going through all these bad things during the pregancies. And now I can't. I am however VERY greatful that we know so early, as they are able to keep a good look out for me and baby so we'll be safe. The Dr said that they usually have to take baby at about 34-36wks when the braxtons start because that starts to pull the placenta away. I said " but my braxtons start at around 20-25wks!" They said in that case they would be monitoring me extra carefully. Get us as far as possible. We should be able to get to a safe time if I don't do ANYTHING!!!!! Like a vertical version of bed rest. I just can't race around, not to much activity, no pilates, no picking anything of consequence up and no getting my blood pressure up. Oh well, good thing I like sewing
