I had Aliyah Joan on December 26th at 1:20 PM. My C-Section went great! The pain after is much worse than with my first C-Section. But I cant believe how much better it was compared to my first one. Aliyah is beautiful. She was 6lbs 15oz, 19 inches long. She looks just like her sister.

A Little About me~

I am 23 years old, and I live in New York, I have a 3 1/2 year old beautiful little girl. Shes wild and crazy and makes me laugh all the time. She has a little temper on her too. I had her when I was 19. I had a rough pregnancy with her. My blood pressure was through the roof and my doctors didnt take good care of me, and notice she wasnt growing inside of me. She stoped growing when I was 32 weeks. They noticed when they admitted me for my blood pressure, and also noticed that I had been leaking fluid for a couple of weeks. The took her by emergency C-Section. She weighed 4LBS and was 16 inches long. I was 36 weeks when I had her. She had some breathing complications and was takin by ambulance to another hospital at went into their NICU. I didnt get to see her for a few days, since I was a few towns over recovering from my c section. She stayed in the NICU for a few weeks, and came home and has been pretty healthy other than ear infections. She was diagnosed with autism at 18months, but now they dont know if shes just behind from being premature, or if she really has it. She goes through extensive theropy everyday and is doing unbelieveably well. She talks now!

I found out I was pregnant with my second at the end of april of 07. Its actually kind of a funny story. I had NO idea i was or could be pregnant. I went out to a club with some friends to celebrate my 23rd birthday. I got very drunk, and of course got a hangover they next day. Well my hangover lasted about 2 1/2 days. I thought to myself "this isnt right". My friend said "Could you be pregnant?" I laughed at that and went to a store and picked up a couple of pregnancy test;s. I took one and about one minute later, it showed positive. I said "OH MY GOD!". We didnt want anymore kids because of what happend with my daughter. We were a little upset at first, him more than me, but we got over it and now we are very happy and excited.

I have been having some problems again with this pregnancy. The same things that started happening with Isabella. My blood pressure has been very unstable, and she isnt growing. She is 1LB 14 OZ, and im 29 weeks. She sould be a lot bigger than that, Shes in the 6th percentile for her size. They put me on baby aspirin and some more prenatals to see if they can get her to grow. Apparently, my placenta isnt working right because of my blood pressure. They said if she isnt growing by 32, 33 weeks, they will take her early. Im not due for my c section until December 20th. So if she is born in a few weeks, she'll be so tiny. Im naming her Aliyah Joan. I bought everything for her already. She got the best of everything. I got rid of all of Isabella's stuff because i thought we were done! SURPRISE!

I have been with my babys daddy for 6 years. He is the father of both of them. He is a really good dad to Isabella. He loves to play with her and take her places. Thank god for him and his patients because at this time, I have none! Pregnancy has done a lot to my moods. I feel bad for him. I snap for no reason and i can be a strait up bitch to him. He put up with a lot. He is a very hard worker and a good provider. He changed his life around for me and Isabella. He was so greedy with Isabella. I had to fight with him just to hold her. LOL. Hes a good daddy.

Right now we are looking for a bigger apartment. I want a bigger 3 bedroom. Apartments dont come easy around here. Im so stressed about it. I was hoping to find one before the baby is born, but i dont see that happening.

As for pregnancy cravings, I crave pringles all of the time, and cheetos. I dont eat as much as I should but nothing looks good to me. I dont eat meat. I used to eat some before I got pregnant but now I cant eat none. I was craving baked potates with sour cream and butter for the longest time, now I cant look at them! I also love Iced Coffee. I try to get decaf.

today my daughter Isabella went to the developmental doctor because of her autism. Well her diagnosis of autism was removed!! She is now just delayed. She will continue to get speech theropy. I knew deep down she wasnt autistic! They said today that she is behind because she was premature, and that she should catch up with in a couple of years. Im SOOO happy. I couldnt ask for better news. Now I dont have to worry about my unborn having autism.

10/17/07

I went to my internal fetal medicine doctor today, and everything looked good. The baby went from the 6th percentile to the 12th percentile. She weighed 2LBS 10OZ. They say im going to deliever at 35, 36 weeks now (Instead of 33 weeks) as long as my blood pressure continues to stay down. shell weigh about 4lbs at birth. im happy with the way it went today. so now, hopefully she will continue to grow!

10/26/07

I just got back from my OB and everything looks good. My doc measured me with a tape measure for the first time today to prove a point to me. Im measuring right where I should be for how far along I am. BUT my baby is still measuring at 26 weeks. So the measuring tape thing isnt always right. the only real way to determine if your baby is growing the right way is by a growth scan ultrasound. I get those every week. My blood pressure was good. I finally took my one hour blood glucose test today so we'll see how i did on it. I think its fine. My SPD is terrible right now. I am having such a hard time with it. Im in SOOO much pain i cant stand it. Nothing works. The doc said it will go away soon after i deliver. I sure hope so. I am actually looking foward to my c section to get rid of this pain! i have been having more braxton hicks the last few days. im just glad this appointment went well. I asked how much weight i have gained so far, and im the SAME weight right now as I was for my very first appointment. I havent gained a pound. Im wondering if thats why my baby is small to date.

