My birth story... I went into the hospital on May 29th at 6am and was induced. They started me off with the little pill that they insert to get things started. At this point I wasn't dialated or anything. The baby was still really high.The pill was good for 4 hours and they started that at 7am... around 11am they checked me and not much had happened.  So they did one more pill... finally my contractions picked up and they said if I had more than 9 contractions in one hour that they couldn't do another pill. That was my case, they started pitocin and checked me again. I finally started dialating and things were on it's way. They still hadn't broke my water though and I kept waiting for them to do that. Around 4pm the doctor came in to check me and said oh wait a minute let me get the nurse and we will break your water. An hour went by and she still never came back. After about an hour and a half a different doctor came in and checked me and said I was 3cm dialated and he broke my water. I guess the other doctor got to busy for me. It kind of pissed me off, not to mention my husband too. Once they broke my water the contractions were intense. I was holding out on getting the epidural because it scares me to death getting one... more to come later... Baby Delaney is crying so I will finish my story later!
