Hey there Jen, I went on here for the hell of it, but i see that you got an abnormal pap, i did too after sean, and it was just abnormal cells that can cause cancer, they just burned them off. It was very scary for me too, cuz they would not tell me over the phone either. Hope things are okay with you, comment back on my myspace.

ah I don't suppose they're likely to give that information out on the phone, hon (no proof that you are you, and confidentiality issues) :( all the same, try and stay positive, I know how these things can make you lose your mind... but just try and keep in mind that there are several perfectly normal reasons why it might have come back abnormal, and hold onto that. I hope your appointment is not too far away and will keep you in mind and fingers crossed that it's one of the silly reasons. Please do let me know! Good luck! X

i had the same thing happen to me about 4 yrs ago... i got an abnormal pap to they did cryosurgery to kill all abnormal cells and since then i have had normal paps... my dr said it was HPV... which can cause cancer... hope this helps!

Hey there, your boys are just gorgeous. I have 3 boys. What made you decide to go for a fourth child? We're tempted but finding it hard to justify! And I really wouldn't do it 'just to try for a girl' like everyone would probably assume.

hey - saw your question regarding abnormal pap results... what class did the Doc say it was? There are 5 "classes" when diagnosing pap results... and some of them are so silly, like recent sexual activity can cause "abnormal" results...

Anyway, fingers crossed for you, and all the best of luck. I had a scare a few years back (not with pap, with breasts) and understand that lightning bolt of fear/paranoia that shoots through you... I truly hope you're okay - check out this article, I figure it will help you put 2 & 2 together as to what the story may be :)

Hi! Just wanted to comment on the abnormal pap thing. My mom recently had one come back abnormal and when they did the second check...everything was fine. No abnormalities. Hope for the best!! Congrats!

Hi I read your comments on the vaccinations and was wondering what you decided. I am thinking about doing the same thing. I feel spreading them out would be much easier on their system but the poor babies have to get poked way more times! Still , I'm so nervous about all those shots at once. My other 2 babies I just did it but you hear so much stuff now.....

My son had his 2 month appointment yesterday and he had the Hib and DTP vaccines only. He developed a bit of a fever last night, so now I am regretting even giving him 2 vaccines at once (even tho they recommend 5! at the 2 month visit). I am spacing them out as to not overload his tiny and immature immune system, I think it's the way to go. Good luck

Hi. I too felt nervous about getting my daughter vaccinated at 2 months, and I never had that worry with my other 2 children. We have decided to do a delayed vaccination schedule starting at 6 months and then going from then. My doctor completely supports that and we have a lot of friends who are doing the same.