I am SOO annoyed today. Im in so much pain i cant stand it. The SPD is so bad it hurts when i sit now. I cant sleep because everytime i want to switch positions, i wake up because it hurts. I wasnt able to go with my daughter and fiance trick or treating. My daughter picked her own costume out.She chose to be spider man. I did go trick or treating with her at her pre school. She was so excited about halloween. I love her. Im preparing for my baby shower. My mom is throwing it for me, but she is so overwhelmed with it, i want to help her. Now im going crazy. Its on sunday so I will post pictures of it when its over. I cant wait. There will be a lot of people there. I keep having dreams about this baby. I wonder if she will look like her sister. I know she wont look anything like me. My fiance is spanish, from El Salvador, so my daughter looks JUST like him. This one is going to also. Thats ok, my daughter is beautiful. (my fiance is cute). im looking forward to having this baby.

I had the best baby shower on sunday. I got so much stuff the the baby. I dont need to get anything. Plus, i got a ton of gift cards and diapers. i had so much fun. my mom did a great job with the shower. I went to the internal fetal medicine doctor yesterday and I got the best news. The baby caught up in size. She is no longer growth restricted. Im SO happy. I may be able to bring her home with me. As long as my blood pressure stays down, and the pre eclampsia stays away, im scheduled for my c section for the 20th of december. my amniotic fluid was a litttle low, but nothing to worry about right now. :o)

I went to my regular OB today for a regular check up. I still havent gained ANYTHING....and i eat like a freakin PIG. I dunno. WELL,,my doctor is going away on the 17th and wont be back until Xmas eve. SOO my c section is delayed until after christmas. Im disappointed. i was so looking forward to having her before christmas. oh well..what can ya do. Shes been kicking So hard today. it actually hurts. lol. she must be getting big in there!

Well...went to my OB appointment and I have protein in my urine. AND sugar. I have no idea what that means, since he had to leave right away for an emergency. He must not be too worried then. I have to go back first thing friday morning. I dont know whether to worry or not. Also, on top of not gaining a pound yet, I lost 2. I dont know why im not gaining weight (not like I need to). Im wondering if she stopped growing again. He also wants me to go in for an ultra sound on saturday afternoon. I get one every 2 weeks anyway, but this one is a week early. I hope hes not keeping something from me. I would flip out on him if he was. this is my baby we are talking about. I have such a bad cold. I have not slept good in 3 days. Maybe 3-4 hours a night. SUCKS! My fiance started his new job. He makes a ton more money than his last, which helps me with my stress since I cant work right now. ALSO..we finally found a bigger apartment, just in time for the baby (hopefully). Its a nice 4 bedroom. I dont think I have enough stuff to fill it though..lol. We are hoping to buy a house in 2 years. We should have enough then. This apartment will due though. I feel so much better. I didnt want my daughter sharing a room with a baby. she has SO much stuff and needs her own space. Im relieved.

Well..i had my growth scan ultra sound today, and she is a month behind. i dont understand! she caught up, and then kinda stopped growing again. Shes 4lbs 3oz. So I mis- understood my doc last time when he said she was 5.5lbs. He said shell be around 5.5lbs when shes born. I mean she is very healthy otherwise, just small. My BP was good, and I gained my first 2lbs! Im scheduled to have her on the 26th of this month. 3 more weeks! OMG! Im SOOOOO excited, and nervous. Ill have 10 days to unpack everything once i move before she gets here. I have been having irregular contractions since yesterday morning. they HURT! but hes not worried because they arnt consistant. Ill have to keep an eye on them!

well..good news. My appointment on the 1st was with my regular OB. I went to the Internl fetal medicine doctor today and my OB was WAYYYY off on his growth scan. My baby girl is infact 5lbs, 13oz (give or take a little). Im SOOOO freakin happy shes growing. The doc said that growth scans could be off by a pound either way, but still, shes growing! I get to have her on the 26th. I am dialted 1/2cm though. I guess i was having some pretty bad contractions friday! I got some really good 4D pics too. I got some before, but not as good as these ones. I cant wait to have her. Only 3 more weeks. BUT some bad news. I cant move till the 1st of JAN. so i will be recovering from my c section while unpacking my apartment. Im not too happy about that. I hope i get some help.

I just got out of the hospital after spending the last 2 and a half days there. My blood pressure went up very high, and i was getting headaches that wouldnt go away! They were going to deliver the 11th, but her lungs arnt ready, even at 37 weeks. I guess its because she stopped growing before. It just sucked. I didnt sleep at all because it was so freakin hot in the room, and my 3 year old wouldnt sleep for her dad, and I guess she was waking up crying for me. I was so upset about that, and glad to go home to her. I have 14 more days till I meet Aliyah. Im on blood pressure meds and steriods for my headaches. I cant wait till the 26th so I can finally meet her. I cant wait to see what she looks like. I hope everyone else is doing well!

12/21/07

Went to the doc. Im SO annoyed with him. He seems to NOT care about my c section because he has yet to schedule a time. Now hes saying maybe thursday instead of wednesday. I dont think so. I made all of the arrangements for my daughter, and my fiance took his vacation around the date of the c section so he could help me out. Nothing seems to be going right for me, and it doesnt look like it will for a while. The lady I was suppose to rent from Jan 1st decided she didnt want to kick the other tenents out, so now we dont even have an apartment. We have been looking for another one, but no luck. Im so depressed and upset. Im staying with my mom, and I have NO room for this baby here. I hope we can find something by the 5th of Jan. I guess the saying is true, when it rain, it pours! Not only that, but today at my appointment, my doc "forgot" to do my group B strep test. So now Im worried about that. I just wanna scream!
